Dawn of Musou Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 On a side note, I have a very defensive oriented Jin play-style and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. Sigh, bad habits work against lesser players so I need to be even more aware of those things. Depends on the matchup really. Being defensive against Tager and spacing with ice swords and normals help a lot until you feel ready to go in. On the other hand, being defensive to someone like Nu or Mu isn't really gonna accomplish anything.
Rhiya Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Yeah. You just need to judge whether or not you'll be able to control the pace of the matchup by being passive. If the answer is yes, do it, since it's safer. If it's no, start taking risks. If it's "I run the matchup at this range, but they run it at this range," always try to keep things in your favor, but know your options when it's not.
