dontuel Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 does CH knee rocket have any guaranteed follow ups? if its a counter hit when theyre on the ground you can follow up with the air combo of your choice (j.k j.s dj.k dj.d or w/e) if it hits them when theyre in the air then they can tech before you can hit them (unless you frc?) not really sure on that and im sure it would depend on the opponents height

I remember one of Dogura's around turned around with knee rocket FRC. I think it is one of the exhibition against Isa's Sol.

I also got knocked out by jais/bryon bridget. Since there is only 2 bridget players in the world i had no experience prior, but i got some now thanks to bryon (LH126 or something, gt my revenge in causals). Im basically full of slayer/eddie match up (lost to my man latiff but took young out during team tourney, lost to him in state team some how......) Dont worry, Next event ima rep Robo ky even more. Taking this bitch to evo and sbo for number 1. Wekk- fking awesome stick .

No offense, but this is terrible advice. Backing up and charging in like a bull on meth will get you nowhere. If you're fighting a retarded spider monkey, it might do something to get hit, but any decent player will block it, leaving you in a neutral position at best. A better idea is to use lvl 3 air missiles. They cause chip damage, control a retarded amount of real estate, and allow you to close the distance and mix up. You played a good match, actually. Your main problem wasn't Robo-specific: it's just that you froze when kugz pressured you (don't worry about it though, it happens). Robo-wise, I would throw down mats and turtle more; your focus early on should be on gaining tension. This match is a lot easier if you have lvl 3 missiles and horsie, since a lot of slayers will just throw out stuff that these moves will catch. I'd say more, but I have a class. =(

Like in the first round, u can see me miss 5hs FRC which woulda led to big damage but thats a personal problem. Kinda froze up during the match cause it was the first time I had a huge crowd watching. (Woulda helped if I had a shot of Mammation vodka ^^)
