aaronyu2 Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 : 3 good games to the people I've played matches with lately = ) I've been having a recent problem where my computer just suddenly freezes. It temporarily stops every time I do a system restore. However every time I do that I have to reinstall the netplay patch again. Is there a possibility that the netplay patch is causing the freezes I get? and theses freezes aren't only during playing the game, it happens at anytime, even in safemode.

Klaige Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 please note anything i say here is in good fun for multiple reasons: 1. it's online, random spikes happen. 2. im not playing my main, playing #R anji would not help my game in any way shape or form, im playing my millia which has all of 2 hours of playtime against human comp. 3. it's online. 4. when i say i wanna see someone in person that's a compliment because i want to play them in the current game under real pressure conditions with my actual tourney character. I'm here to speak on behalf of Peluking, a Dominican Anji player that has tried, but not achieved, to join this forum. He told me to write the following words: I'm surprised to see that people is saying that I'm a dropper. That is not true. I've played against many good players, and I've only dropped once, and that was because that player dropped when I was beating him, then challenged me again. So, I just paid him with the same token . Sometimes I drop before even beginning the match (in the character select screen) because the game gets very slow and unplayable. Klaige, I've only played against you once, so please don't say that I'm a dropper. The many times I've tried to play against you the connection has failed (we never got pass the character select screen). Congratulations to GTX and Spire, who showed me (and beat me with) a great Potemkin and a godly Slayer, respectively . I hope to play against you as much as possible . I don't remember who else I've beaten with my LOW TIER character, but I'm going to say this: if you really think that I'm a dropper, you just have to challenge me anytime. I play only in Delay 4. See you there!!! On a personal note, I have a replay of him (using Anji) beating you (using Millia), so I guess that enough proof to show that he's not a scrub, as you said before. Klaige, he's very thankful to you, because you helped him with the double butterfly lockdown in Slash, and he took some ideas from your guide, but, on a personal note, I will say the following things to you (and I'm not evil-intentioned): 1) Stop complaining about characters. If you don't like one, just pick another. He/she isn't going to change because you complain; 2) everyone has the right to choose their playing style, so nobody can be criticized because of that. If someone plays "scrubby", just beat him and give him a reason to improve . Keep up the high-level playing!

(And the moderating relationship between stupid motivation on the stress and performance relationship SUCKS!!!! )
Klaige Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 If that drop was an honest mistake alright then i'll apologize, but when you play someone who has a 37 game streak and they drop on you after you get a small lead, that looks just a wee bit suspicious. The scrubby comment was a result of being annoyed at getting dropped on and not so much a comment about the playstyle.

Great Zappa/Slayer/etc etc. I was channeling Sprit Joose with the white Sol but it didn't seem to do much good. ;( Also after further testing: It seems there's major lag directly after Sol connects Wild Throw, makes for hard followups. Anyone else have this problem?
