Sym_ Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Been meaning to dig into this since like January(lol) , I've only been able to get the meterless midscreen throw combo on seven characters (MI,SO,PO,FA,EL,AX,SL). Just curious if anyone has found more?

Chachaman Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Honestly just remember when you tiger knee you dont have end on 9 its any up direction (7, 8 or 9). For what ever reason in xrd specifically i find it easter to do 2368 to tiger knee.
RagnaXBL Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Hey guys any tips for confirming off millia's tandem tops after knocking down the opponent?. i've seen so many different ways to do it i'm not really sure which way is the most consistent. i suspect there might also be character specific combos for this. so far i've seen Tandem>2HS>j.D>iAD>etc Tandem>5K>j,K>j.S>j.D>iAD>etc Tandem>2HS>j.S>j.D>iAD>etc Tandem>2HS>j.K>j.D>iAD i've seen alot of variations and generally what happens when i'm playing and tandem hits i do: 2HS>j.K>j.S and then j,D whiffs because they are too high above millia also any tips for programming secret garden? i dont always seem to get the max number of movements on the fireball unless i really mash HS. and if i mash too hard i sometimes mess up the directions and the fireball goes into the ground. is there an easy way to do this that i dont know about?

So, should I dash and do disc oki with YRC or do secret garden oki? Which of these options is better? Dash > YRC get's you closer but is risky if you don't mash buttons quickly. Secret Garden leaves a big hole for them to escape but is character-dependent. I usually choose the first, but I haven't tested the second option enough.
Rele Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 @combo after disc: There's no most consistent way, it's just character and height dependant. If he's very low you add normals or delay them slightly, if he's very high you leave out normals or don't delay them. @programming orb: There's no trick. Hit pmode and man it up. @oki after sweep: I would probably prefer dash disc yrc. Another possibilty is to program orb so it's in their way when they try to escape (many people will try to jump out). It won't give you a direct way to mix them up but leave you in a favorable position overall, since they have to give up ground.

I haven't seen much, but she looks pretty much untouched save for some very necessary nerfs to Dead angle (Now a blowback with 6P) and Winger no longer wallbouncing.

The reason Karinchu was going for SG was because he was playing against Sol who is severely limited in his wakeup options when it's applied properly.

I thought disc oki against Sol was better than Secret Garden, but yeah I just started learning Millia a few days ago, so you are probably the one who is right.

currentlemon Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 I doubt disc oki is gone. Team Red and Daisuke know better to just randomly nerf characters. Seeing the Millia changes from the 3rd location test, she should still be fine, maybe even still high/top tier potential. I know we didn't see the 4th loke test and final changes, but she should not be that bad.

To explain for fruits: SG takes away sol's ability to jump out of millia's setups, without putting millia in harms way. It does more than that, but that's really the high point of using it. Properly executed, of course.
Af0 Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 How good is her 2HS as an anti-hair? I've just been watching some vids and it got blown up by Ino and Sin. Other times, it seems really legit. I'm guessing it's character specific and even then..normal specific? Should I be going to it at all even?
