I borrowed a stick from my buddy (whose a street fighter player) for about a week. Doing charge shots felt a lot easier/more natural, but I kinda prefer the pad because im so used to it. However, tallgeese benefits a lot from using a stick. I dont even try to play it on a pad anymore after trying it with a stick.

Dual Shock 4 with all face buttons at default. L2 is reassigned from AC to just A and R2 is reassigned to B instead of BC, for the sake of charge shots.

Doing AC and BC is not as tough as trying to charge A or B while still keeping up the pressure using just the face buttons.

I mostly play Blazblue Continuum Shift Extend on the Vita and obviously have to use the Vita controls for that. I love the Vita buttons to bits. They're fantastic. Vita's d-pad blows the hell out of every other d-pad I've ever had the pleasure of touching.

On the PS3, I play with my Madcatz Arcade Fightstick Pro. I wanted a different stick, and my decision probably would have been based on what artwork the stick had, but the Pro was the only one that wasn't painful to track down. I'm much better on the PS3 controller than I am with the stick right now, but it's too comfortable to give up.

On the 360, I have one of those Marvel vs Capcom pads For UMvC3 and Extend action. It's leagues better than the regular 360 controller.

Thanks for all the Arcade Stick recommendations guys I really appreciate the input! I think I found the Cabinet I'm going to start building once my tax returns come in HERE.

Most of my friends have trouble playing on a pad due to charge shots, but I can't stand sticks so I'm content I guess.

I use this layout on pad to make it easier to charge:

X - C

O - C

Square - A

Triangle - B

L1 - A+B

L2 - A

R1 - D

R2 - B

R3 - Comm

I use Qanba's cheapest model because I'm a cheapskate. It's help up for over 2 years of constant play, but other people who try using it say the stick itself feels soft.

I use a default pad. For some reason a stick felt better to me on the last game but not on Full Boost.

After watching a bunch of streams and reading about the basics on here though, I'll likely change my buttons around to make charging more comfortable if not give the stick another chance.

I play a lot of fighting games and have always used a stick. I have a hori rap premium for home and a HRAP3 for when I go out.

This is like the only fighting game where I prefer my pad over my hori stick. I just swapped my switch target button from O to L1 which helps a lot for CS.

Friends tell me that doing well in Tallgeese pretty much requires a stick, so I'm sure there are a few suits where there's an advantage.
