i suggest you practice the tk motion by itself before trying to do it in combos, so just practice getting 2147D down by itself

Also by TK, we're meaning....?

I don't suppose anyone has any advice on getting around the new DID?

Obviously with the new dead spike inputting it feels different but when it fooks up my combos it begins to get on my nerves

Inputting tips is basically what I'm asking for because usual DP motion doesn't seem to be cutting it :/

(I play on Xbox pad btw)

First off what you're doing wrong is playing on Xbox pad. Jk

Try doing 6233 or 62363, It helps for most people I've noticed.

I've tried those but I don't seem to be getting anywhere

I've also tried this buffering the input method I've heard about e.g. 5B - 5C(input 5D) - Input DID and have had mixed results

plus that method means no raw DID and since its looking like his new best punishing tool ....:(

I just do 623D and hold the 3 now. Have to concentrate on not letting yourself get to 6 again before hitting D.

its definitely NOT the best punisher, 5c is far superior still

How so? Because it punishes more attacks? Or is it just flat out always better? Like punishing a CID on block, is 5C still better than FC DID somehow?

ch 5c flatout nets more dmg due to less time constraints and higher damage followup options available from the start

Regarding DID, it doesn't help Fistmaster's case at all but fwiw I changed my backup stick to a square gate(I usually use octos) and I get DID infinitely more consistently now, if anyone else is in that position.

I can get them much easier now on pad using the holding method

Ok Question regarding Ragna?: Is there any way buffer to 6A > 214D, I had someone suggest 2147D but that didn't work....and I'm on a pad so 7214D is pretty clunky and awkward to do, especially mid-combo...

what i do is 6a> input an empty jump like 8 or 9 and do the 214d fast and it will register as a tk works all the time for me but i can't seem to follow up it with micro dash 5b in mid screen so i always ended up dropping the combo those youtube vids making it easy

i'm doing the tk right and i just have to delay the micro dash 5b to connect it i just lack practice that's all

Anyone else finding it annoying that 5C whiffs alot on airborne opponents? I'm not talking late mid-combo, you can just delay the 5C, I'm talking about when you dash in with a 5B but the opponent is airborne at the last frame before 5B hits, so that the hitconfirm with 5C whiffs and the combo gets dropped.

As in like after the first part of hell's fang? or after 5b after landing a BS?

Yeah I can relate but I guess with time we'll just get used to the timing, practise seems to be the best way around

No no I mean 5B as a starter, you do 5C but because the opponent has jumped at the last frame the 5C whiffs because of its poor vertical hitbox.

Oh ok, unless its a counter hit I find it quite hard to follow up with 5C and usually end up using 6A or 5D instead, nowhere near as much damage but its more a "just to be safe online thing"

It was specifically nerfed so that that would happen.

So I had 100 meter and randomly decided to do tk bloodscythe for a cross up to get out of the corner, it got blocked but then I RC'd it and did air dash D Inferno Divider RC xx OD into win.

Am I the best yet?

Anyone else noticing that the first hit or frames or something of hells fang just seems to Ignore bursts? Its hilariously often when I play lol but ... explanations?

Yeah I noticed that too, I have already flew through several bursts lol
