Her combos were tight as hell, but the game's mechanics just made every match ever feel the same. And I kinda feel ya on the clap loop being removed. Carl can be REALLY creative, but there's no reason to be, esp against asshole characters like Kune that just throw stuff at you from fullscreen all day long. That and people srsly WTF at Carl's retarded mix-ups. Still, he neeeeeeeeds something more. Like a projectile. And better guard libra. And 12k health. Nirvana should have 9.5k. >_>

Yes, it's retarded, and you can fall back on the loop after burst, but seriously, Carl is straight garbage without it. Don't tell me he isn't. I'm sure it will be gone soon enough, so hopefully ASW buffed him a little. I mean, he has no combos, period. I find if funny that all he has are loops, and people complaincomplaincomplain. "DO Some real combos!" Yeah sure, here let me show you my best one. 5B, 6B, 623, 5B, j.A, j.B, dj.B, Allegretto. -_- Try that combo ftw. Yes, he's almost broken. Better luck next time.

Rachel dominates Carl. Hands down. I try to do that combo, but sometimes when I'm triyng to jump cancel, I end up doing 6B...and it only does like 1K of damage... Anyway, does anyone know when 6D will stun or not? For me, sometimes it stuns, sometimes it doesn't...

The fact that Rachel is good against Carl is only minor to be honest. With that said the throw loop is still dumb. Although I will miss it, in Continuum Shift. T_T

Where I come from they don't allow you. And be honest.... you have to be miles better than your local Rachels if your 'raping them'.

Purumatic Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 I read Zeero's post about how he jumped over Arakune's 2D by forward dashing and I decided to do a little investigation. Unfortunately, Carl can only hop over Arakune's 2D, nothing else from every other character. ;_; I found out the timing for it though. Basically, during the period the bug is flying to the ground, you can safely dash through and over the bug. Unfortunately it needs to be predicted, since dashing on reaction will most of time get you cursed. ;0 Though, if you can successfully bug hop, you can counter hit with a 2A->2B->3C and begin a clap trap.
