Bang astral heat can teleport!

When I learned this I nearly stopped moving

Although it does not on command teleport, he ofcourse needs to be attacked iin some way like a projectile.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCjTrVpq8FI

at 2:24 into the video. Bang shows him doing his astral heat, and once he gets hit by litchi super he teleports.

Btw this is also a combo video and it shows thing I haven't seen.

BUT wow on this discovery x.x

OH also theres this combo vid to

http://www.youtube.com/user/HaruShinobi#play/uploads/1/gYXoDV1MLHg

Had some interesting FRKZ combos near the end.

WTF at the end? I think i've actually heard about the glitch when someone was playing against Arakune in training mode or something and his DD went off. I would so do that stuff to friends just to be funny. I'm going to check em out first hand in training mode.

EDIT- Nevermind, I suck too hard getting Steel Rain to come out fast enough after 2D against Tager. The Bang vs Bang one isn't possible in a match cause it's 12 nails both times. I don't think the Tager one was and you would think landing a 2D in the corner would easy anyway so it could be possible to do in a match just to mess around. I guess I can't have fun.

Inspired by that video. Corner combo, tager/ragna 5a, 5b, 2b, 6c, j.d, v 5c, 6a, 7 jump j.a, j.b, j.623b. 3340 damage. It's a shame the standard 2b, 6c, j.b, j.c, j.623b followup does more on tager. That is one sweet looking combo. Edit: also, just found out you can tack a sj.623b onto the end of the 2d 4-seal combo on tager in place of the sj.c. Adds 62 damage and brings it to 3480 lol.

I believe it was a counter hit though from 2D

Edit: No wait im wrong...ya what is that guy doing?

Edit: Zeth your wrong about the bang vs bang. The first umbrella used 12 and the second the regular 0 nails that is 21 hits. If you look closely in the vid, when he sent the second umbrella it ended before the first umbrella finished.

Your right, the 2nd time vs Bang it is on zero for the 2nd one. But the 1st time vs Bang it looks like the nail count doesn't even go down or it at least resets while he is covering it up, so that's probably what I was looking at. Either way the Bang vs Bang scenarios are much less likely due to actually having the other Bang time their j.D that perfect you would have to get EXTREMELY lucky, and not use a single nail or Heat.

At least with the Tager it looked a little more possible, although I just don't know how the hell they are doing it. Since Tager has so many easy "big" damaging combos you probably could win a match using no nails and no heat if the person really sucked, and could easily land a 2D in the corner if that was the case. But there has to be some trick to him getting out Steel Rain that fast after 2D, I could barely get it out at all after it.

EDIT: And I did get the Bang one to work, but it's still not even practical or likely to be able to do in a match.

Was practicing the triple crash combo and I realized the second 2B doesn't need to be d.2B, you can hold right and after you take a little step, do the 2B. It works more dependably for me. So...j.D(CH or on airborne enemy)>2B>623B>w.2B>623B>d.6C>623B>2C lol w. for walk.

Has anyone everdone Nail storm followed by a daifunka in the corner? some epicly funny stuff....

Yeah, me and 10stars did awhile ago, 10stars made a vid about it. nails guard crush them into daifunka which resets and they block the rest of the hits except the last which does like over 3k by itself.

I havent tested it yet.

But have you tried a jump cancel from 2D into umbrella?

in the corner: CH 5D, j.6321463214D

yeah, i know, i know...

the easiest application of this is CH 2D anywhere 6321478963214D you technically dont need to jump as the 9 in the input will give you your jump as soon as the animation for 2D finishes. the game will recognize the astral heat with the 789 added in and its much easier to input this way

edit: is it known that you can 6B RC 5A j.623(B or C)? sorry its so hard to find 1 combo on that massive first post. or it might not be there cause it sucks but hey edit on my edit: oh i think this only works on cat 1s nvm

edit2: oh and can someone tell me what characters can be hit by the triple crash combo?

yeah, definitely have to update the character specifics, if you can compile a list of what needs to be changed I'd like to get the higher damage ones up.

My new Inferno Divider punishes: The one in that combo vid: 623B CH>d.6C>j.D>6A>623B>daifunka 5649 damage, 50 heat I was fooling around in training, looking for a good no heat version and found this flashy gem: 623B CH>d.6C>j.D>6A>623B>d.6C>623B>2C 4448 damage, no heat. You can punish Jin for his B or C dp on block with 623B>d.2B>623B>daifunka for 5106 damage, 50 heat. or with with 623B>d.2B>623B>d.6C>623B>2C for 3584 damage, no heat.

Posted

If you start the no-heat Dp punish on Jin with a 2b it boosts the damage to 3651. It lowers the damage if you tack on 2b and do super, lol.

I just love the 623B Counter Hits...they give you all the time in the world.

Something for characters that aren't hit by d.6C>623B 2D>j.D>2B>623B>d.6C>j.B>j.C 3295 damage and they can't air tech. Found it on Noel in training, will have to test some other chas.

Alright, now this is pissing me off. I can't seem to land that j.D after the j.b like ... 6c > 9 dash > j.b > 6 dash > j.d. Each time I try and do it, I either miss completely or they tech out of it before I can reach them with the j.d, any tips?

Posted

Serge when you hit j.b just hold 6 and tap j.d SLIGHTLY after j.b, if you pause it too long its a free tech, if you do it too early it will whiff.
