I don't see a cut-off date for pre-registration on the site, or on the first post so is Nov 1 too late to pre-register? I don't want to fight any of my local players 1st round if I can avoid it. Looks like the cut-off is one week before NEC. I already registered but only signed up for Persona, is it still possible to pre-reg for GG/BB? No. You can only sign-up for games at the door after you already pre-registered online.

To book your room please contact the Reservations Departments at 610-521-9600 and ask to make a reservations for NEC Philly. Prices: $99 plus tax for Single $109 plus tax for Double $119 plus tax for triple $129 plus tax for Quad(number of people in room) lol if you tell that you fault lol. Singles for certain side games or just teams, etc? I would have been down for 2v2 for sure, but definitely respect and agree with those concerns. I'm hoping Xrd will be big enough to warrant multiple large events for teams/singles.

Going to make it rain waifu dollars this NEC It's been a couple of years since I went and I can't remember, what are you guys usually doing on Friday night? Singles for certain side games or just teams, etc? I've only researched the last 2 NECs but for the last 2 NECs, Friday night was usually an event at the Copa. Not sure what happens there since I wasn't there but I think last year was just casuals. 2012 NEC had Souji and Kirisame vs The World stuff I believe. Not sure what the plan is this year though.

St1ckBuG Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 The ballroom we're setting up in will have Marvel in it on Friday, so unless the other ballroom allows for casual setups on Friday then no, there won't be any setups for our games on Friday. Last year no one had any problems finding games in the hotel on Friday (that I'm aware of) and it's the exact same situation. The Copa is not happening this year because it's too small of a venue. As far as playing the JP go: I'm not even 100% sure what their schedules are, so I can't speak to setting anything up with them.

With 6 anime games at NEC this year (7 if we're counting +R and Xrd as different games), we could've used the extra night to do more stuff. Oh well. It can't be helped. C'est la vie. Guess I'll be watching TV and going over matchup notes in my hotel room on Friday night. Or maybe I should actually do the normal person thing and go do some sightseeing...yeah, that's probably not going to happen, lol.

As much as I like hotel room casuals, if we have an opportunity to use a ballroom I think it would be much more convenient. I can provide at least one setup.
