Spirit Juice Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 I thought Jeff was dead. I never see him post anywhere anymore.
k_e_i_k_u_n_1_7 Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 hi i'm new here! during dragon install, you may do this pressure string: 6k 2d vv lol
thebrassthief Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 DI invulnerability + DI's HardSlash VV with x2 dizzy modifier = lolz http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKlYRFImafE Wow...
AlterGenesis Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 Do Dragon Install and when you're doing it scream: "OH YEAHHHHHHHHHH!" then start mashing hardcore. You'll scare the flying fuck out of your opponent.
YaR 1030 Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 more or less yea, i use to spam GunFlame during Red flashy mode too
Shobes Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 I do dragon install and yell "Over 9000!!!" well... I do in my head at least.
burningvigor Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 run up trip to Bandit revolver loop.. if blocked - gunflame frc start over in the mixup run up throw run up VOLCANIC VIPER People tend to not fall for the run up throw in DI mode since most people expect it. I had a bit of success just running up doing a volcanic viper though. But i hardly ever use it since slash cause you get dizzied in 2 hits. Its a joke move.. use it when they got no life left and your positive you wont fuck it up. But even then.... Theres nothing more embarassing than doing a DI when you're winning only to lose cause they fucked you up. I think its more embarassing than missing an IK against aba. And whats with his air S getting all helicopter fast. Wish that worked with his air D.
M-HAVOK Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Dragon install = super kool looking taunt type thingy
Criminalbaby Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 i dunno, dragon install is definitely a psycologic move on your opponent. it can either help you or hinder you, really depends how the other person reacts to the dragoninstall. damn straight!
Metal Sonic Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Dragoon Install? NOT USE. PERIOD. Next Thread? XD
Unimportant Guy Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 If DI had the 10 sec time limit without penalties after use and untech time on HS to combo repeatedly over and over like it had in GGX, The new properties to GF, VV*, and BR from GGXX onward, and took more than a single knockdown to deactivate, tension gain from / and AC, and the air OD from GGI's K.Sol, that would be a truly scary DI. Edit: *I think Sol always had this change to his VV even back to GGX, can't remember.

Scary and broken! Come on, it's just a Overdrive, not a Obliteration Mode!
Bloodcrave Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 let's just hope they really buff DI in the next gg installment instead of making another version of DI which took 5376509723640192845 minutes to activate >_<
excelence Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 nah... give me Unblockable DI Tyrant Wave Omega with IK built in like Hos :D
Hideki Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 For desperate situations, I guess is worth to try DI from a safe distace, and just dash in to Wild Fang (they´re too damn scared for try anything normally), but is just for legendary come backs. I never waste my tension on this.
Unimportant Guy Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 It's probably Savage Fang. Hos's SF lvl 1 looks exactly like DI GF, because it's the same animation.
Doomscyther Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Scream and yell "Get READY FOR THE FIERY DRAGON PUNCH!!!". Gets them every time.
excelence Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 never play serious Sol on ^C but on Slash i've been pull out several come back with DI -> VV at critical state and won the match :D
Cyringohn Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Dragon Install is wasted if you don't violently run into a Faust bomb and die from it. DRAGON INSTAAAAAAALL RUN RUN RUN "SLASH!"
taraction Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Dragon Install is wasted if you don't violently run into a Faust bomb and die from it. DRAGON INSTAAAAAAALL RUN RUN RUN "SLASH!" this
Fullforcefafnir Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 I almost never use it, it's a psycological move for sure, but that means the one you play against must know that you almost never use it.
Alric Sanosake Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 I concur with Fafnir. I barely use it, Tyrant Rave is good too. I see it as a move that your opponent should never see coming, and truly, only if you are in a fix.
