PC Cloud based gaming service out of Japan GameNow have recently announced that effective 7/9/14; Guilty Gear XX #Reload and Guilty Gear Isuka will be available for purchase and play.

GameNow runs off of a monthly subscription, and for at the very least these 2 games are set at 450 yen (~$5.00 USD). Check the jump for more info regarding these two nostalgic titles, as well as the cloud based service model!

This marks the first time that an Arcsys game is available to play via a streaming media service. To be expected, delay and framerate issues aside, this release may play as a precursor to what we may be seeing in the near future from Sony's own much touted, much praised, soon to be upon us Playstation Now game streaming service; which is scheduled to be available this coming fall across the PS3, PS4, PS Vita, and select Sony brand televisions.

Here are some details about the GameNow service regarding these two fan-favorite titles:

Guilty Gear XX #Reload
Includes all of the features present in the initial Playstation 2 version of the game including Robo-Ky.
Also includes a story mode arc that was not in the Playstaion 2 version.
Includes a special short movie as an appreciation to fans.

Guilty Gear Isuka
Contains all features from the Arcade and Playstation 2 versions of the game including:
4 player simultaneous battle
2 player simultaneous training mode
Robo-Ky MKII edit
Color edit for all characters.

As of now there is no information whether these titles will be appearing outside of Japan in any shape or form, or whether PC's running in territories outside of Japan can access the streaming service. Stay tuned for more details regarding this as they come in.

Good news today for Guilty Gear fans and those looking/speculating to who the next new brawler to grace the game would be ahead of the console release! Gaming new site Famitsu has gone live with a quick preview of the newest fighter in GGXrd; Dizzy and Ky's son Sin Kiske. Hit the jump for more info on Sin's unique play style and some incredibly beautiful images.

Sin Kiske

True to his GG2: Overture iteration, Sin will brandish a flagpole as a weapon as he does battle, and interestingly enough will sport a unique gauge mechanic named "Full Stomach".
Utilization of his "Full Stomach" mechanic will enable Sin to perform and chain multiple special moves directly into one another. Use of his "Full Stomach" meter will deplete it, and in turn Sin players will need to recharge it manually by "eating" during the heat of battle.

As of now there is no news as yet to whether Sin will appear solely in the console version of the game, in the arcade version first, or whether we will see a simultaneous release across both mediums. The Playstation 3 / Playstation 4 cross-play compatible console version is on schedule to release some time this coming fall.

As more information and/or gameplay vids become available; Dustloop will keep this post updated as any new news comes in. In the meantime, enjoy these hi-res screenshots of the new playable character!

Dustloop member Horokei has made a Youtube video/tutorial detailing a new technique in GGAC+R which will option select block and defensive throw/break within a couple of frames of each other.

It also goes over using "1 frame jump" to insert a chicken guard into the OS.
