The high stakes Guilty Gear tournament everyone has been waiting for, Guilty Madness, is finally here! The event is starting today at 5pm EST and will be streamed by Team Sp00ky! You can check it out at http://twitch.tv/teamsp00ky.

The tournament is being hosted at Next Level (4013 8th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY). Entry fee will be $25 with a usual venue of $10, with the addition of a $500 POT BONUS thrown in by DaiAndOh, an extra $100 POT BONUS thanks to Brokentier, an additional $177 POT BONUS by Light Nazgul, and a $111 POT BONUS from Sogos (unban him pls!) making a total of $888!

Rounds will be 2/3, and ALL matches will be 3/5. Double elimination, on 360. Of course, no EX/Shadow/Gold characters, and no Kliff and Justice.

The official Blazblue Japanese website has just posted that Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma will be releasing in arcades on November 21st for the NesicaxLive platform. Only one week to go till release and we all get to see the changes in action. Better go subscribe to Jourdal and Pktazn if you haven't yet for that video goodness when footage starts to drop!

The shocker of today was in this week's issue of Famitsu. A new playable character, Izayoi, was shown which is the true form of Tsubaki Yayoi. Hopefully Arc System Works releases a trailer soon to show her shiny armor off.

GGAC+ is now available on JP PSN!

The game costs 1500¥ and is available in the Japanese Playstation Network Store. Total file size of the download is 1092mb. As of this article the game isn't showing on the front page of the store. If you search for "guilty" you'll find it. If you need JP PSN cards to purchase it then we recommend checking out http://www.japan-codes.com/ or http://www.play-asia.com/ to buy digital codes.

If you are worried of the language barrier in the JP release don't be. Main menu, majority of the Options menu, Button Config, and Training Mode menu is all in English.

The game costs 1200 MSP and is out for Japan, America, and Europe on the XBox Marketplace.

Playstation players will have to wait about a week.

No word on when it gets patched for +R.

Understanding the 1f Jump

October 24, 2012 is quickly approaching, and with it the Playstation Network and Xbox Live release of Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core+ is nearly upon us, of course this is merely a preface for the newly tuned Accent Core+R! But as great of a game as Guilty Gear is, it can also be a very complex one, and while veterans have spent years mastering these tricks and tactics, a whole new generation of players are coming in blind. Luckily this knowledge can be passed on and hopefully aide up and comers!

Recently posters have been debating on exactly what a "1 Frame Jump" is and it's applications, and thanks to poster Horokei we have an excellent video which shows and explains the mechanic in-depth. Although it's shown using #Reload the premise is still prevalent and existent in Accent Core, see the video below:
