  1. it always removed otg state on hit. i'ts just a matter of hitting them before they land and go back into otg state. only difference now is that there's a frc
  2. ok, here's my tentative schedule: i put gg first since my guess is that it will likely have less entrants and bb matches are slower than gg's. this way if bb does fall behind it doesn't impact the schedule at all. Tentative Schedule Saturday: Signups end at noon, pools will be posted at 12:30 gg pools start at 1:00 1:00 - 2:30 pools 1 & 2 2:30 - 4:00 pools 3 & 4 4:00 - 5:30 top 8 bb pools start at 5:30 5:30 - 7:00 pools 1 & 2 7:00 - 8:30 pools 3 & 4 8:30 - 10:00 top 8

  4. yes, i believe having it on saturday would be best. assuming we have 60something per game and 8 setups, i think we'll be able to get through both games in one day. we might have to go two days if it doesn't work out schedule-wise though! as far as schedule, iirc last year we had 4 setups per pool, 80 total entrants, and each pool was scheduled for 90 minutes. i think we can get away with similar numbers this year since i expect there to be a bit of dropoff in attendance (probably 60something?). i'll be doing some rsearch today and post up soon! logichole, a second stream would be great, but we won't have any bandwidth to stream on unless you have access to a portable 4g card or something... let me know your plans asap. oh and at least bring the tv+ps3+games, we'll probably use it!
  5. i'd want them to add the hitstun/untech timer like in p4arena too. sadly bbcp didn't have it, so who knows if xrd will too. acr did add a few hud niceities: it shows which hit was invalid in combos, there's a timer under the stagger bar, and your portrait flashes red when approaching dizzy state.

  9. i wonder what utility his supers will have? since it's really easy to react to supers with super flash buffer, will terumi's supers be relegated to combo enders? or maybe some of his supers will be 0F after super flash?
  10. added good question. if this were an official tournament, i would say we should stick with vanilla ac, but since it's a side tournament, i think acr would be more fun for everyone if it were available.
  11. all this talk about voice actors remind me that dc douglas (the voice of wesker) did mention he was voicing someone in bbcp a few months back... did he not do the voice work yet? i assume he did since i doubt he'd know months in advance he's doing a role as low profile as a fighting game character. that would mean the script was complete a few months back... i wonder what's the holdup?

  13. actually can you test if RC run is in the game like p4a? hold 6 or 3 while doing a ground RC and you should automatically run forward. try it with backdash or air dashes too!

  16. whew, finally got a moment to come in here and say thank you guys for running a great tournament. i had lots of fun and my only regret is not getting to play everyone more. lots of fun times were had at foonzo, the hotel room, and everywhere else around the city. i kinda wish i took a photo of the gi joe window to share with everyone haha. and kaeru is right, foonzo is pretty special and you shouldn't take it for granted. treat her well! also special shoutouts to derq, brice, and pochp for being my tour guides around the city

  18. just try it, it's not htat hard really. look at other ppl's pages, copy paste, and replace their values with tager values... it's really not that hard. if you mess up it's easy to undo.

  20. that problem (and solution) exists in extend: delay the 623C to combo on certain characters. iirc in extend you need to delay on: tager, valk, makoto, relius, rachel (sometimes). i imagine you'll have to do the same in cp.

  22. i think it's best to exercise caution and assume it's not a bot for now since it doesn't have any spam links and actually refers to bb/gg stuff, albeit incoherently... also the ip address is in the usa as opposed to most other spambots
