B+D does seem like a universal dp option for everyone, tho it's not always a dp, i believe chie's is a catch counter. i don't know if they're all active on frame 1, but in either case they're all reversal actions, which is one thing i don't like about this game (the other being free 50% for being low on life).

guess that means we either keep hosting at ppl's houses our we move our meetup dates. either is fine with me tbh, i should warn that weekend are the times i usually head up to la and whatnot. if we do need to move it due to space issues, i recommend another weeknight -

i don't know if it's possible, but can you draw stuff on screen ala john madden/ every sportscaster ever? that'd be helpful for visualizing angles of approach and whatnot. also, i'm totally down to join in on one of these huey

oh, don't worry about it too much. if it works then good enough i suppose. it will eventually be replaced with something that doesn't use escape characters anyway

yes, this is a known bug with the vbulletin software: this problem exists even in the default skin. i once tried to fix this myself, but didn't get very far. maybe a software patch down the line will fix this issue, but for now htere's not much i can do.

if you want a funny useless combo you can do: standing opponent 2C fatal > j.2C > j.C > (run up 5C > j.2C > j.C)x3 but what are the odds youre going ot get a 2c fatal right next to the opponent standing? probably never. it also doens't do much damage or anything, it does takes up time and build meter i suppose also, i was experimenting with 6C and the results are pretty good, you can get 4k or so with 25% heat midscreen (actually maybe even a little further than that) if you can tag them with 214D. basically, on non-counterhit 6C > dash cancel > j.C > 214D > corner combo on counterhit 6C > dash cancel 214D > corner combo also works too if you're close enough 6C > 623B > corner combo if you're a bit too far, run up 3C > 214A > combo it's kinda hard to explain the positioning, but the basic idea is to just get them on the same horizontal plane as you. i recommend ppl go into training mode and learn it: it's worth it to get 6C as a useful anti jump tool again

ppl have been finding sprites for them and adding them themselves; you can probably find them all in zepp museum. i have them all somehwere on my comp. i made a few bb char's pages since no one was working on them gg has a problem in that i couldn't find any ggac sprite rips, just slash ones. hence i couldn't add stuff like ky's new 6H and lightning strike

i moved the frame data there since it should be easier to maintain in the future if corrections need to be made or if the format should be changed. the goal of the wiki is to move the character guides and whatnot there in a format that is not intimidating for newbies who don't want to navigate the forums as well as being easier for everyone to maintain since it's generally easier to edit a wiki than to edit html. we're trying to keep the format consistent between characters to make it easier to read, but suggestions are welcomed. i'm eventually going to remove the link to the frame data section since it will be rendered redundant.

crazy, watermelonz, was it one of those guys from winter game fest? also, if you guys want to stay late, i don't think any of us would mind driving you guys back to campus, i know i drove glod back to sdsu once before he got a car. getting there is another matter though. -

nah, i mashed it for about 30 min after everyone left, that's about it. also, here's some of my thoughts after last night's session: you mash anytime you're scared. everytime i have you in the corner, i can expect you to desperately hit a button, and i'm just gonna counter with a dp or bait. next time you're scared, TRY BLOCKING. also, use counter assaults, they're good (and that's something i need to work on as well).
