when i did these, i got swamped by tons of people who kept asking for renames. eventually i just stopped because i felt like i was wasting my time doing something so superficially unimportant. so to answer your question, no i'm not doing them anymore

This isn't a thread to complain about EVO, it's a thread aimed at improving our tournament turnout to either make our community EVO worthy or not. Don't come into this thread to post your story, or complain. it's a thread to generate ideas on how we can get more people to attend majors by either making our own 'EVO', talking to an existing major and make that our 'EVO', or just keep going to EVO and hype up a side event.

just be warned that some tourneys ban wireless controllers i can show up at like... 6 or 7? i dunno i need to pick up my friend from teh airport after work so i will be delayed.

stick, let me just say that you have an ally in me. i'm willing to fly to another major in addition to evo this year. depending on where it is, i might not be able to carry equipment (since i'd be flying), but i'll help buy equipment or anything if needed.

ic, i've uploaded them to the wiki and they look fine, so no worries. i also tried to fix the tao ones i made and i think they came out okay. i'll probably stop making these pages since i need to get the full cs2 frame data on there so it's easier to change when extend data comes out

my thought was to keep the administrative stuff out of the way for hte most part. that's why i kept it at the bottom. why do you think it hsould be higher? as for colors... maybe someday if i have any spare time (yeah right). if anyone out there has experience in changing wiki skin stuff (probably just css and knowing what exact values to change), please pm me.

are you talking about gilman parking structure or another one? my ucsd geography ended at around 2006 when i graduated. as for alternative hosting locations... yeah i honestly never thought having too many ppl would be an issue we'd face but i think i can ask a friend about where they host tournaments in sd. no idea about cost/availability though...

the wiki has been in discussion in the staff forums since early december. why would a staff member wait so long to offer up any criticism about it and not even the the thread about the wiki that's in the staff forums? to me that's pretty insulting. as a result i snapped back a bit. i apologize for letting my emotions get the better of me. also how did i shoot him down? believe it or dont but i actually linked to his suggestions in the wiki thread and ppl are discussing it now. if you ahve any suggestions, please share.

i do want to go, but since it's sunday night (and i live in san diego), i can't really make it. maybe i'll just show up for casuals for a weekend.

i haven't seen anyone else do it, but it seems like the best thing to do off CH 5C midscreen since you can do a full combo and still ahve your freeze left

how did you guys make hte effects blend in? i'm trying to do it for jin right now and realized i ahve no idea how to do this stuff in photoshop is it just effect layer transparency XX%?
