rr pools seeded by skill is probably the best standard but it takes so much time that unless you have the resources of evo (or manage to somehow run ECC), it's really hard to make work at a major. how did ECC manage pooled brackets again? seriously. they ran like 3s, ggxx, marvel all in pools in ONE DAY with other tournies going on wtf.

this is what i implied, but if someone say, wins their first match, when 2nd row is done besides them (and any pending DQs for a no show), you DQ them then, after top 8, you have NO EXCUSE besides playing another game for not being there though.

being late for a tournament shouldn't cause a fee if the person is traveling long distances unless its basically nec, fr or evo wheres its practically implied you will be in a hotel for long distance travelers. dqing should happen instantly if the entire vertical row in their bracket has finished without them showing up, only exception i would make is its said that they have to leave for a specific reason (food is a viable reason, but only for like 45-60 minutes tops). regional seeding is a must, skill seeding/byes, dont matter, luck of the draw. obviously if its a regional tournament, who gives a damn.

haha pretty much the reason i was losing to milla before was because i couldnt block if i see haircar on a millia with tension i just high block because they love to whore the frc into instant overhead :X (and ive never seen a situation where they haircar and im under disc...) and yeah, eddie is all blocking. and like, dont block based on his position (crouching/standing) because he can just K you lol

it only works on meaty slidehead afaik and p reed those are like... really basic combos and they dont really start off something that useful... and its always better to use regular heat without extend unless it will kill them. probably listed but, the two best anti-backdash combos are: S 2S Heat (will catch them in the air). (corner) 6HS, Hammerfall FRC, followup char specific, but 2S Heat always works afaik (you can do 2S 2H Heavenly for something like 75-90% life on most chars), this will make people regret thinking corner bd is a good option lol you can hitconfirm them both pretty easily, and just do hammerbreak if they are blocked.

just as he throws them from his arms. think like, immediately as he doesnt hold them anymore as the FRC point. turn on input display in training mode, when the white flash happens, thast the FRC point.

its only worth it if: they cant get out of them (in terms of execution) they dont have burst/meter and have a bad reversal the reward is much higher than the risk (you have a huge life/tension lead, burst)

APB is much better at burst baiting (you can block while jumping), better as a corner combo (since you can continue it easier) and overall will do more damage in the right circumstances. HPB can combo off stuff you cant continue with APB and is an ok anti-air (just being fast is its only use, without burst lots of people will be dead in the water).

IMO the mixup guide is pretty outdated, you should really add anti-escape mechanisms (BD, Jump out, reversals), the power of 6K, and proper offensive strings, and burst baiting tactics.
