  1. uhhh changing block is instant air dashes..... end when they end (im not sure if they're cancelable though). its a dash, as soon as you recover from it you can do whatever, the entire point of a dash is you can do nothing for a certain amount of frames since it moves you someplace faster. iad should be the same as just a regular air dash just however many frames it takes from jump to the first possible IAD time. you're basically asking a character specific question. it will be much easier to block an IAD Dust from faust than it would be an IAD P from Jam. so to answer your question in a nutshell: unless your reaction time sucks, you can react, you're looking way too deep into the matter, i dont think its possible to do an overhead faster than 11 frames which is roughly the average human reaction time is.

  5. a regular throw is still safer though, no HOS should actually do that.
  6. I have a good use for air buster in a combo video but its so hilariously worthless I don't want to spoil it. Someone message me if they want to use it. It's got a gimmicky use in match but its so gimmicky don't bother you basically need to be absolutely psychic. Edit: lol may is immune to slidehead for a tiny part of her standing animation cool

  10. can you use paragraphs please, grammar and stuff is livable and everything but it looks like one big sentence! I expected FAB to be some untouchable juggernaut, like 175 winstreak good unless another super top player shows up.
  11. How large is the window between Slidehead Hit and Slidehead Earthquake, in frames, 2? The frame data page says 2(2)1 which is incomprehensible. Does that mean it's active for 2 frames, then 2 earthquake frames, then 1 regular hit frame or something? I'm trying to learn the timing for meaty earthquake :X

  15. thumb on p, index on k,middle on s, ring on hs, use ring for dust as well, hit both d and hs with my ring finger for bursting. thats how i do it anyway, just do whatever comes naturally to you.

  18. im positive it works on everyone, especially ky and jam, since they fall slower the timing should be easier (unless their falling hitboxes are really weird)
  19. roman.canceL, buy a stick from pete (hahano), no shipping (since you're in jersey, he drives into jersey occasionally to play 3s/gg with me and my friends) and itll be 80 dollars cheaper than byrdo, and they're very nice. also i know him and hes a cool guy!!! i'd do it ASAP since hes going to jack up the price in a few weeks though. plus byrdo is sold out of sticks lol. put in your order now if want it though, since he usually takes new orders at the end of each month and his orders pile up before then. it will also mean you pay his dirt cheap price.
  20. Mostly: His Gun Blaze bullshit is annoying, you really really really can't jump in on him from anywhere or he scores a free CH. The only exception is if you nail a knockdown. Jump punches are LAME, the only way I think you can cleanly beat his jump spam P game is to get him to double jump, which means any pressure string he throws at you will (likely) eat Judge gauntlet (he can probably still Storm Viper though). He can't slut run away charge, it's incredibly difficult for him to do so without you nailing a slide head, of course he can be smart about it and you're kind of fucked. Remember that 6HS loses to Gun Blaze pretty clean, I think 2S bites it to Gun Blaze too. 6P kind of fucks OS up bad, in theory anyway, his best attack options are aerial and his best options trade at best to 6P. Be careful at around mid-ish range if he has a high charge level and 50% tension, usually a mistake will bite it to a 100% safe overdrive. Those are my general thoughts on the matchup, I've never played a great OS though. My best advice is probably try to learn what to IB before he lands and he bites Buster. I don't think his air attacks last for a long time either so BDs should be pretty safe vs his jump in game.
  21. Anything that's like -2 he can generally IB for free buster.
  22. his uppercut is only upperbody in slash and ac iirc, so stick to lows that will trade, or block and own him with a pot buster. proper slide head timing will also beat it clean. also, you need to work for space, if he's keeping you out like that, keep working your way in, and throw in a slide head to keeping him scared.
  23. Just jump and FD to get in on Axl, not much if he can do. If he tries to meet you in the air, and he's really close, he's probably just gonna air throw you to counter all the jump ins. Axl is a really average character in every respect, so you basically fuck him up in a mid to close range scenario. If he's IADing your Slide Heads, don't be nearly as predictable with them. Mixup with a 6K here and there and AA him to death. He bites it really fast off a CH 6P. Also, FDB after he sweeps, which completely destroys one of his most important pressure strings. Remember to just walk forward a lot too, you gain a lot of tension from walking as Potemkin, which can be extremely useful if you jump in. Axl also has no way of escaping a properly timed Slide Head on wakeup AFAIK, but he might be able to do crossup move, reversal backdash or reversal jump (I think his ground invul from dust has startup) Axl also has PISS poor damage options from his non-anti-air pokes. Walking forward and blocking a lot will not only give you a lot of tension, but deny him a lot of combo options. Oh and remember, if he EVER jumps, his hittable box during his pokes is HUUUUUUUGE, you can just 6P Heat/Heavenly him to death if he makes a bad move in the air.
  24. to make it easier im sure you could make the emotes ~3 and ~P or something, i don't think tidles are used for anything useful. I think emotes can be done with out the colons but I'm unsure. edit: and i way way prefer the 15 pixel versions, they fit much better into paragraphs.
