Uh just to randomly post this since i posted it on srk and it was a good idea: This might be hard to implement but how about a (code)(/code) like bracket that turns every number and letter into it's corresponding image. like (in)632146P(/in) would display potemkin buster in images. i found it horrifically difficult to do long commands as emotes making them pretty pointless.
  3. because its escapable regardless it doesnt matter that much because you can throw away tension on the dumbest shit anyway since you gain it so fast not really a huge weakness so ill get rid of it did you not notice good potemkins barely unblockable anymore? its beacuse everyone japan can escape it already.

POTEMKIN: PROS - Has Potemkin Buster Has Air Potemkin Buster (it is Potemkin Buster in the air) Has really hard to escape unblockable setups Does a lot of damage Does a lot of stun High defense (High guts rating and highest natural defense) Best backdash in the game A very varied mixup game, with lots of mixups for different ranges (Slide head, pot buster, 6k, dust, 2D, 6HS) Long pokes Heavenly Potemkin Buster (it's Potemkin Buster but sends you, to heaven!) A variety of counter moves for various situations (FDB, Heat, Judge Gauntlet, Slide Head, Megafist, Hammerfall) Gains assshits of tension in a matter of seconds. Coolest instant kill He falls really fast (cannot be juggled in ways others can be) Good, if somewhat slow anti-airs (Heat, 6P, heavenly, 2hs, backdash) CONS - Slow (Has no good answer to frame traps besides sitting there and poor mobility) Big (Combos work on him that don't work on others, and he can be pressured in ways others cant be) Only 2 decent reversals His pokes, while good, are easy to punish since he has no weapon. Requires above average tension usage for sometimes negligable or no benefits

I played Therapist all day Unblockables don't work on Baiken, HOWEVER, if she tries to escape using the aerial crossup counter, if you're using something like 6HS -> Slidehead, you can bait the crossup with 6HS -> Heat or Heavenly, if she does any other ones, just use PB. Tatami mats will fuck you up, and they are hard to FDB properly, so just sit tight. Remember that she basically can't run at you, which fucks up a lot of her mixup game, considering her frame traps can basically be blocked. Slide head is a pretty bad move to use in most cases, the only time you will want to use it is if you've conditioned her not to alpha counter out of 6HS or giganter setups. Backdash is really useful as long as she doesn't do a deep tatami mat. If she doesn't open with an early tatami mat in her jump, you can usually hit her with a Slash. She also has very few options out of a 6HS, if shes aerial or grounded, if you've got a quick finger. Always block in the air, she has a superior air game unless she doesn't meet you in the jump, in which case she has bad vertical attacks besides youzansen, you can usually nail a j.S for a free combo. She eats heat for free when close, Baiken will really want to jump since most of her ground options fucking suck total ass. Remember that taking a few minor risks isnt too bad, because you've got the defense AND offense advantage in the matchup, just not the maneuverability and speed. Frame traps are pretty poor on Pot without a good overhead or command grab, so that strength goes out the window, since he has no reason to try and break out of lockdown. oh and a smart baiken will open okizeme with tatamis on you, if shes not shes stupid and rape her with bd pot buster. im positive baikens crossup guard break CANNOT be punished if you do a slidehead at "the right time". its rather positioning based as well.

  9. lol pot buster setups are like, only useful if you don't have 60% tension or you're fighting OS after you get a slide head combo off or your opponent is immensely retarded and does something really punishable.

  13. words is a good icon i mostly use it to quote large quantities of text and dont like putting "stuff" or "topic pertaining to words said" and :words: is also awesome. also im not sure how recent this is but the lack of a lot of things in the sidebar is awesome, no posts or reg dates is a step in the right direction.
  14. i think you can still reversal backdash out of 6HS slidehead, im not sure if you need to ib it or not. oh wow beaten but whatever, its bound to fuck them up sometimes. but you can technically mix up with 6HS frc and if they attempt to ib it you can pot buster basically since they'll fuck it up there's all sorts of dumb stuff like that now. pot is hella good now. do you mean K, not 2k? that might be why you think that would work but it actually doesn't.
  15. apparently all the rage is on wakeup Giganter, let opponent block, slidehead pretty much unblockable garunteed damage, and repeats into itself. potemkin is bearing more and more resemblance to urien... a frame trap is basically attacking the opponent with a string of hits and leaving a TINY gap so they try and attack, but the game is so small that almost or no attack at all can activate. so for example with sol you just spam 2p a whole lot, then a split second later 2k 6p, this is a hitconfirm that also allows sol to go back into a block string. potemkin really doesnt have any frame traps.

  18. the time between each c.S would be enough to escape and if you attempted to potemkin buster they'd have somewhere in the range of at least 10 frames to escape or more.

Worked great for me :] I know it's a bit of effort but it's worth it for a shitload of videos I swear! Plus it saves bandwidth from strokethebigtree and that site going down would suck!   21. im not seeing that at all but im only watching the potemkin ones :< the slide head mixup was figured out in like one day. the one?s playing are just really solid (not necessarily good but most of their crap has been figured out already it seems).

(seems to have MUCH faster recovery?) FRCs: Potemkin Buster FRC (allows midscreen combos) Property Changes: cr.S pulls in on hit/block. Longer Pot Buster Recovery (must frc for combos now) 6HS a Level 6 Move (Brand new level of move!) You can juggle off an OTGed opponent from Slide Head j.S ground bounces on CH FDB now knocks opponent to wall on CH. Heat now drops opponent in place, Extend pushes them back in exchange for more damage. Although this isn't entirely new, Potemkin's Aegis Reflector works like Urien's now, unblockables and stuff! Yay! If you do a Giganter then slide head on a downed character, they have to reversal out of it or take garunteed damage, and even certain reversals will get hit by the shield. Combos: 2S -> 2HS Possible 2HS -> Giganter Possible Megafist and K launch from Slide Head OTG State, 2S possible after both. Air Pot Buster doesn't cancel from any air attacks, so you have to JC into it if you're in an air combo? You can combo midscreen on all? characters with Pot Buster FRC, you can no longer combo after Pot Buster in corner. Aerial Pot Buster allows you to combo if you are facing the corner.
