or to get DP/720. Having no hole there is optimal, it makes her unsafe drive safer to exit, plus if u want a hole, u can always make it urself by just delaying the d.5B. So u can get a hole "if u want", rather than "mandatory", being able to choose is always better.

i watched the whole darn thing waiting for the j.4D too 5C is jump cancellable on hit, so the gattling serves so u can jump cancel out of a 2C (not literally, but if u hit with 2C, u should be in range to follow-up with 5C). So now on a standing opponent, u can do 5C->2C->5C to add a minuscule bit of extra damage to what she can do on standing opponents. Other than that (which isnt much at all, completely negligible), its not useful, because hitting with 2C is not exactly something that happens even remotely often. If they changed 5C to be jump cancellable on block though and made her have an overhead that made others at least try to take noel seriously, the gattling could get some use.

there's also the probability it may just be the video. specially if all her moves looked faster. We can't rly tell until we get some comments from the people actually playing it, would be hella nice if they rly were faster though

it does bluebeat in CS, it comboes in loktests so far though, only way to combo off 22D mid-screen now according to the comments from loktest i've read.

judging by the positioning and move changes, they are most probably 22D, then 236D, and some other (can't tell what goes before it, so i can't tell what it is).

am i the only 1 that actually expected the changes to be of this magnitude? O_o not all characters need full relearning though so far. Some like tsubaki took a pretty big change, but so far arakune sounds exactly the same, except he deals less damage and gets less curse on block. Could change though, would be pretty lol worthy if they change all the characters drastically by the end of the loketests. Btw, the comment on a possible change to tager's collider was removed from the first post, was it because there was no real change or a temporary removal till we know what the change actually is?

it is only "buff" **to her normals** that we have noted, i'm perfectly aware that there's probably other stuff to be figured out, and even if there isn't, its still loketest 1, there's still room for more change, i never denied that. I don't see how d.6C>d.5B fits into what i was saying though. and the opponent does have a reason to block low, 3C into easy 4k or 5k in corner, and if they keep this change, 2C hit guaranteeing a jump cancel is another reason to block low. Even if she didnt have her 3C dmg and that new change, why would u block high and take the low dmg when you know u can just block low and react to her silly overhead and not take any dmg at all?

my main point is: why would they block high? she has nothing to really scare them into blocking high outside of drive, then can block low, react to 6B and go back to low again. Not saying its completely and utterly useless, u'll probably get a 2C hit at some point and having the ability to gattling into 5C is nice to have, but it just seems silly that the only buff they gave her in the area she truly is severely lacking (normals), is just a silly gattling that is most probably not going to get enough use to make it THAT useful. We'll just have to wait and see what they do on future loktests >_>

2C->5C is pretty lol worthy. Now i will be able to jump cancel to continue pressure after all those naked 2Cs i hit all the .......... oh wait. i'm rly curious about j.4D though, i can't help but think that "u can't even see her falling" sounds a bit exaggerated

1) 2C>5C is a pretty useless gattling, sure, 5C is jc on hit, but really, hitting people with 2C is even harder than hitting them with 5C to begin with. 3) one her only couple of decent tools gets nerfed, and its most helpful quality is the one to get the hit 2) is now useful? ok so it can make for fake/true cross-up mixups probably, u can't even see her falling....... I don't know nerf or buff, depends massively on how good j.4D is now. If it's as good as it sounds in that quote that you cant even see her falling, then she has an actual mix-up now, but her main issue is still there, her normals are still fucking terrible. ASW is still ignoring the fact that decent players dont actually feel like being in a state where u can't fucking block 90% of the time, it's like they really want her gone from the tournament scene, forever bound to the console-only players who find it actually fun to just spam 1 button and rely on lag. I see her remaining to be just as retarded as she is now, if not even more retarded, largely depending on that j.4D. on a less depressing note, hype

i wouldnt be too sure about that, noel can use jump install as d.5C->2147A, TK'ing the 214A since the jump cancellable frames of d.5C come sooner than the special cancellable 1s. 46 jump install, people can do it, but it is sorta unorthodox and quite a few ppl find it hard, but changing it to 214 motion could make her able to do it with a simple TK that even more ppl can do, so u would even have some scrubs being able to throw it out too from time to time. Not saying it would surely do that, but if noel can use a TK motion to jump install, making parry into a 214 motion COULD make it even easier and more accessible

litchi'sj.B is generally better cuz of it's range, but if you manage to get close-up, your j.B should beat her, specially if she's higher in the air than you. Also, just for a bit more dmg u could always do IAD j.b>jc>j.b>DP, not a high increase at all, but if u can take a bit more and get a wee bit of more heat, why not do it? =x
