  6. There aren't any set blockstrings other than her normal ground gatlings, when pressuring with Litchi you have to improvise depending on the situation. But this really doesn't need it's own thread, we have a General/Tactical thread for that.

  12. Yes, most of the are really good for beginners. Challenge 9 is useless but the others you should learn if you are just getting started. But the guide here is much better.
  13. Well looks like my Litchi as I-No idea wasn't creative enough! So I would like to make a newer, better request! I would like one of Rachel shooting a Lobelia (B or C version) with George the XIII on the ground and the pumpkin in the air, I'd like it to be at the Reqium stage (Ragna vs. Rachel stage) the wind should be blowing so the rose pedels should be flying a little here and there, finally I want Valkenhayn charging at her. NOTE: I'd like to see this over Valkenhayn's shoulder if it's possible! Thanks to whoever can do this for me! I know it would be a lot of work but I think it would looks awesome.

  15. Sweet! I'll be using Litchi, I'm guessing you're going with Ragna correct? Who will Ren be using?

  16. Learning new notation is important simply because Litchi has specific things that you can't just list as a old notation. Such as IppatsuA, Ippatsu is when she is on the staff after doing the move Riichi. What are you supposed to put on that? All you are doing is hitting A on the staff, but then you have to right A after jumping on the staff or A while on the staff. Why not just write IppatsuA. If you want to learn a new character or learn a new game for that matter you will have to addapt to change, even if you are "really good" at another game that still doesn't change that this is a DIFFERENT game. Plus she has to change between to fighting stances, which requires special notation. If you want to play someone whose combos can be listed in a old fashion, then go play an old game. Now I'll try to help you in any way that I can, if you have anyway questions at all just ask me.
  17. Heh, I found something interesting this morning about 3C[m]... Alright after 3C[m] you have time to do 5D into a pick up using 2B, Haku, 3C and depending on the character 5C. Why is this good? Why not do an ItsuuC combo? Well mid-screen I would use a ItsuuC combo, but in the corner you can turn it into something more damaging. An example: [Pressure Sting] -> 3C[m] -> 5D -> Haku -> Hatsu -> RiichiA -> IppatsuA -> [Corner Combo] Do with this what you will but I think it has potential in the corner. EDIT: I forgot about the mid-screen combos that may be useful. 3C[m] -> 5D -> 2B -> 2C (Or 5C depending on the character) -> 2D [2D Combo] Now you won't land 3C[m] very often unless you are doing a pressure string, and even then it is kind of a slow low so it's a little rare to land one of those. But it's still a good thing to learn just in case.
  18. If you misstime the staff return then they will be able to tech. If you return it too early then you'll be stuck in the recovery of the staff return and you won't have time to air dash, if you return it too late then they won't be on OTG (Off The Ground) state and they won't be lifted up. Hope that helped a bit...
  19. Hmm... Can I have one of Litchi cosplaying as I-No from Guilty Gear? However, nothing too slutty or sexual. A little kinky is nice but nothing along the lines of BB/GG Telephone Cards... Anyway, however does this for me you are the bestestiesterest person ever!

[m]= With Staff [D]= Hold D ]D[= Release D Staff 1= First Hit Of Staff Return Staff 2= Second Hit Of Staff Return ItsuuA/B/C/D(41236D hit A/B/C/D for the follow up)= A with staff special, A makes her shoot it to the air, B make her shoot it straight forward, C makes her throw it to the ground and D will end the stances faster RiichiA/B/C(63214A/B/C)= A staffless special, A will make her jump on the staff (A stance named Ippatsu) B will make her jump on the staff and throw it accross the screen, C makes her jump on the staff and throw herself across the screen Tsubame Gaeshi(623D)= A with staff special, she will throw the staff up in the air and then it will fall back down (Her DP) Haku(236A)= A staffless special, she does a low sliding kick Hatsu(236B)= A staffless special, she will do a rising kick Chun(236C)= A staffless special, she will do a jumping flip kick IppatsuA/B/C/D(A/B/C/D While on the staff)= A staffless special, the stance after RiichiA where she jumps on the staff, A will make her do a small kick, B will make her do a uppercut kick while falling off the staff(Falling Hatsu), C make her do a falling flip kick (Falling Chun) and D is her Astral Hopefully that will help you understand what people are talking about when doing combos.

Alright, I got my copy of CS Tuesday night and so far I've been doing REALLY well adapting to the new combos, timing and spacing but the only think I can't do is ItsuuC combos, the two in particular are ItsuuC ->[D] -> j.C -> ]D[ -> IAD -> j.C -> [ender] and ItsuuC -> [D] -> j.B -> j.C -> ]D[ -> IAD -> j.B -> j.C -> [ender] I've tried it inputting it as ItsuuC -> 9[D] and I've been able to get it once or twice but still no rapid success, are there any other techniques to doing this? Also I don't think I saw this posted anywhere but here is a midscreen combo: 2C[m] -> ItsuuA -> 4Kote -> 3C -> 2D -> Hatsu -> Chun -> Staff 2 -> 5B[m] -> ItsuuA -> 4Kote -> 3C -> 2D -> Dash -> 6C(2) -> Staff 2 -> ItsuuA -> 4Kote -> 3C -> 2D -> Dash -> 6C(2) -> 6D[m] The combo from beginning to end give you 50% Heat so you can always use Diasharin afterwards without having to worry about heat gain.
