  1. Safe and quick NTD combo. cc8b > BC > AC Really hard to get cut unless your other opponent is on top of you when you're NTD. Considering how easy unicorn is to cut I find this combo very useful because it usually means the other opponent was already closing in to help his partner and you gain the initiative on him too.
  2. Well I'll try to make it to this next one, seeing as all online lobbies are still dodge the noobs, stay classy EXVS. Kudos to the rare players who stick it out with me btw.
  3. I'll join in on this, I'm so out of practice, and not very good to begin with.
  4. Do you even play hazama remotely well?(Well ok, I guess I can't say I play him too well either. ) There are a ton of situations where I nip them at the end of my hitbox and need that dash. Most of his chain movements are gimmicks where you need something to throw off your opponent. Things like throwing a chain on oki and using C to crossup but you need to be EXTREMELY careful when doing such. I've seen Buppa do it OCCASIONALLY, because its a GIMMICK. Gimmicks aren't always bad, you just need to be very careful because if they are aware of said gimmick it can be PUNISHED, HARD. His chain zoning is pretty safe, but it's also easy for your opponent to play conservatively and block. Better opponents are going to be working their way in and you just have to milk it for as much meter as you can. Using a blocked chain to mixup for an attack gets predictable and punishable EXTREMELY QUICKLY. Characters like bang can drive their way in off of them, fakeout chains into a 2nd chain will hit some bangs for a little bit until they stop trying to be stylish and just throw a D nail. OH LOOK I'M IN. He isn't extremely difficult but you need matchup knowledge to play him, because a large amount of meter gain in higher level play is from IB's, to IB you need to know pressure strings and timings, it's really hard to practice and it's almost something you kind of feel out.
  5. Well the hardest part is building up your dexterity so you can do smaller motions so you're not trying to make a halfcircle by riding along the gate. Then there are still inputs like hazamas astral Thank god for the 720 shortcut.
  6. At this point when I do a blockstring my opponents just sit and stare at me afterwards because they're sick of running into 214d~b. The ragna player inferno divides, and rapids if I bait it. Why does ragna always have meter for RC's aaarrarahararhargahrghrara. I'm trying to get out of the 214d~b habit and doing 236D for safety though against characters with DPs or good enough reversals. Unless I have good meter and a lifelead I really don't like taking huge risks.
  7. Oh man this has to be one of my favorites.
  8. This is about 10 pages too late but since the consensus seemed to be that The Bloodedge in the past wasn't Ragna. How about I bring up this advertising snippet from the Phase 0 novel due to come out. Careful this advert contains some pretty fucking big spoilers and I don't know why such spoilers would be used to advertise something. Maybe they thought the foreshadowing in CS was blatant. So really at this point the only speculation worthy aspect of this is if the main storyline ragna is who fights the black beast, or if the ragna who fights the black beast is born during the CT/CS loops, or something else entirely. Bottom line is Ragna fights the beast.
  9. In my experience hazamas 3c has never lost to the roll, just have to be a little more cautious at certain distances when throwing out 5d.
  10. Then start canceling your chains. Trying to tele combo frequently doesn't seem like that good of an idea since hazama's chains are so fast.
  11. Careful guys, remember this is information, not speculation. Try not to post if you're not 100% sure of things.
  12. I heard they took out individual character themes. I feel bad for the object closest to me when I get a confirmation of this. Because it's going for a ride into the nearest wall. Batsu was in my team for one reason, his theme was supremely manly.
  13. I'm stuck playing it because it's the only thing my friends seem to want to buy that's a fighting game.
