  2. oh you actually did it. wooo
  3. Since the only way to get milage out of this suit is make the match chaos you actually get a lot of close range punishes often.
  4. Non powered form br, sub, cc8b is a tight hitconfirm at close ranges so you can actually get a down with only using 1 br shot and being relatively hard to cut compared to a full zunda/melee. You have to cancel into sub immediately then immediately cc8b so its kind of a yomi/landing punish only thing.
  5. Add you've got the touch from the original transformers movie.
  6. Oki, dropping it when you ascend to try to catch people waiting underneath you, and varying your landings with the sub amekyan between 5ab and 2ab. Thats basically the majority of the use. 2ab has more of a delay before you start moving when you cancel I think wheras 5ab is relatively seamless. If you're a god you can 2ab people's approaches and I've tagged zero systems that way but its still not something I'd reccommend over fences. Especially since its a trick that wont work more than once or twice. This is mostly because they only go a fairly short distance before deploying.

  8. How long until we start doing the general changelog for maxiboost and it starts off with Maxi Boost - Mobility increased
  9. From back when I messed with it I think I didn't hold the rainbow step and bc'd as soon as I was able. Then hold the direction again immediately after you release csa. My friend said I should be able to hold the step direction. Make sure you hold a direction when doing any movement in general, like how boost hops go further when you hold the direction.
  10. Just make sure you have movement with step 6b csa down first its what you're going to be doing in 95% of situations anyway. If you don't know fringe cases where you need a bit more oomph not like acha is gonna help. youll do more damage going for it randomly.
  11. If you're struggling against this suit I give some major pointers. -ignore as much as possible while pack is off, regz in normal mode is still pretty decent but force it to start trying to melee/close range to get your attention and dispatch it easily. Despite being relatively decent in MS mode to other lower tier 1k's, it still requires high commital to get anything done. -GANK ITS RESPAWN, if the regz's partner isn't able to save it or is downed, ReGZ has to be put into a situation where A. he tries to activate EX and mash a super or B. go for a pack purge. The downside is if the ReGZ lands either its very bad(which is why the suit is very well established as top of the 1k's), its just far better to try to bait these options out now instead of waiting for regz to just spot a landing punish and activate. -stand under it when its in plane mode, there is a deadzone underneath the suit based on how high it is. Also if you're a suit with a 2b or something like hyaku's MA mode melee, melee is a pretty good way to knock it out of the sky, the ONLY option against repeated melees is pack purge and BC doesn't deal with all of them.
  12. I like how I thought this suit was slow when I first played it. I have brought shame to generations of my family. But hey at least I can say it doesn't have a weakness anymore.
  13. Also as another example of why not doing hard notation is a bad thing. I just played efreet on stream on request, and I tried to do 6b ac-b when someone told me to do 6b > exam melee > 5b > exam melee as a bad/lazy combo since I had no clue how his melee worked. All he had to do was say 6bc or 5bc and I would have had no issues. The whole point of combo notation is to establish a universal language, not to be pretty.
  14. People don't always read from top to bottom and since 90% of the people are going to go right to the combo list, seeing stuff like MGaAP/BOP is annoying. If it can be expressed as buttons+directions just do it that way, K-I-S-S. In fighting games we could always abbreviate the move names instead of the move inputs since users can just scroll up to associate the names with the moves but we don't because why waste peoples time. Only reason I didn't like BDB notation way back when is that it ignores the up input.
  15. A lot of(what I edited away) was me being tired and assuming close range only means self defense, because his self defense is still very good but his aggressive close ranged options aren't too amazing because his melee isn't really exceptional compared to great melees(although they do get the job done)and he isn't the fastest 3k on the block so emphasizing his midrange isn't really wrong. Also BC is kind of a big elephant in the room at near point blank range, you can step into melee off the initial hit as long as your enemy isn't grounded(or really close to it). Follow up the melee hit with fuwa br sub or something if you're really getting focused. It straight beats most of anything. He can still get double locked and pinned down but relative to other suits having BC is still a boon, I treat it like a 2b wire like TX. I just didn't want to complain about anything I don't feel I have the authority to improve since I'm not gonna be confident in my opinions unless I'm MLG 2015 champion of EXVS.
  16. Translations sections are great.
  17. ReGZ oddities/bugs: Your MA main doesn't always get full hits, in fact it seems it rarely does for me, this isn't really too weird since many moves have this property. AC missiles will randomly hit people who are blocking.(block first 2, second 2 explode and hit through block) MS mode super will randomly hit people who are blocking. MA mode super will get full damage off only a couple hits.(as low as 2-3). Letting your MA pack run out right on top of/ramming into someone will make them take the full 180 damage, its still a live projectile. Shots will randomly track in green lock(general MA mode bug apparently(?)) http://www.twitch.tv/lukewarmholiday/c/5028092 (correction: tracks to the point in greenlock where your opponent was standing at time of firing.) Other stuff: You can skip the delay between firing rounds of missiles by using side-bc, IE, bbb 4/6bc bbb. This is a VERY good way to close out games and make fool proof landing punishes. You don't always have to fire both sub missiles in MS mode, if you're going to land orange anyway, br br sub(cancel before 2nd shot). If you're being focused, firing both missiles after br is obviously the better choice to have more boost to mixup your landing. Use meaty gerobis in situations where you need a down such as super armor moves, general preference is to avoid them though if you can. If someones threatening to melee you, don't hesitate to purge and follow up with melee hits, landing a purge is almost enough damage to make your life worth it on its own. If you're confident and there isn't much lag you can just spam 8bc to get away from melee. If someone is underneath you might as well ignore him than trying to reposition yourself, if both enemies are underneath you and locked on well congratulations you're drawing attention, hope your partner isn't bad. Your 6b swerves a decent amount but sucks, but you can still inch around shots fired at you when approaching from the right angles on an opponent almost out of boost, hurray. Know your death orders for 1k's, 3k1k1k, 1k2.5k1k1k, 1k1k2k1k(this one nobody does right). I only say this because nobody knows 1k death orders, I get so many "sorry!" comms when people die on time. YOU need to know and be in control of when you/your partner dies because the majority of the time how far front you play determines who dies when. Assault is probably the only option on this suit in my opinion, Psychoframe flying out after activating EX can be used to punish bad vernier shots at you and you can immediately mash ex into super without fear of being hit. MA mode super will eat through any shield that doesn't have a brief invuln animation(shield bits, cloaks) with a very very small number of hits and usually hit the target. The only real skill I feel like I'm sorely lacking in on this suits MA mode is tagging people trying to boost hop with gerobi as they ascend from below to above me.
  18. Zaku III "buffs" is a bit of an overstatement.
  19. If you're more specific about which suits I can try to explain why they were.
  20. There are also grand moments where you're green to everyone in the room but red to the host for all of 5 seconds because routing in the US is gr8. Whenever a room uses lag limits its wait enough enough people get screwed so they join the next shuffle room someone else makes. Then there are times where its just am erratic host and its stuck 8-9/12. It's reaaaally not that hard to kick reds, especially since people stick around more when you're managing your room. I host whenever I don't have the red bar bug.
  21. I'm not playing this game if I have the risk of being excluded from events. Sorry, this is a big deal. This game isn't big enough for me to pick and choose where I participate.
  22. Just decide fast, because it looks like I'm quitting this game.
  23. The system sucks and if someone has one lag spike they're kicked from the room until it closes. There are also used to be a lot of really weird interactions with people joining after the room is formed managing to get people kicked because they lag to each other while not lagging to the host. I don't think most of those exist anymore though. Just stop resitting and kick people between games.
  24. If they block the sub you get a huge positioning advantage, you're fairly set to start closing distance and looking for a melee situation. At this point you're probably going to land and get boost advantage and you're going to be looking for a closer ranged game. If you have AC up you can play a normal ranged game with br pokes, your ammo reloads extremely fast. Your mobility outclasses the majority of suits which is arguably far more important for playing a ranged game coupled with a fast BR with good accuracy you ave a great capacity to punish landings. His BR has a low ammo count to keep him out of elder god tear due to his mobility, just like WZTV(oh wait). Delta plus BR is more spammable but slower, kshatriya BR is garbage(big domage) but she funnels and amekyans for days. Hamrabi wins clean especially when AC is up, zeong wins at midrange so you're forced to commit to close or longrange. If the suit wasn't more than capable of playing and winning ranged with 3k's and 2.5k's I don't see how the suit could be any good at all. All his melees are punish oriented and are dogshit for chasing. 8b being the strongest chase option. The only thing about The O is that due to his slow melee travel speed outside of 8b which is punishable, and his low ammo count you run the risk of getting caught up in doing one thing for too long. If you fight a WZTV and zeong/kshat/hamrabi team that ONLY wants to run away, you're not a suit well positioned to break that duo. In fact very few suit combos are, and one that could got nerfed(Reborns/HeavyArms)
