  1. Or maybe everyone is too busy playing him to post anything You know, this forum was one of the least active ones prior to the game's console release, even though there were plenty of things to discuss about the arcade version.
  2. Do you honestly believe that people would go to the tournament that runs an outdated version of the game? Especially since the difference isn't even close to that between Melee and SSB4.
  3. Wrong thread, I assume?
  4. Well we can try asking them questions about the game! In other news, the Character button on the website was colored a while ago, but now it's gray again. Got me all excited for another update, too...
  5. You still manage to combine good voice acting, actual BB plot and jabs at the anime's quality in perfect amounts. Keep at it, please. Almost had a spit take on this one.
  6. I was just about to post that. Apparently the latest version of the game is going to be available on the Fighting Game Conference 2015, held this weekend. There doesn't seem to be any changes in the mechanics (or movelists: still no Lethal Blaze), but I'll translate what we got. Muramasa: Eardrum Smasher Steel Spider Thread Enchant Plus: Linear Accel Enchant Minus: Magnetic Barrier Aoi: World Modification Althea: Blade of War Axe Yoishi: Vomit
  7. Pretty sure Pot got his name from Battleship Potemkin, since that movie deals with a revolution, and Pot took part in one.
  8. Trust me, as soon as we know it, someone will post it here. Uhh, vomit assist? I'm not sure whether or not I should finish that VN now... EDIT: There's going to be another NitoBura-themed stream this Friday, though it's going to mostly feature Nitroplus artists drawing in real time. Still, I'd tune in just in case they announce something. http://www.nitroplus.co.jp/news/2015/01/150126_4335.php
  9. The early access is going to open on February 4th, and this time, I will actually be able to play it! There are apparently lots of changes from the original beta, which you can check out here: http://www.riseofincarnates.com/news/609 They also added two more characters, so the roster is going to have eight of them for now.
  10. I honestly think that it's not a hard rule that everyone follows: people call different moves differently, depending on whether the input or the name (or a nickname, like Millia's pin) is easier to understand. That said, Leo's charge specials are much easier to remember by inputs, mostly because they're, well, charge specials, so you have a rough idea of what they do from their inputs alone. Anyways, this is getting a bit off-topic, so I'll stop here.
  11. I see little difference between using proper names and inputs. In either case, you have to have a basic understanding of the character: if you do, then you can use both, if you don't, then you can use neither. I would never be able to read Relius discussions because all his names sound the same and have very similar inputs. On the other hand, I don't remember Elphelt's Berry Pine input off the top of my head, but you can bet that everyone knows how it's called.
  12. On one hand, I still don't see Blaziken. On the other hand, Gardevoir is going to make me pick this up sooner or later.
  13. Honestly getting tired of Faylan, all her BB songs sound the same to me.
  14. Well That Man didn't do even that, and he's still considered one of the most powerful beings in the world.
  15. It says something about the game's design when even the top tiers have some safety valves built into their gameplan (Zato's Eddie meter, Faust's random items, Millia's pin, Ram's setup lag). Luckily, even without being reliant on meter, they have their weaknesses.
  16. Well Kagura was just a name in someone's arcade mode before being announced as playable, unlike Platinum.
  17. That wasn't the case with CS DLC chars. Sure, that's mostly because they were introduced in advance, but Platinum had both her story and gameplay debuts in the same version.
  18. No one said that they were confirmed to become playable, it's just that people expect them to become playable down the line, which the scans don't deconfirm.
  19. Why would you bring up Tsukihime in a discussion about fanservice? Its designs are some of the most conservative in the genre. Or is that a bad thing because they're not "Unique"?
  20. Let's be honest: with so many characters already in the roster, it'd be difficult to make anyone unlike ALL of them at this point. For what it's worth, I think the weapon loss part of that idea is cool.
  21. Did you even read my post?
  22. No, she's a former boy, that's different.
  23. Why am I not surprised that Mai now has better chances of becoming playable than Jubei?
  24. The character that made me pick up GG was Zato. Everything he does just looks extremely cool and unlike anything I've ever seen. Of course, that doesn't say much when you take into account that I was 11 years old at the time, but I'd say he still fits OP's criteria nicely. Uhh, good luck?
  25. Doesn't every character become more threatening with meter? I understand his point, but it could be worded better.
