  1. But Filia's moves are not huge enough for this game. Marie would fit the game pretty well, I think, as long as L0 and French Bread are on the same wavelength about her moves.
  2. Fukou da... Surprised to actually see Kirino playable: this means that everyone can become a potential character, even characters from Denpa Onna and such (and things are going to get real ugly when SoL and chuuni-action meet). Too bad that there are only four characters, but I suppose they just couldn't develop too many of them in such short time. As for the translations, I'll just list the corrections to the Google translations listed above (they're mostly correct): - Impact Skills are done by pressing 5AB or 2AB and can be used in combos like any other special; - Blitz Marks are actually Dengeki Marks (since they're shaped like the Dengeki Bunko logo, duh); - Blast Mode is activated by pressing ABC and having the "Blast OK" mark (has nothing to do with Dengeki Marks). You can use it to burst out of combos, strengthen your own combos, or use it as a combo extender, similar to P4U's One More Burst; - Extended Action changes some moves if you hold the button instead of just pressing it; - Potential has different activation conditions depending on the character, the comeback condition ("Attack gets higher when your health is low") is just one of the examples; - The meter (called Climax Gauge) is accumulated by attacking, blocking, walking and by itself over time; - EX specials are performed with the S button; - Each character has two supers (Climax Arts); - Pushblock (Reflection Guard) is performed by pressing any button while blocking; - Auto-combo (Quick Combination) route is A > B > C > Impack Attack > EX special (if you have the meter). Also, some more info on Assists that haven't been translated yet: - The Assists can be chosen freely, they do not depend on the character you play as; - All Assists have different cooldowns, though they usually take about 4-5 seconds to use again, so you'll be able to use them freely; - You can use Assists to cancel your attacks at the cost of a single bar of Climax gauge. The sample combo given is A > B > C > S > Special > (Assist hits) > Air combo.

  4. Which makes so much sense, since Kumagawa is an eternal loser. His luck is so bad, he couldn't even get to be a playable character.
  5. Finally, a reason to import this game. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BVkoPcFCQAEQ73I.jpg:large
  6. EU region is a whole different can of worms: I still haven't found the way of running my Platinum announcer pack on my Vita - and I certainly got it from the same PSN Store as the game.

  8. What's that and why should it be in? Other than that and the missing Accel World, that's a decent list (though I'm iffy on most SoL titles). I'm also currently reading Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria, so I'm a bit biased towards that at the moment, but since it doesn't even have an anime series, its chances are slim.
  9. Isn't that just vaporware at this point, or do you mean the videos by "checking it out"?
  10. So Elizabeth doesn't get hella buffed in Awakening in this loketest? Or are those buffs just not helping her at all? Kanji's dungeon had my favorite theme in the game, glad it's in now. And maybe Teddie gets the Theater, since he was in the same dungeon as Rise?
  11. Or maybe he decided it's going to be too bothersome to draw her sprites if the guns are too intricate. Also, they look like something you hit people with, and Noel does exactly that.

  13. So it works like Iggy's counter? In that you do it in advance, then do whatever the hell you want, and if they hit you, you automatically burst out?
  14. Calling it now: the new guy is the protag of the next Persona game that's currently being teased here. Other than that, the reveal is long overdue, though Aigis's suplex makes the wait worth it.
  15. I think they're just having temporary difficulties. If they change the URL, I'll post the new one here.
  16. I'm not sure how it should be spelled in English, but it's Flame ベルボーグ (Bell Borg?).
  17. Uhh, Mikoto. I'm not too well-versed in Raildexverse, so I only know her and the clones
  18. Might as well go for Misaka. Though that really depends on a number of factors, i.e., whether they're going to only feature heroines, how many characters out of a single franchise they wish to include, whether characters from other franchises have similar fighting styles (and whether they want to include similar characters), etc.
  19. I just think that having two heroic fencers is not that high on their list of priorities. It made sense in Aqapazza to have lots of schoolgirls, since To Heart is their most popular and long-lasting franchise, but in this game, with so many choices for the roster, it might not be such a good idea to have Emi playable instead of Sadao. They might even ignore Hataraku altogether, but since it's been made into anime recently, I'm inclined to believe that they're going to use that to promote the game.
  20. Not to mention that Emi's playstyle is already taken by Asuna. Even if Emi were playable, I'm not sure how different she'd be from the rest of the fencing girls in all these LNs.
  21. Science Fiction? Sounds like a Nightmare Fiction remix to me
  22. That's just the info we had from the initial jBBS impresions, it has been proven wrong ever since the frame data came out (and apparently, some people still missed it).
  23. A nice write-up on Kokonoe's normals is up on jBBS, though the Graviton placement is described differently from Kurushii's observations. I'll leave it in just so the picture is complete. 5D places the node right where Kokonoe is. 2D places it at the center of the screen. 6D places it on the opposite side of the screen. 8D places it diagonally upwards. Pressing the button in mid-air might change the placement slightly, but it's still generally the same. 5A is pretty high, though it's not suited for anti-air usage, like Hazama's or Ragna's. 6A comes out pretty slowly, but is an obvious anti-air tool. 2A is similar to Taokaka's and is pretty cute. Don't remember whether it hits low or not. j.A resembles Relius's: you can mash it to keep going till Kokonoe lands. ATATATA 5B has about the same range as Hazama's 5B. Counter Assault got this move's animation. 6B is a two-hit ground overhead. 2B is a low attack with an additional input that makes it deal two hits. j.B is a two-hit attack with an additional input, as well. The range is pretty decent. 5C summons a mecha-ish cannon and attacks with it. 2C summons a drill hammer and attacks the enemy's feet. If they are crouching, you can link 5C into 2C. Fatal Counter. 6C has a similar animation to Platinum's 6C, though it may not act the same way. Fatal Counter. 3C is a two-hit attack with the hammer that draws the enemy in. Since the second hit floats, you can kinda link it into specials.
  24. Yeah, that's what it says on the official website
  25. Also I'm surprised that no one has brought up their last big self-crossover: Cross of Venus The only Sega game that comes to my mind is Bayonetta, but I'd be fine with Valkyria Chronicles and other stuff I'm forgetting at the moment. It's just that, you know, they already have entire games dedicated to them, and you can't say the same about Hataraku Maou-Sama or something. And that crossover game is pretty bad from what I've read: it's simply a retelling of first volumes of some LNs and some original plot at the end. Of course, that might be exactly the same case this time, too, but at least it's a fighting game, which doesn't care about plot that much.
