the second link you posted was an announcement for a poll on their favorite character, as quoted: 気に入りのキャラクター translates to "pleased with character," which is most often taken as "your favorite character." now here's the title for the announcement in the first link. first part キャラクター総選挙結果発表 translates to "character general election announcement." second part 気になる1位は…!? translates to "make worry 1st place is...!?" now that i look at the original context, i'd presume this is a poll of which character people hated the most. the point is, 気に入る and 気になる are pretty much polar opposites and should not be considered the same, and the recent announcements were not one that showed everyone's favorite character. meaning azrael will not be the one getting the announcer voice and all that neat stuff. they even said in that same post that they'll announce the actual "favorite characters" results later.
-
the poll was a ranking of which character worries the most (in the most literal sense). this could either mean that the character is annoying, something is concerning about the character, or (unlikely) that something is exciting about the character. wouldn't make sense to have the most annoying character be an announcer...but take everything with a grain of salt i guess.

player matches have 4 total options, which are: 対戦・観戦ルーム(1v1/Spectate room): traditional BB player match room 全員乱戦ルーム(Free-for-all room): everyone plays a 1v1 match at the same time トレーニングルーム(Training room): as the name implies, play training mode with other people リプレイ鑑賞ルーム(Replay room): watch downloaded replays with others the rest of the stuff in kurushii's video is pretty easy to figure out.

i'm going to warn everyone right here and now about this thread. for those of you who pay attention to the boards, you may have known about the previous petition topic to localize BBCP for the 360, and some of you may even know what happened to it. much to everyone's surprise (incredible sarcasm here), the thread ended up in absolute derailment. now i'm not one who necessarily disagrees with the intentions of either OP, so i plan on keeping this topic open. it is a cause that can merit good discussion. however, should this topic run off course like its predecessor, i will immediately lock this thread and hand out infractions to those causing the derailment. i will not be forgiving on this. you've been warned.

first off 6C into dead spike first of all doesn't work on half of the cast due to hitboxes, and second dead spike followups are incredibly hard with that setup. there's a reason why there's usually no dead spike in midscreen combos. 5B > 3C > 22C is not more desirable, and there are two reasons why. the first reason is the one you listed: you have to be close enough for 22C to work. in most cases, you'll also be too far for 3C to work as well, and whiffing 3C after 5B will always make the opponent hit you. the second reason is that this isn't a good confirm. distance from the opponent plays a role in this, but it's also the blockstring options after 3C. if you used 5B > 5C > 2D for example, you could at least gatling into 2C after 5C, which is huge in ragna's game. however, your only options after 3C are 2D, special cancel (hue), or jump cancel. if you jump cancel, you're most likely do a backwards jump cancel cause of how slow the approach from forward jump is. with 2D or back jump cancel, you'll end up retreating to neutral, and with forward or neutral jump cancel you're putting yourself at risk. now if it was something like airdash j.C > j.D > dash 5B > 3C, that would be a completely different story.

1. 214D is -1 when you use it at point blank without any dash cancel. if you use it farther or combine it with dash cancel, you can make it plus on block. 2. no one does 6B > 6A primarily because of how unsafe the option is on block. but if you really should know, then i would think doing hell's fang after 6A would be the optimal option. 3. 6B has the same 24F startup. i don't think its knockback was changed in any way, though i could be wrong.
-
you can't just go full pressure game. pressure only works with ragna when you combine it with mixup (although that can be said with most characters). it's one thing to force an opponent to block, but it's another to force them to block correctly.
-
ragna's OD damage is balls not like you'd use ragna's OD for damage now anyways

BlazBlue Question Thread - Ask your questions here!
KayEff replied to KayEff's topic in BlazBlue Gameplay
if you're referring to playstyle, most characters call for the same stuff, except for nu and maybe relius. for combos, then it might be a little tricker as everyone's combos changed drastically. it's debatable, but i think hazama and taokaka's the least changed in this regard.
