  1. Where is this video gli? Is it possible for us to watch it?
  2. noel has a 6a? o.0 l thought she only had one move. I find her midrange to be the hardest thing to learn, and neutral game. knowing when to stop setting steins and not being predictable your post-stein summon options. not being free with your spacing. basically, knowing how to control the screen with your big normals and go-anywhere lasers. l think one will eventually get used to the character design, but spacing is something that takes alot more skill to learn - at least imo, partly due to the freeness that is my neutral game :x

    [CS2] Rachel Combos

Yes lol. j.c. sorry, im very lazy when it comes to typing out combos. jc=j.c, and jump cancel dosent exist. i'll need to fix my fg vocabulary soon.

    [CS2] Rachel Combos

    New 5c combo. 5k meterless but requires corner. 5cc fatal 214a3d 3c(hold) (frog hits) jc 2d j2c(lv2) delay 3c(3) 236b 5a(1) jc 2d dj2c(lv2) dash 5cc frog oki For some reason doing 5cdc 214a 3c(1) 236a (frog hits)... does 4.5k. But you can also end it with 3c(1) 214c 3c(1) oki for the wind regen. Also, it only works on those you can 3c 236b with. Plus its 3 winds. But, if you're using 5c as a frametrap then it should be easy to confirm in the corner. Here's some midscreen ones. 5c fatal 3c5d(3) 236b dash 5a/5b jc 2d j2c(lv2) delay 3c 214c jc 2d j2c(lv2) land 2a 5c(w)c 236b dash 5cc 3c(1) 214c 3c(1) oki. 4.3 k, 3 winds 5c fatal 3c(3) 236b dash 5b jc 2d dj2c(lv2) delay 3c(3) 214c jc 2d dj2c(lv2) land 214a delay 5b 236a x 2 (frog hits) 5b jc j214c sjc djc 236a. 5k, 3 winds and gets 50 meter
  5. ^I want to be that guy
  6. meaty 5b instead of summon? you mind explaining that? llrc, 3c pumpkin 5b is only -5, so it in theory would stuff anything but 5a and anti-5b moves (fenrir etc). plus, pumpkin has all attributes and will hit her out of everything barring fenrir (and that's -2 if done instantly).not questioning your logic though, you probably know a key something that l dont. 6a has saved me numerous times btw. it scares me lol.edit: disregard this lol. my calculations are off
  7. 2366x. it works 100% of the time. thats how l do it, anyway, but it always works. l believe the term is called microdashing?
  8. Ahaha, thanks. I tried to play as safe as I could though I kknow that could clearly use some work. That combo will be noted. I wasnt exactly sure what I should be doing after 236d, but that helps alot. Lol i'm really going to try and get better with her and not troll a la cs1 because she really is simple and fun to play. Not to mention, actually good. I will most certainly be careful from now on. My pressure with tsu is really stale atm (5bb 2bb 5cc 6b with small variations), because I havent gone too in depth with her frame data or tricks yet. Here's the thing with 6b. It's +1, and I abuse it alot out of habit to restart pressure. I tend to overthink sometimes and get blown up by something else; in this case I figured my opponents would not be expecting any more high/lows after 6b so I rc and go for a relatively safe high/low/crossup, since I know 6b will be blocked. Only the high seems to work well, most people just block low anyway. And yes lol. I do only throw on wakeup now, it's a strange habit I picked up from playing zeth. That will be noted and fixed. @dusk, yeah, sadly I cant record on a whim so I have to depend on the kindness of others in order to get the vids up. I just try to get what I can and be grateful lol. I will try to stay on the ground more as well. I should try to play matches without jumping in neutral at all- it would help with playing Rachel too. Big TY guys :D
  9. Forgot about these. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qntsE1HsyNE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B36BzRnNE_Q It was my first day of tsu being my official sub, and I was getting some basics down. I still cant seem to grasp her neutral game like at all, and that is what i'd reall love some critique on. Ok, so I realize this is danisen stuff, and i'm sure no one likes having to look through the entire vid just to find the matches. For some convienence I added when tsu fought. First vid- 0:00, tsu vs arakune 6:33, tsu vs ragna 9:25, tsu vs hakumen Second vid- 7:32, tsu vs ragna 10:02, tsu vs haku thx to mashthat5a (I really should get something to record with soon)
  10. you could just 6b - nothing. it's only punishable point blank and only punishable with 5a, and it has to be ib'd for that to happen. the benefit of nothing is that it is completely safe on block and baits bursts as well if it hits.
  11. Kirby I wouldnt say i'm better than jason lol. He does go to tournies and stuff. I mean I go too, but theres no offline footage of me playing at any tourney. While not necessarily true, playing offline often means you're playing a person at a better quality and conditions so you'll probably get something that is similar to their best plays. Not to mention I make the same silly mistakes offline too. I'm just way too tense with stuff.
  12. I think everyone is trying after EVO. I dont know how to describe it, but let's just say my passion for playing this game has most definitely been renewed. I never hated the game, and the balance dosent have me feeling overwhelmed either. Also netplay isn't a particularly a bad experience for me since I've been avoiding ranked and playing a usual group of people everyday-you guys are welcome to drop in anytime you want btw. I'm definitely enjoying Rachel, alot. I do wish Rachel did well in japan, but we can't all get what we want all the time.
  13. thank you lol. trying to get better
  14. I'm not sure what you mean in your first sentence. If you're referring to the air lobelia j2c fatal trick, well that's a combo within itself. the lobelia is added because it has to be in order for the combo to work. As for dropping j.2c enders, I was never good at ending with it for some odd reason. I'm usually too early, or too late. It is rather inconsistent in a real match, and I haven't been able to adapt to the different timings... since ct. lol Thank you for the compliments. I have a variety of plans depending on the summons out, but my main plan is to get george out whenever I can. Then I can stay on the ground and recover wind, or launch winded seeds at the foe. I used to be very trap oriented but I'm liking the idea of aggressive zoning because it gets them into george or the corner (or both) rather quickly, and then I can do whatever from there. lol. I'm starting to get a feeling that I do better with short ranged characters. I absolutely suck with mu and litchi now, and i've been playing litchi for 2+ years and mu for most of cs. Tsu feels so natural as does Rachel. I'm still trying to find an ideal george combo midscreen that can get more heat than the whole level 2 j2c bnb. right now i'm working on this: (frog hits, nearby pole) 3c(3) 214c walk jc 2d dj2c(lv2) 214a delay 5b 236a x 2(frog hits) 5b jc j214c (can do bbl ender from here) It gains a shitton of heat and gives 4k barring bbl ender. The problem is whether it can be done consistently in a match as well as what I can start off with. Despite george being a core to my playing I still havent found the best way to get the absolute best damage from a george hit, so i'm just playing it safe for now ._. Thanks guys for the comments.
  15. decided to drop everyone and just practice rachel (and tsu), and I think sticking to one/two characters has improved what I should be doing, though I still have a long way to go before I can be consistant with the princess. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8b9Ra3-HdAc a bunch of me vs zeth (ignore the first match if you want because im using tsu lol) I studied this matchup and applied some of my strats, but even still he did open me up alot especially with 5c and command grab lol. also, I was trying to do some of my own made up combos, but my execution is just shitty. sigh its 32 minutes so you dont have to look at all of the matches - but by all means if you want to youre going to make me a happy camper. so yeah... critique appreciated! and enjoy and of course thanks to zeth for uploading
  16. did you? when l havent been playing bb long since l finally got a laptop
  17. l have an insane urge... to write a story. about a loli ._. but l haven't written anything in ages. sigh touhou pic is funny. what if that girl that opened the door had a nose? well, it'd be broken
  18. l wouldn't say that this a good matchup. neither one of them has the defensive tools to reliably escape the corner, and lambda is a primer breaking machine with decent mixup. lambda gets better damage from ch hits along with full corner carry with gravity well, and even non ch hits like air 4d hits compared to cs1. they both got stronger and rachel can handle her; the caveat is that rachel is a big target with a BREAK MY PRIMERS sign on her back without wind. this match will probably never be completely in rachel's favor by design.
  19. ah l see. lt seems like rach just has to adapt to tsu's patterns and react accordingly, but she has to depend on the summons to punish tsu once she figures out tsu's neutral game. lol, me any my autopiloting stay free
  20. this matchup is a pain in the ass. l never seem to hit her out of the air with lobelia/jc when she goes for sjd for the trillionth time. it always hits her dumb boot and keeps on going like nothing happened. ugh.l learned the hard way that ib 2c just wont work ever. balls. where is my fucking dp aksysranting aside, what is the general gameplan vs rachel? lts hard not to let her set up considering you need charges, but its hard for (my) rach to stop her from charging without using wind for measly damage.so the question is, which situation is more dangerous? rachel with 4 winds and everything out, or tsu with 5 charges?
  21. my lil' knowledge from fighting isuyaru who is gdlk. fullscreen - get the entourage out -things to be careful of: fuoco, volante *you dont want to get hit by OR block fuoco, instead super jump if carl isnt near, or backdash if you're far enough *volante can be stopped with most of your projectiles, 236a is good midscreen ...will be added his pressure -oy. -things to watch:5b, getting sandwiched *5b is jcable and goes into lows. it also leads into the crossup. be vigilant *being sandwiched is VERY bad (you'll probably die if he hits you at this point). be prepared to block alot. be wary of: *(carl filler, jump) 6[d] - can do a high or empty low *2[d] (carl filler) 2b(2[d] hits) - yay unblockables l definitely will flesh this out, if anything is wrong dont hesitate to correct me please.
  22. it's alright but it's very similar to her cs1 combos... the ones that give her crap for oki in the corner without a good stein setup. from 3c you can do something like: 3c ch sod 6a 6b dash 6a j2c jd land 2b 5c 2c j2c jd 2b 6a jc j2c. you get 2 steins, better damage and it's not that hard to do once you get it down. most of her corner stuff will involve sod, and/or stein summons mid combo because they open up her damage and oki potential tremendously compared to cs1.
  23. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?10700-CS2-Tsubaki-Yayoi-Guide-Version-3.8-(Updated-6-30) this is what you want to have a look at to get a general feel of her. once you learn the basics l advise looking at combos or watching videos of tsubaki play (theres a convenient combo thread and video thread on the tsu boards, and well as a question thread... for your questions lol). this thread is for your videos that you may have uploaded to youtube, so people can visually see your actions and help you based off of how you played.
  24. yes gli please hang in there, l hear there's an army of noels there o.o who's still in? besides gli and wuku (l think)
