lt's alot harder for mu to pin bang down than most others due to his extra airdash, and although 2c is good the recovery is lol. his nails are also something that is hard to deal with if command laser isnt near enough to beat them. her j.c is pretty fast and it outranges his normals if he tries to get in with no support. from what l tested, mu may have a slight advantage midrange where she's good at (5c is pretty bs now). when command laser is out it's even worse, he cant really 2d out for free because of random lasers (good mu's confirm!), and 5c recovers before she can be hit for some more hitconfirms. 5b gives her problems as well as tk nails (beware of 5/6c of course) l feel that if he can get her in his clutches he can run dat ass just like in cs, only she can zone him out a little better. lf he can confuse her with ground/aerial approach and not allow her to set up, he'll be alright, from what l played/tested.

it's like this: matches are either really good, or pretty bad. at least for me. the times it actually did lag, it lagged horribly. better than no good matches at least: l feel like it improved overall.

thank you oh so very much for offering. :3 i'm not really a quality fiend myself, but it's what you decide ultimately.

can anyone her upload replays from psn? l have a pretty decent match of how mu's midrange game works (and why it is dangerous... finally :D) not the best since l dropped her awhile ago, but i'll probably learn a little here and there and dick around with her on some days.

l see, l see. thanks for answering. ara video was oddly entertaining.

rachel gets alot of heat from damn there every combo. theres almost never a time l dont have a bbl ready to fry non-loli ass... (back to corner) 6a CH dash 5b j.c 2d dj.2c (lv2) land 2a whiff dash under ~ route 1: 5cc oki (note that you wont be deep in the corner, so you may have to improvise a bit from there) - 1 wind, 2477 dmg, gain 18 heat route 2: 5b j.c dj.2c (lv2) land 2a (whiff) 5cc oki -2 wind, 2923 dmg, gain 25 heat route 3: 5b j.c dj.2c (lv2) 236b j.c dj.c j.214c bbl 5cc oki - 2 wind, 50 heat req, 4088 dmg, gain 38 heat you can actually do route 3 midscreen, and after bbl you can do 214a 236a 3c(1) 214c 236a (frog hits) 3c(1) 214c 3c(1) for 4238 dmg and 47 heat back. havent recorded wind gain, l never remember. oh well.

are you maining or subbing her tbolt?
-
how do you guys usually continue a combo from a far away crouching opponent or otherwise unreachable opponent - with or without use of a wind? for instance, after a (5b 2b) x2 6b one can do j.3db j.c, land and finish the combo, but it dosen't work on characters who are crouching, and 5cc is inconsistent at this range. 6cd sometimes catches on, and 3cd does often but l don't feel another wind is needed just for one 3c. i'm wondering if it's more plausiblle to reset if l can't reach them, but idk.

well gl to you guys. congrats cor.

some insight in that article... btw that is an excellent idea for a drinking contest.

ggs to everyone this weekend, thanks stickbug for letting us crash and biscuits for driving. everything went good, and l finally got to try my loli against real people <3
-
nah mashing is actually very bad in this version. ib is just like gg. although jumping out still seems to be a concern (still!!!). you gonna have to know your shit if you're not top, even they don't catch too many breaks.

ahaha, l don't! my bad, l didn't test the combo before l posted, and l kinda forgot how it worked for a second there (there are frog combos where you do have to dash buffer though.) editing now. kotokot the combo l was referring to isn't midscreen, it's a combo extension in the corner. l just used 6a CH as an example, but the typical corner combo would be something like: l still haven't figured out how to do this consistently against everyone but hopefully someone does. it's a 1 wind, solid 3k with pumpkin + frog oki. (this is the one where you have to buffer the dashes)
-
l cant react to green throws offline either, however when l suspect someone is about to throw me, l jump/backdash/dp if applicable. you don't necessarily have to throw break all the time unless the situation is forced on you, which is pretty rare outside of certain characters. (throw break is probably the safest option though, if you can react.)

idk what you're trying to do exactly, but im going to take an educated guess and assume you mean the standard corner frog bnb. if you're attempting the standard ground combo, it shouldnt be too difficult. example: 5b 5cdc 214a 3c(1) 236a (frog hits)... there isn't any dash buffering, my bad. but, if it helps you could buffer the 3c right before george's recovery ends. as for frog combos after level 2 j.2c... well they're very timing heavy and character specific, but basically you want to time the second c in 5cc so that the opponent falls and gets hit under the bottom half of the umbrella. example: 6a CH dash 5b j.c 2d dj2c(lv2) land 2a (whiff) 5c(whiff)c 214a dash 3c(1)... im sure the latter isn't what you're looking for, but just in case.

a good rachel is very good at causing both danger and gc states. her pressure is incredibly safe and some attacks are specifically for eating barrier guard alive such as 3[c] and 6c. she still has 5 primer blockstrings as well, but as a whole gc got alot slower since the introduction of primers, so theyre not very often used anymore. better off trying to force danger state, because if she can, she pretty much won that round. (this applies to everyone but rachel excels in the mixup department)

well, l was supposed to be calling xaq tomorrow to go to his house but idk what he's going to do. l guess if he decides to come then ill be there too (if thats alright), but l usually dont know anything until the last minute so l just go with the flow.
