  4. i thought a feint was where an attack looks like its about to come out but can be cancelled mid way through into something else. like litchis 6 the attack appears to almost go active but stops mid way. hakumens 4C cancel gives itself away by not going right back to idle position it actually shows him slowly putting the sword down.
  5. yeah how did feint pop up? its a cancel and from how slow it is, i dont think itll be all that useful than csex 4C tbqh. at most and if done fast enough it could possible save you from a wrong guess.
  6. nah i mean as a set up. im more than positive the combo wont go further past renka kishuu OD something. when they tech you are very close to them, at the advantage with super mugen already active is what im getting at.
  7. holy wall sphincters! the made it even EASIER to combo into it. we could do some ol bs like grab>mugen>renka>kishuu>OD>tear their face off.

  9. from what i can tell and whats been analyzed, i dont think hakumen actually uses any form of ars magic outside of the passive effects of the susanoo unit and Ookami. and from what was discussed prior it seems ookami isnt even functioning yet because its missing its core (a soul). so from what i can guess hes either using zanshin/kokujin as a natural sword and hand to hand combat form in its most natural sense , no magic involved just crazy samurai bs, or the susanoo boosts his normal fighting capabilities to the extent he can do this. other than that he hasnt show having any real super natural abilities past the swords passive effect of sealing off healing factors and killing otherwise immortal creature either by cutting them off from their source completely or creating a barrier within the incission to stop regeneration. Oh and cutting time and space to look at other possible outcomes.

  11. i too want to know more about the sankishin family. all i remember so far is Susanoo slashes time, Tsukuyomi protects it, Amaterasu alters it. its like its trying to follow the 3 basic world laws of creation, alteration and destruction. its interesting to say the least.
  12. yeah hop tsubaki has become the new ID on wake up. people expect it and once they see it they start mashing. hop renka stabs faces. so does 2A>tsubaki. rage inducing stuff.
  13. alot of my pressure utilizes things like 2A x 2 or 3>5C. kishuu in to continue, i mix around with stuff>5B>6B or 6A>2B, empty jump grab/2B> 2A/B>tsubaki, sometimes i hop hotaru to see if they are mashing, cross over tsubaki, hop hotaru jump cancel over them into jB cross up. weird shit.
  14. i lol'd whats are some good falling jB rising JB set ups? or iad ja jB set ups? so far i can do them both on knock down or off a blocked 2A/B 5B in the corner.

  16. figured you'd show up, i didnt caption because i thought you'd think otherwise but i guess not. no i dont mean you, im talking in general, during games on psn all around the forums not you personally. i had hoped you would't have taken it that way. i wish you didn't. im mostly speaking about pms, psn messages, chat discussions, general forums etc. i don't put words in peoples mouths as doing so only heats a discussion the wrong way. hope this clears that up.
  17. you took it the wrong way and i did use the wrong wording in my rush out the door. someone with a deep understanding of hakumen is appreciated but at the same time its come down to too many people simply claiming "I PLAY hakumen" (this could literally mean anything from actual SUB to someone they just pick every once in a while and win off stupid rewards) and some use this as an excuse to brush off any claims that too go against what they believe. the problem is i used the wrong wording but also using "i play X character so i know how stupid X is" has started to become more of an unchallengable excuse than a legitimate claim. if they sub hakumen thats fine dandy if they pick up hakumen day 1 and become a god by day 2 thats fine too, but using the claim as a means to somehow void or nullify someone elses statements without a real reason, statistics, even sheer numbers or match outcomes, (ease of use woluld even be acceptable in my book woud) is just plain stupid/arrogant/ or an outright lie just to win. its the more round about way of saying no matter what you play hakumen and are not allowed to discuss or even claim he has a weakness.

  20. right before i forget to mention: theres nothing WRONG with this it just means its hard to hit people with a more prominent attack, aand less amount of times to do so. vs defensive players who know hakumen this can get really tough and then you HAVE to work off of their self created mistakes, instead of making them create a mistake.
  21. thats exactly the problem. i had the honor of fighting a hakumen who fights almost exactly like me and it game me some deep insight on hakumens strengths and weaknesses. wall builder type players (me for example) dont like taking absurd risks, especially against certain character types where they dont have to guess as accurately as we do. vs characters whose projectiles curve, home in, auto target, auto correct without haveing to time it properly, characters whose pokes are not only longer but have much safer range and even to some extent crushes their hitbox so it makes it harder to challenge them. his spacing is good at a specific minimum/maximum range, you need tog ain the life lead since him taking initiative is dangerous considering how decently easy it is to block or even mash out his pressure/overhead attempts. fighting dreikoo, Soul, minoru, and 9ball and talking to them about it at the time i once thought hakumen was unbeatable as he was made out to be by other non mains until they made me sit down and think. hakumen needs to be played intelligently, accuractely a little moreso than others, there are something he isnt suited to do automatically, then enemy needs to be conditioned into allow you to do it. vs certain match ups this becomes difficult to near undoable considering how they play vs how you do both character and the player themself. even if the enemy doesnt make the right descision the usually dont suffer as hard, usually mind you. where as making a wrong guess as hakumen can not only make you look stupid but put you in a serious mess you may not be able to turn around, player skill withheld. thats a moot point. those are all within reaction speed and mashout speed. its not the fact they the move itself is easy to block, they are "fast" because the attacks dont give themselves away like say Kys greed sever or ragnas guantlet hades. its the set itself which gives away the attempt to do it. much like makoto, ragnas 6B attempt, bangs 6A,5c. theres only so many things they can do to use those while attempting to maintain the advantage to allow themselves to do it. hakumen has less of these without truly going on the random side, considering the fact he cant just microdash, gatlin into them meaning theres a distinctive pause off ground attempts. falling JB rising JB fuzzy overhead set up requires you get them to block the falling jB. thats pretty hard vs certain characters and player.
  22. nah the command grab thing is just a long running ct joke i had going. i mostly do it just to push peoples buttons, it works too often. but you are right though hakumens mixup is very flimsy and 1 dimentional. He gets a good amount of his power from the opponents respect. once they really figure him out it gets very hard, so you have to rely on poking or hitting them out of their pressure/approach attempts. D is there but its more of a scare tactic than an actual combat tool. it WORKS mind you but its not something that can or should be used often since its poison to the user. its something alot of players dont seem to understand, its universal for all characters but other characters dont spend resources doing the same thing, gatlins allow for faster sometimes safer frame traps as well. some of his anti mash specials are seriously expensive for something they may not even be doing. so it comes done to serious fundamental play. we have an answer to almost anything the problem is timing your answer correctly under various situations that can range from sure fire to 50/50 chances.
  23. oh right while i was mentioning specific people, this guy ^ is one of those people that do that uncommon thing called listening and proper analysis. and you arent weird, i know full well how power housed haku is, and i love it. my problem lies with me as a player.
  24. very informative but it'll fall on deaf ears (eyes). im guilty of parading around hakumen as god status (cuz he is, his holyness). In all seriousness only a hakumen main can understand what you are saying, now there will be people popping in saying they PLAY hakumen so they know x and y but they dont MAIN him, they just know the general idea of him. Not the true ins and outs, weaknesses and strengths. people either see damage, tourny rankings, or something insane pops up like that corner OD combo then its all hail mary from there. no one even mentions hazamas 10-11k combo in the corner. its just conclusions and hype, its very nice and appreciated that you posted but honestly do you think anyone besides specific people and mains are actually going to listen?
  25. problem is each 1 requires a specific response. so in the end its a guess. i understand the things toan does, i even scored multiple CH 6As in the corner because of it, its midscreen im having a huge issue. its getting late, i need to be somewhere in 4 hours so ima ship off now. later and thanks for the advice.
