  1. use a high active normal or special. mu has alot of those, i think i even saw ablecru? hit a tager out of backdash with 5C, 6C and j2C. maybe it wasnt abelcru but ive seen it. haku 6c stops it, you have normals that can stop it. it just needs to be timed. (IN A GOOD FUCKING CONNECTION)
  2. still in ohio just further north. 13 minutes north of where i lived originally. ggs to King, im glad to see you are learning the match up you even took a few rounds off of me. you are learning to mix up your approaches and block strings though i still noticed a few sameys. tripping hakumen is is a strength relius has in spades. ggs man. also idk ask NeoGio for some help hes the relius that destroyed me, it took everything i had to take a round off of him, he was using things i never seen before. it was AWESOME!
  3. im on any time send a Fr to skip the extra work. trust and believe im not even a good relius, i know how harsh it is but when you gain momentum it gets more and more dangerous to hit D.
  4. there actually is, the problem i seeing alot of growing relius players are having is you are throwing out things that i can react to. basically we'll say it this way Val Lyras if i drive or block it youll can still iad twoards me as long as you arent too close when i drive youll be at the advantage. taking a drive guess vs relius is not something id advise anyone to do, you could easily 214D and ill get killed because i took a dumb guess. the way you pressured tager is actually the right way to pressure hakumen except 1 small thing if you 2D dash at me to push me towards the tip so it becomes air tight, theres nothing i can do. theres a way in you probably just dont know how yet. i play my relius vs soul suicides hakumen (who is instincts are better than mine) i still found ways in, iad 214B drops the doll on him, falling jA. also just running in works. i know what you are thinking, but he can just hit D, no a smart haku will not do this only bad/lucky ones will. taking a blind guess on a run in is stupid, it deters but its not as reliable as hitting C. your 5B and 6D are decent ways to shut me down since im careful as is, VERY careful. also its not that your block strings are bad, you are using the wrong ones vs a very dangerous character. you are probably used to 5B etc 3C 214A or 5C 6C 214A since other characters cannot punish you for doing that. i can. 2D, 214B, j214B, 5B, 5C, all your As are good tools vs hakumen, they are too fast to react to and im not one to take risks. but using the doll repeatedly for example: 214A>214A (why od this if im across the screen?) if you know im going to sit there you are wasting meter. 214B use got me to block more than i usually do. 5B and your block strings had me blocking until i saw an opening or something disjointed. you fought in such a linear manner that i didnt have much to adapt to. im not good myself so something like iad JA 6A would have got me hit. grabs, ive finally gotten used to teching them properly for the most part i can get it 80% so you'll really have to trick me into it.
  5. ggs to koopa, daisey and king. koopa idk whats happened to our connection but i think its because i moved and got a new ISP. ggs daisey you are showing signs of improveent and being a little more patient while blocking. ggs king its been awhile since i played and fought a relius but heres some tiny pointers, dont Id Hass during a block string hakumen can 6D it on reaction. if you 2D do it at the very tip of the attack, i wont have time to 6D out, Val Lyras iffy i didnt bother Driving it since you didnt IAD in afterward but it can be drived. Duo Bios is a dangerous thing to use on haku unless you cleany set it up and either Led Lay through me to cause a cross up and iad over after start up. Val Tus 2nd hit can be ibed and the 3rd can be 6D'd like i did. becaureful. i realise fighting hakumen is a chore and a half but its doable. ggs gentlemen. you can sense blood lust through netplay? :O I ENVY YOU!

  9. thats pretty much what i ment, its the fact that very often jp or not if someones suspecting tsubaki they start mashing. Its because tsubaki has become so commonly used that people anticipate it now. and then i throw out zantetsu and the get smashed. im seeing it alot in jp vids, either fuzzy 5A zantetsu or 2B zantetsu set ups. its not safe and definitely not fast but the element of surprise is whats been killing players vs hakumen. just like with his drive being nerfed hes still landing it.
  10. no not at all, blade clears up my confusing wall. this is what i ment. also everyone has always been free to zantetsu, idky they didnt use it more in the other cs iterations its really good. tk tsubaki has become so main stream people expect hakumen to throw it out now. players werent conditioned to tangle with zantetsu, so no ones really expecting it too much right now.
  11. im not understanding your confusion. Hakumens drive is just blockable it never lost the ability to counter projectiles and the like.

  14. think about it. do you know what the fuck will happento hakus block strings? imagine mugen block strings that go on forever until you get hit. gurren, renka 1 or 2, tk hotaru>tsubaki/renka/zantetsu that infinitely revolve until you either get lucky or die. all of that hate~ feed me. but no tsubaki is a very annoying character if played by someone who really knows tsubakis strengths. its hard to get her off you, very hard. Its because you cant tell when and where its safe to press a button.
  15. i apologize psycofang niisama god guru? also why do people complain about hakumens meter gain? i dont get it, i get options for sitting, and lose them upon use. can you imagine a weaker hakumen with free specials? but no seriously i just want a day where they drop hakumens damage to 3k mid and 3 to 4 corner and make his moves free. actually drop it to 2k mid and 3k corner. you will all complain hes hax.

  17. i can imagine alot of characters: delete Tsubaki yayoi, kill noel off in ct, tagers magnetism, litchi herself, hazama himself, mu shouldnt exist, hakumens D and hotaru, ragnas whiff 2C, jins inferior so no one cares, carls inferior, valks instant overheads, everyones unreactable overheads, get rid of george, etc etc. its simply a bother because you get hit by it and NO ONE SEEMS TO REALISE RENKA LEADS TO MORE DAMAGE but hey. i wish i had the gull to pull of gold haku but instead i stay old man green, brown and grey. because im old.
  18. then why would he say hakumen or tsubaki. that is weird, why not say hakumens' tsubaki. even then i refuse to believe the character i main is to be guaged vs his ow move set, tsubaki is his own move forged from his lover. if you hate hakus tsubaki hate hakumen and blame Tsubaki for dying. YOU MUST HATE THEM BOTH FOR THEY ARE ONE AND SYMBOLIC TO EACH OTHER.

  20. it is isnt it? its a huge refresh from the constant self put downs that dont do anything but fish for petty compliments and advice thing. also i refuse to believe hakumen is on the same teir of annoying as tsubaki, hakumen MY MAIN is FAR superior and annoying. he does, hes a cool guy.

  23. we fought in cs1 and had a 1st to 10 in cs2 where you quit halfway through. i think we fought one time in early csex. and whenever i won you said and i quote "you are a hakumen that knew combos, i was dead from the start" or something very close to that. we can play whenever though. later tonight.
  24. EDIT: let me clarify, he cannot combo after the CATCH, he has to FC enam you off the drive itself before 5K becomes possible. Catching is now a safe choice with low reward. you can but thats a hell of a dumb risk you are taking by doing that and so high in the air its asking to get countered with an AA. it can only be canceled at a certain height. so tk agito tsubaki wont work. air agito is dangerous as is, people are just getting hit by jB because they havent figured out block agito AA jB yet. and either haku will be forced to block or make a huge risky guess. also counters only lead to 5k if 1 you hold A while countering for a fatal counter enma which, if the enemy recovers means you are at -19. you have to drive slower heavier blows now or risk getting hit/blocked. 2 you need alot of meter at least for a zantetsu to up the damage and CT to boost it further unless you want lower damage and end the fc combo. 3 also tsubaki outside a Ch is useless now. it simply slams them into the ground, it cant be comboed off of with out a launcher aka hotaru. so you NEED 5 stars to commit to a tsubaki combo. also hakumen can still negate projectile pressure wether he could grab you or not, hitting drive negates this completely it always did. yukikaze that is all. people getting grabbed was a side effect of not not paying attention, people are STILL getting grabbed despite the nerf because they STILL arent paying attention. the only real nerf we got was 6Ds start up was increased from 1f to 10F
