  1. its does. 120 frames i believe. anyway i dont really have much of a question to ask you lk, never have probably never will. this is my not so much of a real gameplay question: when you get better how do you know? what does it take to get better and "be" better? not just playing others, this helps only so far but you yourself in general, how do you get gdlk rection, abare, and hit confirms that alot of elitists love to spout about? (not calling anyone out) id like to know realistically what it is that makes a good player a good player and what types of training and growth. ive been practicing my reaction speeds, ive gotten much better, ive practiced my hit confirms, also so much better now. and yet in the ned i never "feel' like ive gotten better. i always feel theres something else i am missing? abare? well im no much of a random person. but ive been trying to be within reason. do you think you are good? why? what do you have that seperates you from others? besides the obvious. i honestly believe there are more underlying fundamentals and reasons, thoughts or so, that make a player better than others. answer at your convenience. dont say you arent good otherwise ppl wouldnt flock to you so much asking the same questions over and over.
  2. i tend to stop caring in the 1st 10 seconds. not caring lets me get in and do some hurt. then i turtle if i think i can get away with it.
  3. Thing is I feel you arent really supposed to try and cut his chains, especially when hes up in the air the camera zooms in on him and you cant see yourself, this messes with the ability to reliably cut chains on reaction. My best advise is just to block and ,if you feel you can, 5A/B/C him. if he does it from far enough away block stun will end long before he gets there. too close and its a hard guessing game, though i believe 5a will win. Double kishuu enma sounds expensive just to hit him, most hazamas i fight use D~B/D~C to avoid geting enma'd. Kishuu by itself can be a dangerous tool to land a hit depending on how well you read the enemy and his/her habits. for ex: hazama jumps 1D (chain) you block it hazama uses B version of chain pull in to avoid any hotaru/enma 5A/B shenanigans, you kishuu (delay) and 5C. this has scored me more counter hits then i can count, on hazamas that did know what they were doing. hazama 5D~D puts him in air status so instead of wasting 3 stars why not just use 1? ex: hazama 5D~Ds in, if you IB'd or if they did it from far away use kishuu>5A. or just block and 5A their approach. you will land something good for only a star to practically free damage. long range chain ins with a jb (5D~D jB) can be 5a'd. if they attack alot on chain ins use a drive, perferbaly 6/2D depending the the corner situations. 6A is also a viable tool. if they dont use normals to stuff their approach.
  4. some peple use that as a legit requirement to block out the rest of psns bad connections. if it really was a 3 then he/she or the family was on the net, they were being leeched? too many variables take place after the initial requirement. and i really dont understand how any of you are having a hard time joining rooms, i joined 3 or 4 then invited a few friends. fought random rooms all night and im apparently well known as "The angry hakumen" because i run in on them all day. I found th rooms to be quite easy to find, only trouble you may be having is if you are nit picking between 2-3 connections then getting angry when they get blocked out. ggs to said rooms and that crazy relius player, whose name i forget, something like kyusuke? or something. ggs ya bastard. ggs to everyone else i played recently. Remius where do you live and we can see if we can play.
  5. GGs to etc lets play more matches and so on. yours idk whats going on, all others have stayed the same. even souls, and souls jumps all over the damn place.
  6. ok im on whenever, set a date and time and we'll play.
  7. despite netcode changes my connections have never once changed. it makes me wonder about a few things though in all honesty i believe its mostly people in general and not the netcode.
  8. sorry to say mac i agree with zeth, the netcode changes arent that big really. with enough clean up i can play ppl in florida and texas with playable delay. like a 2 and higher. then i get someone who lives about 30 minutes from me by car and we experience unplayable lag. it seems its more dependent on the persons setup and variables involved with bandwidth usage than it is with "just the netcode"
  9. I want to play arcana with someone, online. get online somebody, i enjoy free booty.
  10. ggs to everyone i played over the last couple days. ggs to tao players and her fast retardedness. ggs to getting bodied errwere ah goe.
  11. naw you're cool man, my jins...weird. lets play again sometime.
  12. Its fine you had no idea. so you played like you should have. lets fight again later.
  13. chicken blocking? arent you setting yourself up for wolf 5B mash fests doing that? I find simply spacing them out works. wolf dash can be canceled at any point by 1/9C to bait out punishes. whle he is doing this he is very vulnerable to 5A 5B and 5C (rarely). 6A is a god send vs that feint. i find the match up to be a more spacing game than much else. i do agree about being mobile. stay modile to keep wolf bs off you.
  14. Toa matchup is scary for me. idk what to do besides block and pray to god i get a gap big enough to land 5D. also i seem to break greens more often but i cant break purple grabs at all now. all i see is safe safe safe buttonz buttonz buttonz fuck my life. Tao matchup the movie. ggs XDest. ggs to nineball i finally beat him in a very close 5th round, he comes back and beats me twice. least its not all perfects and helplessness anymore. ggs. also sory din i got caught in a loading loop in rank when you sent those invites. i tried to rush the fight vs that koopadoopa person or try to get him/her to kill me faster but eh rachel... so my bad.
  15. what do you mean? we should all have the same colors. you need to unlock those said colors via gallery mode.
  16. ggs to everyone ive played in the last week or so. Psycofang plays Journey Plays with white cloak Meets a Red cloak In perfect sync with each other Keeping each other flying in midair for minutes at a time Singing/Talking sessions all over the place Finish the games together no disconnects Psycofang mains hakumen Players met along the way: Yukikaze1618 MFW
  17. i think what he/she means is if hakumen uses his 6A and the opponent blocks it, hakumen is stuck in 13 frames of hit stun while the enemy is stuck in 16 frames of block stun. I believe what he is also saying is hakumen can cancel his 6A on frame 3 into 6B.
  18. yo if you need some help give me some categories on combos. like 5D starters or starters off 2B or something. specials and w/e ill experiment post data or pm it to you. im here to help whenever i can bro.
  19. heres what you should know, hes not a brain dead mashy character. He takes some time and patience as alot of his combos are not gattlins, they link through jump and ground cancels. Hes much more versatile in extend so its a good thing you picked him up now, and somewhat bad in certain regards. hes a character that gets as good as you do. if you know and maintain your fundamentals you will go far. his game at the beginning is spacing until you gain enough stars to do something, either between 2-4 in adequet to gain control. or you could safely play a rush down though its dangerous to some degree if you are new. if you are close by we could train for a bit and i can give you some help. check out the hakumens frame data http://www.dustloop.com/wiki/index.php?title=Frame_Data_(Hakumen_BBCSE) and his combos since most cs2 combos work in csex. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?12656-CS2-EX-Oki-Mix-up-and-Set-ups-Thread for a better understanding of hakus inner workings. also practice in challeneg mode. it helps greatly.
  20. beginner combos hm? beginner as in? easy to do? comfortable combos with little to no effort? step by step moderate damaging combos? or just optimal all around?
  21. despite all in all of the learning process. if you want to get better its best to set a limitation regiment for yourself. on top of the fact if you do want to get better -stop trolling- just try to be as serious as you can if you can. dont be too serious or youll just anger/frustrate yourself. but concentrate enough to learn the timings. to gain the muscle memory you need to sonsistently land the starters and actually do these combos in game requires you to let go of some of your old tactics and learn better solid tactics. and fight vs training dummy and humans. not saying you do it 24/7 but as a beginner you are where i once was. after you get it all down then you can choose where you want to be if you arent already where you want to be.
  22. i dont think it has true full body invincibility (DP level) i think the invincibility kicks after a certain amount of frames in only vs projectiles while we still get the head/body invul vs physical attacks. noel drives...idk, im unsure which is more dominant in her drives, projectile or physical. if projectile takes the highest priority in her drives then hakumen may be able to kishuu through as an entry. even then this still sounds skeptical.
  23. last 2 posts made me lol. now in all seriusness i have a question, ive been grinding the 2D>late iad>jA>jB>etc for the longest and can barely get it to work. an vids on that? ive been ib 2ding alot lately so ill need all the mag i can squish out of it. also the renka(1)>kishuu>2C>hotaru combo i cant even begin to iad off the hotaru. suggestions?
  24. the way i see it from how they are appraoching this, i dont think they see it as wasting stars, they see it as possibly trapping the enemy, more damage than they wanted, too easy corner push? i dont think they are thinking from a hakumens perspective but from a bit a skewed balance perspective. if something looks too strong without knowing the reasoning behind such things as well as the backlash or bad consequences of such actions, they will only see it as a 1 wayed advantage. i was acually counting the days when theyd remove it, its wasting stars to us but to them its a really long repeating combo they see as too strong. 23 hits. lol.
