I don't know about that. I'm pretty sure if BB's throws didn't suck and were instant like GG throws, Bang's painfully slow command grab would be thrown out of all the time, or Bang would find it much more difficult to land. Game mechanics make his slow command grab better than it actually is.

I'm saying you react to set ups. Like, there are certain set ups you could possibly react to if you are expecting them. Unfortunately it's hard because there are 1) a lot of them, and 2) you put yourself at risk when trying to get out of them. That's what mix up does.

Okay. Here's the thing, you big dummies. A 14 frame command grab is slow as fuck. You CAN react to it, but what you are reacting to is the set up for the command grab, not the command grab itself. Bang does have a lot of stupid mix up to make it easier to land the command grab, but that's how command grabs during pressure work. Sometimes you'll see through the set up and react, other times you won't. For example, in GG, Sol's command grab is four frames start up. "Four frames, you say?! That's impossible to react to!" Well, technically, yes, it is impossible to react to, but the set ups are not. Granted Sol's mix up is not as retarded and auto-pilot as Bang's, but you're reacting to his set ups, not the command grab itself. In other words, you're getting hit by... MIX UP. GASP! So shut up about it.

That was a troll post. The tier list was never confirmed to be in that issue. No one knows if there was a recent tier list from Arcadia.

Gonna have to say, trying to finish up a tournament at 5 PM is very unrealistic, especially if we're hoping for a lot of people to come. I don't really know what else we have to work with, but SJSU sounds like a bad idea.

Are you sure you're reading it right? You just said Lambda vs Tao was 4.5-5.5. And then you said in CT, the match up was 5.5-4.5 in Tao's favor. That means nothing has changed.

No, the last Arcadia tier list had Arakune in B tier. Not sure if another one was ever released after that. In terms of standards, C tier is still mid tier. A lot of characters that are mid tier in 3S have awful match ups with top 3, but are still considered mid.

B tier is not low tier. lol~ C tier isn't even low tier. This was a JP match up chart from Januarary, and I doubt top tier's match ups have worsened. Arakune probably moved up. Other than that, the game hasn't changed much at all. Bang still might be leading in match ups. Yeah, it's been a long time since we've heard of any kind of "official" info from either Arcadia or JBBS, but the game has, more or less, plateud in terms of evolution.

Bang is slightly better than Litchi in terms of match ups, but both are quite retarded for different reasons.

Man, you guys need to chill the fuck out about Evo staff turning off the TV when BYOC was closed. Cut them some slack. They didn't know a tournament was being run, and BYOC was getting closed. They have a schedule to go by. Yeah, it does suck, but get the fuck over it. You can't blame them for trying to keep a schedule, so quit being god damn babies about it. In case you guys forgot (well, most of the GG community wasn't even there to begin with because the community is full of lazy dick bags with egos that don't show up to an event when the community needs it most), Evo staff, in 2008 when GG was a side tournament, actually let us stay past midnight to let us finish our side-tournament when everyone was getting kicked out of the hall and BYOC. I think we ended up finishing at 12:15 AM, and the hall was completely empty except for the people that stayed to watch GG singles grand finals. Even some of Evo staff watched and even got a bit hype for it. Are you running a 3000 person event practically all by yourself with minimal help from community members to run pools? Oh? You aren't? You're just a player that came to BYOC, probably didn't enter any of Evo's games, thusly getting to be inside the Evo hall for free? If so, SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT IT. Evo staff is not out to get the GG community and never has been. I thought this was squashed last year, but some stupid people in the community still think that is the case. Get the fuck over yourselves. The community is not special. The community and GG is not any more important than any other game. Stop acting like idiots and get over it. With such a horrible attitude, it's no wonder GG is dead in America... and I'm fucking glad it is because people are so god damn full of themselves. Also, the guy who turned off the TV (based on what I can tell what he was wearing), is probably THE nicest guy on Evo staff, so fucking get off his dick.

Cool, then we can have a girl's only tournament because girls have vaginas and we all know having one means you can't play video games and require special treatment.

Sadly, it's hard to try and revive a community that has never cared enough about itself. Too much apathy since the start, and the past several years have been the worst. There are people that still care, but they're a small collection of people spread throughout the US. Not only that, I doubt many people have the resources for such an event. ;(
