You guys remember the Classic Games Done Quick event from Magfest that I streamed at my apartment during a gathering...last year I think? They're doing that again this year, and the game lineup now has more modern stuff like MGS, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil 1-5, Bayonetta, etc. http://speeddemosarchive.com/marathon/

Same deal here. I think one of the ones I used to go to just opened back up recently, but it probably just has ticket games, Galaga and Daytona USA or something like all the other ones that are still around. There's a few Midway or Namco arcades in NC that will have like one MK machine and SC2 or something, and there's one in Fayetteville that has some Capcom games but I dunno the current state of that place. A BLAZBLUE cab here would be like...impossible. No one around here would have anything more current than like 2002, except for some folks who have private collections. Our Raleigh anime con in May every year has a game room that sports Japanese cabs, so that's the closest you'll get around here.

Hey, you're the guy that posted on Meltybread. There's another Greensboro tournament like the last one I talked about for this weekend. I don't think I'm going personally. I get gamed out easy and NEC was this past weekend. I could do a gathering like, next Friday...since Friday is good for most of us. Too bad the Residence was booked up for so long.

So this guy was playing Melty at NEC. I was telling people he was from the Internet and hacking the game. Pretty good Ryougi player though. I don't know how he got 33rd. He was the only guy I got to Last Arc though.

Austin, I can't right off remember the people I beat in teams except Brandon, but in singles I won against Marv, Bellreisa and Mindgame, lost to Brandon and ComicZ. Super was just...a huge crowd of people being yelled at. I think I asked everyone their names, but I usually got real names iirc and I don't remember them all now. I do remember the characters: Abel, Rose, Balrog, Deejay, Fuerte...and then losing to Sagat and Bison. I could have beaten LIJoe, I had a chance to move and make decisions and all that. vs Jeron, I was sitting in the corner eating normals and scissors. I knew the match was bad, but I felt almost completely shut out.

Blake and Matt indeed went pretty hard at NEC. I did too though lol, just not in GG or BB.
