I'm not sure if it's a haha funny type gag or a reflex type gag, but either could apply. So I went to Bali again last night and tried my 3-bowl theory. The results: Price with two bowls: 15.28 Price with three: 15.60 And I got more food with three, so that's what I'm going to use now. I have no idea how they calculate this. I never called them, but I did talk briefly with some of them while I was there (the young nerdy guy said I was going over 9000, but didn't know I was actually being charged more, told me something like it was the cashier's discretion maybe?). I just get way more than most people, Doug gets a pretty good amount of food but still pays the $11 or so with his two. Anybody can call them up and ask about this if they want, it doesn't bother me enough lol. It's only fair really.

Well...that's a possibility, we didn't outright discuss it that night. My receipt wasn't itemized. I didn't even look at the check they left at the table, don't think Doug did either. You know, I might just call them so I have the rules straight lol.

It was $15.28, which is considerably higher than the 3 bowl price. 2 bowls is 8.50, 3 is 10.50. Even with 3 bowls, plus noodles (.50 extra), a drink (around $2 I imagine), that's still short of $14 after tax. So I'm just hoping that I'll have -less- of an overcharge if I get three bowls really lol.

Well, my theory is that this wouldn't happen had I gotten 3 bowls. I'll be sure to test that next time I go. Even if they do charge me more, I'm still eating out of it 3-4 times. Jon edit: they didn't say anything this time, but the young dude that cosplays and stuff had been jokingly (at least, me and Doug thought he was joking lol) saying they were going to charge more for excess. He wasn't even there this last time, it was just the girls and Isaac, but yeah...they probably figure that it's mostly unfair that I get this much with two bowls whereas most people that buy 3 are getting less food...plus that they're not making as much money when people like me come in lol. So I'll just try a third bowl next time.

Yeah I know man...I'm trying to save more money, but Embee is pretty good. I haven't been playing fighting games like at all in the last month or two though. I missed signups for Melty somehow last year. Casuals with the Melty scene generally doesn't go too well either. At Evo, people would just get mad, troll and laugh at me with their secondaries (even if they were losing...) or just look down on me in general for being an F. Ries random. People aren't pulling this "MB players are asses" out of nowhere, they don't know how to be very social or just how to let new people in to play. So...I'd miss work to go 2-2 in GG/MB again, not be on a team for anything, get sick of games, be the quintessential "I don't drink" guy, fly home and find out what shit happened at work that I have to deal with. Luckily, I like you guys a lot!
