At starting round distance, Johnny's 6hs will dodge Robo ky's 6p and get a counter hit. While that is a controlled scenario and Robo ky using 6p later on will be at various distances, it is a good thing to know.

Good luck Elven. Sucks that I won't be in Japan until the fall.

Endo was very lol. I liked his chipp, dunno why he picked may that one time. I have to say I'm really curious about this Slayer who just drops half the hard combos he goes for.
-
I've seen both play, and while Koto seems stronger overall, Kuni is still really good IIRC. And yes, Koto is the one that frequents a-cho, while I've only seen Kuni's videos on his blog.

I feel the same way. It was just funny how he is like THE slayer cos nobody calls Ogawa "that eddie guy".
-
I like how everyone is just referring to Niga as "the slayer guy". BLEED really needed to seal the deal in round 2 and just lost it.

sj.d fdc crossover j.s is a good mix-up since XX/#R

Sometimes before Jam can dash in and 2s (if you weren't in blockstun) 5hs, 2hs works really well in stuffing it. 5hs with I-no also has some lower body invincibility and while 2s from jam doesn't hit just low, this may or may not have something to do with it. I think the main reason it works is just because of the length of the hitbox of the move. You can easily tell when predictable Jams will FB. This is the moment to STBT. Stroking the big tree randomly is a bad idea like Feri said. I-no's 5p is amazing in this match at hitting Jam in the air but definitely watch out for Dekirin (214k). You can jump and IB it, normal IB it, backdash it, or just block, but any attempt at anti-airing is really risky. It's best to j.p Jam out of a lot of her stuff BEFORE it comes out.

I-no's 5p, 5k, 5s(close), and 5hs are JCable, and let you Jump Install or tiger knee moves off of them. I-no's hover dash (normal 66) is also JCable, which means if you don't use the jump, you can land, do anything (as long as you don't go back to neutral), and then have it auto-jump installed. I.e. dash, land, 2s (as a low attack), HCL 6FRC6 and this works because you still have the jump from the dash. I hope that clears up stuff.

Wear in your fingers. Then you will not feel pain.

I see what you're trying to do, but I thought 4+S+HS = Slash back.
-
Anything jump cancellable is a spot where you can jump install. If you have a 5p/5k/5s©/5hs in your string, you can push up, then immediately (before the jump happens), do the rest like 2s/2d/2hs HCL 6FRC6 and it will work. During a jump install combo, I believe you have a 2 frame gap to get the dash right, so the timing is somewhat frustrating at first. That's why the 6FRC6 method is so good. As in, press forward as you frc and just push forward one more time, which is much easier than FRC66.

Ken's translation is pretty accurate, which sometimes makes it more funny cos it's so literal. I think you need to explain to him what a forestblazer combo is though...

hey me with bronchitis did really shitty today. look forward to vids ;(

you're also the #1 liar in america

Makes 0 difference except for the height of I-no and the opponent (in relation to each other) during the combo, which may need to be higher/lower depending on what you want to do. There is no other reason I can think of to do one or the other when both choices are available. Obviously if you had a chance to JI, you can combo into HCL 6FRC6 off more, but that's not what we were talking about.

I don't like any of my vids on youtube. I might play recorded matches this Saturday, so look me up then.

I'd hate to keep referencing old games, but I can't think of any AC vid that really demonstrates this match like the old same character match of I-no vs Johnny, and Koichi ended up losing in the end to Muri Shinjuu I think. Amazing set. While it's really the current game that matters, a lot of old matchup info still carries over as far as pokes and zoning goes at least. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRyiUSZF7tw With that said, I'm going to look through my gg vids when I get free time and find something recent that is good too.

Thats akitan (even says so in hiragana but i know from his color and playstyle). Akitou could be his real name or just a mistake, but he always plays under "akitan"
-
I wouldn't do HCL versus Johnny except from farther away because he can 6k/6hs you for big big damage + potential CH combo.
-
why show those vids? GGXX/ Koichi vs Dennou (IIRC) was really good
-
Longer normals. Good air control with j.s, j.d for catching techs, high ass super jump. Johnny just has to be really careful WHEN he does things because of his really long recovery.
-
You'd to have the FRC the falling VLC because it still has a minor landing recovery that would get you hit by the super.
-
I wouldn't call this an easy match at all, (Testament can and will be outzoning you) but it is true that I-no can hit testament across the screen with an HCL when he summons a tree/web. Beasts of both varieties can be FRC'd and there is no guaranteed hit against a cancelled one. I try my best to predict HS beasts which land free combos if jumped over. As far as HS beasts, don't predictably do notes when Testament is neutral because he can nail you for it. TK notes at certain heights are relatively safe.
-
It isn't possible. You do mean 5k right? 5k combos to j.s and even that is VERY hard (has to be perfect timing, and I don't think it combos at maximum range).
