Its true. The match up is even on paper but it doesn't seem like it when fighting him. I guess I need to learn to keep my distance and learn not to fail on baiting DP's. But at least if he dashes after 6C and does DP, 214x should go through it from what I've practiced, at least with the right timing. Or you can block and punish. The only problem I think that most people like me have are approaching him, most Jins I fight are all over the place.

Cancel dash and 3C into DP? Everytime I wait for it he doesn't do it and then he gets to do what he wants. That an all his air moves are stupidly good. This matchup isn't fun at all. All I know is to wait for 6B and 6D but thats about it. If I try to pressure him I get DP'd, and when I drop and block and wait for one, it never comes out.

I remember that one article we had on the front page by 4r5 that explained frame data for Guilty Gear, I'd like to see something like that for BlazBlue as well, exlpaining hitstun, blockstun, how you know you can hit buttons using frame data, etc. I thought that article was a good start and I'd like to see more of that stuff on here. Maybe even in video format with the write up? Like I had a question in the Tsubaki forums as to why if Ragna does 5C>Deadspike in a string, why can't I hit him out of it without being counterhit? It lead to an interesting discussion and made me realize that I can't read frame data. I'd like to see vids and articles covering the core mechanics of things like that. I've noticed this as a problem on SRK as well as my scene. I think we could at least try, but attempt to get the front page of Dustloop pulling in informative stuff for hardcore intermediate players like us as top priority. Besides me not having a scene to grow with, I'm pretty lost as to where to go in my general direction of playing, and I'm sure a lot of us are the same way. Honestly I find tutorial vids on why things work and how they work, and why they're useful rather interesting.

Yeah, Luna does hold casuals and ranbats fairly often. If it weren't for him then the scene would be dead for the time being. I recommend him. -

I got a frame data related question... If Ragna's Dead Spike has 28 frames of startup and he uses 5C before that is -5, why is it that my 5B gets counterhit if I mash out? Kinda derp question but I'm curious. I figure that I could mash him out of startup but that doesn't seem to work with her 5B. -

I see. I was trying to get an easy fancy combo off of airthrow without using the install gauge. I guess we can't have everything right? Thanks for those combos though.

A small find, nothing probably worth noting (probably already been posted before, I just started playing Tsubaki) but: Airthrow>5B>2CC>j.C>j.CC>j.236A>j.214C>Charge 2672 damage, 21 heat. Working on a wall carry version.

Lol, I saw you Dacid on Marvel. They mentioned you as a BB player, which I'm pretty sure surprised the folks who didn't know. And good work on the mic for the stream. As far as rebalancing, give him his 5A anti air back and give him less pushback and I'll main him again. I've been playing Tsubaki lately. I guess you could say justice is blind. Don't blame me for Nezu being my hero. Honestly though, I think the rebalancing is a bit early but if its coming to the Vita then I guess we have to wait for it to hit that first, then the Japanese arcades, then consoles. So theoretically we have a while, I guess.
