  1. Well honestly, the way my thread does it, every thread has a new subtitle, my suggestion has been the only one so far that offers a solid userbase title. For example: Platinum The General: Repping The Luck Arcana Platinum The General: Why Not Cool Your Head A little? Platinum The General: Active Angel Kinda like how the Noel boards became NVG through it's own evolution (it just kind of happened, it was fully embraced during our 9th thread, which was the first one to officially have the label of NVG). We also have nicknames as well, like we are also known as "The Vermillion Vanguard" often times shortened to "The Vanguard" or just "The VV". We're hood like that =w=
  2. Platinum The General
  3. Actually this is pretty much correct. I suppose Shtkn and Pulsr know each other irl and Pulsr expressed interest in modding for Plat.
  4. Brings a tear to my eye.
  5. *Recalls TD's Mu strats when up close* Hmm, well maybe it's just Mu.
  6. Thanks Pkfire. We love you here :3
  7. It's auto-flash, it happens when a Jin player plays Jin.
  8. Jin hates himself so you don't have to.
  9. Alright I did some testing and found some high damaging practical combos off of 2D for both midscreen and corner. These are all haidaless, meaning no loops, but Silencer is involved, the combos will be listed with both the meterless, and 50 heat variations. These were all tested on Jin, but they SHOULD work on all characters, give or take a couple of points of damage for when moves like d.6C don't connect with ever single hit. Normal Hit 2D, Midscreen (4923 Damage, 55 Heat) 2D > d.5C > d.6C > d.2D > d.6A > 214A > 2B > 6C > BC > 6C > 22B > 22BC~66 > 6C > 236A > 66C > j.D > d.6D > d.6B > d.5D > d.5C > Bloom Trigger Normal Hit 2D Midscreen With Super (6006 Damage, -2 Heat) 2D > d.5C > d.6C > d.2D > d.6A > 214A > 2B > 6C > BC > 6C > 22B > 22BC~66 > 6C > 236A > 66C > j.D > d.6D > d.6B > d.5D > d.5C > Fenrir Counter Hit 2D Midscreen (5086 Damage, 55 Heat) 2D > d.6C > d.2D > d.5B > d.6A > 214A > 2B > 6C > BC > 6C > 22B > 22BC~66 > 6C > 236A > 66C > j.D > d.6D > d.6B > d.5D > d.5C > Bloom Trigger Counter Hit 2D Midscreen With Super (6158 Damage, -1 Heat) 2D > d.6C > d.2D > d.5B > d.6A > 214A > 2B > 6C > BC > 6C > 22B > 22BC~66 > 6C > 236A > 66C > j.D > d.6D > d.6B > d.5D > d.5C > Fenrir Normal Hit 2D Corner (5034 Damage, 60 Heat) 2D > d.5C > d.6C > d.2D > Spring Raid > 66C(2) > 6C > BC > 6C > BC > 6C > 5D > Bloom Trigger > 6C > j.D > d.6D > d.6B > d.5D > d.5C > Bloom Trigger Normal Hit 2D Corner With Super(6191 Damage, 4 Heat) 2D > d.5C > d.6C > d.2D > Spring Raid > 66C(2) > 6C > BC > 6C > BC > 6C > 5D > Bloom Trigger > 6C > j.D > d.6D > d.6B > d.5D > d.5C > Fenrir (Note that if you do the second Bloom Trigger, your opponent will be able to tech before the bullets of Fenrir can hit them, due to using both d.5C and Bloom Trigger twice each in the same combo, so it's better to just delay Fenrir after the last d.5C) Counter Hit 2D Corner (5300 Damage, 58 Heat) 2D > d.6C > d.2D > Spring Raid > 66C(2) > 6C > BC > 6C > BC > 6C > 5D > Bloom Trigger > 6C > j.D > d.6D > d.6B > d.5D > d.5C > Bloom Trigger Counter Hit 2D Corner With Super (6488 Damage, 8 Heat) 2D > d.6C > d.2D > Spring Raid > 66C(2) > 6C > BC > 6C > BC > 6C > 5D > Bloom Trigger > 6C > j.D > d.6D > d.6B > d.5D > d.5C > Bloom Trigger > Fenrir Counter Hit 2D Corner With Two Supers (7.2 Damage(Left ambiguous due to how many bullets may connect), -57 Heat) 2D > d.6C > d.2D > Spring Raid > 66C(2) > 6C > j.D > d.6D > d.6B > d.5D > d.5C > Bloom Trigger > Fenrir > Fenrir
  10. Well at least they were honest with Makoto's position.
  11. That sounds exactly like me when I bitch about Noel, and even thought about dropping her, those were dark days. I didn't do it though, in my case it was love for my character, but I mean, you're a Rachel main, so I dunno where Mu fits. I go toe to toe with Omni too, last time we fought I went even with him(Which I can't stop talking about because Omni+Makoto=Noel'snolongeravirgin.jpg) you just gotta have more faith in yourself, take a break from the game as a whole, not just a character, hell I take week long breaks at a time and hop on randomly on a whim and do 150% better than I did before. You're just getting yourself burnt out, I can tell from your playstyle that you need a break from the game, not a long one, just a week, or start a little slower and take a 4 day break or something, either way it will help you mentally, which is 50% of all matchups anyways :P
  12. So you're quitting Mu because you lost to MOTHER FUCKING OMNISSCYTHE using her? lolwow
  13. The main things that scare people about CS2 Noel: BIG NASTY DAMAGE MIDSCREEN better normals actual pressure EVEN BIGGER NASTIER DAMAGE IN THE CORNER THANKS TO FENRIR a legit crossup that leads to... BIG NASTY DAMAGE ANYWHERE some form of oki(even still it IS BlazBlue oki) Crazy heat gain and of course BIG NASTY DAMAGE
  14. Yeah, because you need them sometimes during combos, and against an opponent that isn't just hitting buttons. However for standard low level netplay, I have yet to find a use for them :P But seriously though, don't just D without reason or purpose, just because her drives are her best moves doesn't mean they are GOOD moves, spacing and knowing how to RTSD correctly are very importants and you will get blown up if you don't know them. Also, a Noel's skill level is not in the length of their Haida, but in the girth of their knowledge.
  15. 1. You don't know her pressure strings unless you know how to stagger, and even then, she doesn't really have "Pressure" :P 2. Yes I'll get to that in a second. 3. No such thing as drive pressure, hitting an opponent's guard while in blockstun is only asking to get hit at higher levels of play.(d.6B after a blocked reversal drive works wonders on scrubs, newbs and players who don't like to mash out of everything Noel does though) anyways here are a couple of ways to combo off of normals: 5B(Counter hit) > 3C > 22C > combo 5B(Crouching hit) > 5C > 3C > 22C > combo 5C(counter hit OR crouching hit) > 3C > 22C > combo 2C(Counter hit OR crouching hit) > 3C > 22C > combo 2B > 6A > 6C > j.D > combo 6C(Counter hit) > 2D > combo 6C(crouching hit) > 2C > 3C > 22C > combo 6B > 6C > 2C > 3C > 22C > combo (Safe option for those who don't feel comfortable risking the optimal starter) 6B > 3C > 22C > combo (Optimal combo off of 6B) 3C > 22C > combo 2A(Crouching hit) > 5B > 5C > 3C > 22C > combo 5A(Crouching hit) > 5A > 2B > 5C > 3C > 22C > combo
  16. She has a "Liberal" DP now? perhaps my fears have been cemented even further :P
  17. You mean her BnBs? I'm not sure if Hex knows them :P nah I'm sure he'll send you something practical, if not I'll have to infract him for trolling
  18. I saw some Tsubakis doing IAD crossups, and since 5B has a good level and is jump cancelable, I'm betting they wouldn't be able to mash out or jump out too easy.
  19. Haida loop is a tad overrated, not even I like it, the Rachel only variation though is quite pimpin. When I watch the match I look at neutral, pressure, defense, and hitconfirm > damage off of hitconfirm, CS2 Noel can do crazy damage without the loop, so I'm only gonna loop characters that I want to see suffer, or the aforementioned Rachel variation.
  20. Everything you are experiencing is perfectly normal. Online is a good way to gain basics and all of that kind of thing, but be sure to post in your regional thread to see if there is a serious scene near you, because offline play will always be better than online play, assuming your offline opponents know what they are doing.
  21. Funny how we used the same move as an example too :P
  22. Hey Agi-San-Sama, I thought Pulsr was/was also Mu mod, I do know he's a mod of something, but Mu is not it apparently
  23. it means "while in drive state" for example, d.6B, is Noel's overhead kick while in drive.
