  1. if i wanted to mess about with slayer for xrd preparation, should i go with #r or +r? #r seems closer but +r has more info (but maybe irrelevant?)
  2. Is Fauts springboard unblockable? Haven't seen anyone block it yet. I haven't seen the blitz thing being used that much either. Thought it would be more prominent considering what it does.

  5. If you omit the 6 at the end, you can confirm this with 5B 6A 5B, allowing you to confirm crouching.
  6. The amount of times someone has barrier'd my flash kick in the air only to get hit by the last hit is amazing. I love it. I have a lot of trouble approaching Mu. I can get round her zoning to some degree with a bit of effort, but when it comes to actually approaching her because i've got round steins, 5C and j.2C blow me up usually. Don't really know how to go about punishing 'em. I think 2C might work, but if she dashes up and 5C's you for CH then it's ggs.
  7. I love 6DC but i hate it as well. There is no way to confirm if 6DC CH's and be able to not get punished. Not even an unsafe frame trap to try and stop the initial punish. Well i only tested with ragna honestly, so some characters my have a hard time in punishing max range 6DC 2DA (confirm block) 4D

  9. It should only be 1 or 2 pages back if you are on 10 posts per page :/ How are you guys approaching the neutral game? The fireball seems okay to get people to do stuff like jumping or air dashing over it, but many times you have to run up to catch them while they are still in the air and i seem to have trouble against airborne opponents without a flash kick charged. 6C is okay but you have to do it half predictably since it's so slow especially against anyone with half decent air dash speed. And also, 6C works against air dashes fine, but if they just normal jump and you try to 6C then they can usually airdash back, land and run up and punish you. I think i just need to learn to sit on my charge more and set the pacing. I also get scared to throw out 5C against people with decent airdashes, even though it's a pretty nice move otherwise. The most i usually do is a predictive neutral j.C since if they try to approach they usually get smacked and is a pretty safe option. But i want to hear what everyone else does when trying to play at neutral. Also what do people use for roll pickups?
  10. That's weird. I can't get the 2DA delay 5DA 66 3C to work anymore, no matter how long i delay it. EDIT: nevermind, it was a shorter delay than i remembered.

This is what im doing now Anywhere: FC 5DA 44 3C 2DC 5DA 6DC [2367 +17] FC 5DA 44 3C RC 6C 6DA 2DA 46B 2C 2DB Oki [3601 +13] (if you are approaching the corner you can do 2C 6DC 2DB for 3890) Corner: FC 5DA 44 3C 6DC 2DC 46B 6C 6DA 3C 6DC 2DB Oki [4138 +29] *Just found out that 3C after 44 doesn't work on some people. Only tested Jin and Hazama so far. Works on Jin but not on Hazama. However on Hazama you can do microdash 6B 3C, so maybe that works against everyone? Oh, and for corner 46A oki catch, you can do: 46A 5B 3C 6DC 2DC 46B 5C 2DA delay 5DA 66 3C 6DC 2DB [4047 +29]
  13. So i got completely destroyed by Mu steins zoning. Am i missing something here? I've seen some Mu's do this in match videos, but not for long and they don't really stop because the opponent got the upper hand, so im a bit confused. Sorry for asking for advice against Mu in the Mu forum but i had no idea what to do. I have a feeling that in this case it would be non-matchup specific, but in the matches i played i was playing Kagura. I tried to son ic boom to take away some of the projectiles to gain some ground, but usually just got hit out of it, tried to 6D~C to armour through it; worked sometimes but i either got hit out of startup a lot or the move is just too obvious and makes for an easy punish. I tried to jump and edge my way through but if you block a few steins you are back where you started and if you get hit you get Justice'd and get hit by about 5 more. Only time i really got through was by getting hit and air forward teching to gain ground lol. I was pretty lost.

  16. Almost every Kagura on stream has been doing super low damaging combos. Get out the lab and into the stream lads!

  19. I never got the point of #.5 scale. It's like when you see a game review that is like 8.6/10. Just seems so arbitrary. What kind of difference would make 5.5 to 5? Or 5.5 to 6? It makes even less sense when the disadvantage is greater. It's one thing to say that 'this doesn't feel even' and slap an arbitrary 5.5 on it, but how do you judge a 7 from a 7.5?
  20. I find super jumping off normals really weird in this game. It feels like i have to input the 28 motion during the active frames or there-after, otherwise i just get a regular jump. What's the specifics on super jumping from normals to get the earliest possible super jump?
  21. You could just convert it to the standard low airdash/empty jump low mixup after 5C possibly.
  22. I find that threads really only get out of control when new info comes around; especially when new characters are revealed. I was PMing Circ about it and got a swift answer. (I just realised that my Sent Items don't show up? Is that normal?) However i think the TGS hype thread worked out well enough. I think having shorter gameplay threads won't really stop when threads spiral out of control when it gets crazy for like a day or so.
