Other than just practicing, anyone have any advice on doing TK's on a stick? I'm using a TE with square gates, and am trying to get down TK9. I'm used to TK7 on pad. =/

I'm actually pretty hype about AH3 right now, so more than somewhat interested. Luna and I are definitely getting it when it comes out in Japan.

I was mucking around in training and found a fun and pretty easy way to combo into Legacy Edge. This combo might have already been discovered or might be useless but eh, I thought it was fun. Theres probably better alternatives though. 236C > 236236D > Dash to Corner > [6A > 2147D]x2 > 5B > 6A > j.DD > dj.2DD > j.214D (4441k, requires 50% Meter, Gains 32 Meter) You have to use Legacy Edge at just the right moment as they're falling after 236C so it connects right so you can dash into the loop, but it's not that hard to get right. I also dunno if you can get more reps on the loop or not, I'm not that good at the TK loop so 2 was all I could get before they the dummy techs out or it starts bluebeating...

This game is looking pretty awesome. I haven't played the others but I already know I want this one. Is this game difficult to pick up compared to BB? The system looks very different with homing cancels and such but change sounds good right about now. :3

Pretty much this. It's as distracting as having someone throw a pie in your face while you're trying to play. Anyways, everyone is telling you to play Ragna just because he's easy, but I think in the end you should learn which the character you wanna learn FIRST. All the characters are really diverse, and I find learning a new character almost like starting from scratch again. He's definitely good for learning basic BnBs and game mechanics, but again I suggest you play with who you wanna play. Don't invest a too much time in a character just because they're easy with intent of switching later, cause the combo layouts for the characters can vary greatly and you might find yourself confused again after spending a lot of time with Rags. Example, I mained Lambda, I play her because she's fun. As opposed to Ragna, who I can't use for crap even though he's considered easy, it's because he plays very different from what I'm used to with Lambda. If I wanted to switch to maining him I'd have to start all over at this point. I guess what I'm saying is don't spend too much time with a character just for ease, if you wanna play with someone else, go for it. It's okay to use the easier ones to understand basic mechanics, but otherwise no matter who you pick it's gonna take practice, because no character is truly easy. Easy to use, yes, but execution is only the first step. Once you actually start fight good people you'll find having good execution doesn't matter if you don't know how to use it right. You have to go into training mode and practice. Look up combo videos for your character on youtube, watch matches of your character being used by good players. Take note of how they play, and how it changes depending on who they're fighting. Theres a LOT to learn, you're not gonna get it all in just a short time.

Hey I'm with you. I already said to myself even if any of my characters end up Rachel tier I'd still play them lol. I don't rightly care about tier lists or being high tier or low tier. Having it changed up dramatically sounds cool. It's like getting a new game without having to get a new game.

The type who're whining about the changes, and the type who're whining about those whining about the changes. I love dustloop and it's hysterical endless cycle of whining.

I'm with zaeris. I'm not complaining, I'm just talking about the changes that are currently listed and how they're sorta not so great. I said the last page that even if she went shit tier I'd still play her, because I like this character. Everyone is saying "learn new combos" when I don't think anyone has complained at all about the slight possibility of doing so. I just said that yeah, she's looking meh right now but only until new combos are made. God damnit you people who are complaining about OUR complaining are just the opposite side of the same damn coin. It's not just us, EVERYONE needs to shut the hell up already. Bitching at people for bitching to make them stop bitching makes a lot of sense guys. Anyways..I know loketest talk is speculation. I said earlier that there isn't any way to know ANYTHING about whats really gonna happen. It was just a discussion, but now it's a bitch-fest. Why don't BOTH SIDES...both those complaining about loketest stuff AND those complaining about the complainers STFU now then? Kthx. Moving on now. Discuss ways to work around possible changes instead of whining.

It seems to me though even with the air unblockables, the other currently listed changes still makes her pretty meh-tier unless some new combos are discovered. Not that it matters a whole lot though, they're subject to change anyways.

Basically that simply sums up this: There is absolutely no 100% way to know whats actually gonna happen in the final product. For all we know she could end up CT Nu tier, CS Litchi tier, stay they same, end up CS Rachel or at worst CT Tager tier. There is no way at all to know. Meaning, if we wanna be a little worried at the current changes, we're allowed to feel that way. I personally am not all that panicked, really. I just know that anything can happen. As I said earlier, I am hoping for the best and expecting the worst. I can be happy if good changes happen and not too disappointed if bad ones do.
