So j.2C is looking like it's replaced 3C for our staple move. I was worried, and really really sad about 3C > 2B stuffs being gone...those combos were fun and part of why I picked her up. But that vid made me feel better and she still looks like she'll have some pretty awesome setups. I also love steins possibly being useful in pressure now...x[D] not breaking primers doesn't look like such a big loss if we can safely use 5D > 214D during pressure strings. Habaya not being crap is also awesome. I always liked that move. Also the SoD changes are pretty woah...going into the corner loop from what was almost midscreen was totally crazy...o.O

Just what I was thinking. I know it's early, I guess we'll just have to wait for more updates and for people to discover things...so far all I've seen in those videos is very short low damage combos and steins..steins everywhere... Damn I miss 3C > 2B watching those vids. >>

I'll miss secretly nomming on people's primers by occasionally throwing in that lonely unnoticed charged stein~ Not the greatest tactic but works for a n00b like myself against my n00b friends during casuals lol. Ah well...

That and dash 2B are prolly the most common questions...so the FAQ for those was a good idea. Might be a good idea to explain the double 6B juggle in the FAQ too...since that one is kinda finicky and might end up getting asked a lot...I'm pretty sure I asked that one not long ago myself too...

It's been said before, and her difficulty isn't so much execution wise. It was said it comes more from how much thinking and planning this character requires with her setups and such, to quote Ve, making her one of the most cerebral characters in the game, and I agree with him. Her combos are not that hard, but using her well is difficult. You can't spam her moves as easily as you could with other characters in hopes of getting anywhere. Difficulty is subjective, and this is BB anyways, so no one is incredibly hard I guess. I'd say she's kind of a difficult character to use effectively, but I can't really rate it.

He's already refused practicing though. I'd really just like him to be able to understand what I said, what you said just now and everyone else has said. >.<; That there isn't a secret other then just practicing it. He said it was causing him actual physical pain though, and if thats the case he should at the very least take a break both because of that and cause he needs to calm down a little. He doesn't have to stop all together. I mean if he really does wanna play her then I encourage it but a break would probably do some good, ya know? Anyways, Shinkada...I'm sorry if I sounded like I was flaming you...I really am not. I just want the same thing that everyone else does, to actually help you get this. I just didn't like the constant hinting that all of the advice we were giving you was useless or wasn't good enough...it really is just practicing it till it becomes muscle memory...

Exactly my thoughts on that...I smell bullshit lol. But anyways Shinkada dude, this is getting ridiculous. You don't wanna listen to the advice anyone is giving you, advice from people who know wtf they're talking about. Everyone is trying to help you and all you're doing is complaining about how hard the link is...please..STOP IT. This is not that place for that. If it bothers you that much then don't play Mu. I'm serious man...if it's giving you his much of a pain, apparently REAL physical pain and you're getting this upset over it then don't play her and find a character who doesn't have a link that pisses you off like this... Anyways, like Zeromus and Ve said....basically the 663B should all be done quickly as one input as soon as you land to be at the right distance for it to connect right. Meaning the B should be done the second she starts to slide forward. 2B has longer reach them it appears and you actually don't have to dash very deep. If it's not coming out you're doing it too early. Watch her feet carefully and wait for her to land, and the second she does is when you start doing the input.

It's not useless...did you read the advice? Do it right when you land after the j.2C. Like Silfer said, by the time her feet hit the ground you should already have started doing the 66 input. Now please stop using this thread to complain about how hard it is, that won't help you. Like you said, you know better, it's not uncomboable because you know and I know people do it all the time. Only thing that will help you now is practice, which is always a good thing.

I tried to be helpful at first too ya know. I directed you to Agi's advice, which you called useless. Then I gave you my advice, which was the same advice TD just gave you as well, to do the 663B right when you land...which is pretty much the same advice in Agi's original post worded slightly different. You're the one who kept on complaining it was too hard instead of just taking the advice the first time it was given to you, so forgive me if I got a little irritated by it.

I'm total n00b at fighting games, CS is my first one actually.. and I managed to learn that link in one sitting. It's not that hard. Now please, stop derailing the combo thread with your complaining and go play Tager.

If you have a problem with it, and are getting this upset just cause you can't connect it, then by all means please DO go back to playing Tager and his stupidly easy combos. Mu is obviously not for you if you think the dash 2b link is hard. (It's not that hard...) Sorry that theres no "magical secret" that makes it Tager-level-easy for you.

Theres no secret like that for this link...immediately after you land do 663B. Seriously...Agi probably explained it the best way it can be explained. if you don't move, yeah you did it to fast so do it a bit later. If you get there too late and they tech do it a bit it sooner. Keep doing that till you find the window. It's there, trust me...it's small but it's there.

Depends if you're new to FGs or not. If you're super new like me, theres getting past the execution barrier, which is the first step. Doing that is basically just learning how to do combos and blockstrings and such. (I'm still at this step...guh...) But then theres the bigger step which is application, and knowing what to actually DO with it all. Stuff like when to use certain combos, whats most optimal in a given situation, character specific strategies etc. But in the end the only real way to truly learn how to use your character is to first, get past their execution barrier, then, just like others have said, just fight people and learn through experience...save you replays and learn through your mistakes, look up your matchups etc etc... Just keep at it. It won't happen right away. It can take months, years even to be good at games like these.

B-but...it's just so fun...xD I dunno, it's all risk reward really. I guess I don't mind taking the risk. But yeah, the upcoming IB nerfs should make it less risky now though~

Those were awesome Ve. I'm just getting into practicing setups, and I really like these. I'm pretty fond of ~>5D>6[D]>SoD>6]D[>~ Her oki is just plain fun stuff.

Is there still no word on how/when the update will show up on consoles?

5D > 6D > 236D > (5D > 6D)xN would be so hilariously broken lol. The lockdown on that would be so dumb. xDD Seriously though I think I'd ragequit Mu if that ever happened, but I know it won't so I'm not worried. Still funny to visualize though. XD Longer 2B reach is what I'm looking forward to the most, I can only land 662B around 75% of the time, I won't be comfortable until it goes up to 90% of the time. Also JCable 3C sounds nice, I know I shouldn't but I've got such a bad habit of using it too often and too predictably in my blockstrings. Still working on breaking that habit. But, with it being safer I'll feel less dumb while teaching myself not to do it so much. xD
