  1. Yeah, I've noticed that. I am beginning to hate this matchup a LOT. I mean, I know Lam is all about zoning, though with Litchi I hate that you are forced to spend practically the whole MATCH just running away and hoping she messes up. Outside of the corner it's pretty easy to IB -> back-dash, I can get away from her okay outside of the corner. Though...in the corner it's just...a nightmare...her block strings are difficult...gah so many low moves/overheads. Her mixup is so Godly. ;_; I can do them okay if I focus usually, the Litchi I play tends to use the same block-string after all..but not being able to dash out when your back is to the wall SUCKS...she's just so good at getting poor Lamchop in the corner and keeping her there...and Lam's DP always fails me. It usually gets blocked and i'm right back under pressure. I've given up on fishing for CH 5Ds cause usually the Litchi I play is far too smart to fall for any of that, and will stay defensive when too away from me to hit and rush down or jump-in when she thinks it's safe. I started to punish her jump-ins, and it worked for awhile. I try to AA 6A -> 6C, and it works pretty well..usually. More often she falls for AA 2DD -> 6C. This has been helping loads, though I'm still always so on edge fighting her, and she's learning how to avoid the punishes I mentioned and is not jumping as much, and manages to block them she when does. This battle is scary. I mean, I noticed today one of her normals does 1000+ damage alone...wtf? o_O;; Not to mention it's got scary good range and knocks you into the air if you miss your IB and get hit, then you eat one of her evil aerial combos... This is a match-up I just...don't like playing, makes me not enjoy the game as much. I'm always on edge in this battle, one tiny mess up = bye bye to half your health in an instant. T_T Being nervous also causes me to mess up more... Anyways, how do you deal with this "on edge" feeling, and any tips on dealing with a defensive Litchi? I'm trying to mixup what I do, and try not to be too predictable, but she just seems to be able to jump over/block just about anything I throw out. >.<; Not to mention her scary corner pressure...how do you escape that other then just bursting?
  2. Hellz to the yes. Thank you so much for this!
  3. Oo, this looks fun. I just might try out for Noel/Saya. Maybe Tao actually....since a friend says I imitate her english voice pretty well. xD
  4. Ahh! Thanks for this and the person who requested it. I was trying to put that thing together too but no dice. =P
  5. Now that I look at it...yes. Yes you should. >3 Well CS4 can do GIF animations too, though I have no clue how, and don't really wanna learn. =D I just like imageready better...it's what I'm used to lol. I should do some Litchi ones next lol. Edit: Lol yay bewbs. Litchi can FLLLYYY.... http://i33.tinypic.com/jqn6zq.gif (Linked cause it's kinda big. =P)
  6. Haha. It does doesn't it? xD If that is the case is it definitely Kokonoe's doing...I mean she DID blast Tao out of a canon once before...poor lam. xD
  7. Yeah kinda what i was thinking. xD besides, she's technically a "robot" so I dunno if physical pain really bugs her much anyways. Anyways, more Lam gifs yay. One of them is technically Nu's but either way, I like that one so. xD;; More spinny lol. I love the spinny animations for just about everyone. ^_^ The animation on her 236C might be off though. That one was tricky.
  8. Well when she gets electrocuted she has feet in her skeleton, so I'll assume she has feet... http://i35.tinypic.com/inzbsp.gif I would imagine normal human feet would get sore, but she isn't really human though...sooo...I dunno. >>
  9. Don't feel bad. I'm still stuck in the Nu mentality at times too, and stupidly try to do 5DD -> 4DD -> 236D on occasion too...as soon as I do I'm like "Oh wait..." then eat serious punishment lol. xD
  10. That is a very good question...>> Also, sulking Lambda:
  11. Hehe, all right then. Always a little paranoid about asking silly questions is all. Anyways, thanks very much for the help, it's appreciated greatly. ^^
  12. Thank you VERY much for the sprites Circ. =D I quite having fun with these. ^_^ Spinny Lamb spinny...^_^
  13. Forgive me, I'm still learning and was just wondering cause I personally had not seen a combo in an actual match yet that exceeded six loops...thats all, so figured there may have been a reason or it might not have been practical/possible and wanted to know. I guess not...sorry. Thanks for the answers, perhaps I'll start practicing doing the TK9 version as opposed to TK7. ^^
  14. Ah I see. Is it better to always use TK9 then or does it not really matter? Also, is it practical to try and do 8 loops in an actual match?
  15. A question. On another forum, someone stated that when doing the loop, the TK9 version alone can do 8 reps and there is no need for micro-dash 66A or 5b anywhere in the loop. Is this true or is it bs? I never heard of anything above 6 reps. o_o;;
  16. Thanks for the help. My friend plays a semi-decent Noel, but a veeery risky one...doesn't block much and is always playing RTSD, just continually throwing out long blockstrings. He's no longer hard to beat if I'm at my best, all I really need to do is block low and dash away. This is if it's a fair match...(with no lag). He's risky enough to jump in on over and over again without blocking and I catch him with 6DD and 2DD a lot, it's lulz worthy. Though since I've been playing him online lag is resulting in me eating his combos a lot since I can't IB -> punish anymore. T_T; Getting out of her very "in your face" combos is hard to do with Lambda online...any tips on dealing with lag or is it just a "get used to it" thing?
  17. Tager pong? xD Sounds fun.
  18. Yo homslice, whats crackalakin?

  19. Just to be sure I've been practicing doing both variations. I'm at the point where either one feels fine, but dj.DD always feels better for me. I guess I just like being quick hehe. I do occasionally miss a hit, but it's not too often I'd like to hope. =3 Oh, also..I can never seem to pull off the feint version, is there any particular advantage to it? And yes, you must! Would be very helpful to see. I actually haven't seen many Lam vs. Litchi matches, the only ones I've seen were of the same two players on youtube I think. Eventually I need to get a video capture card myself and record my Lambda as well for critique sometime...
  20. Ahh. Yeah. I do sometimes whiff my dj.214D, rarely, but it happens every so often. I guess thats why. =P So either are practical in the right situation then...
  21. Any reason in specific you don't recommend it? I'm one of those people who do the small jump cancel into dj.DD instead of using dj.2DD. It was just what I was used to when I switched to Lambda after playing Nu. I seem to have more success doing it this way. Is using dj.2DD more practical for any reason or is it personal choice?
  22. Eh worst I had was actually 0 bars with a group of my friends in California, man shit was moving in slo-mo at times, it was awful. D: 1 or 2 bars sounds better then that, but any lag with Lambchop is no fun.

  23. I live in the USA. In Hawaii actually. So technically west coast, hehe. ^^ I don't mind fighting either, but I'm not very good at all and I'm sure I'll get utterly raped, but it'd be nice to see a decent Lambda in action regardless. ^^ I'm the only Lambda main in my group of friends, so I've never fought a Lambda really either.

  24. Yeah. My best friend mains her and she has since CT, and she has always been a very aggressive Litchi player, it's pretty scary sometimes hehe. And yes, videos would be very helpful, would love to see some. :] Thanks for all your help really, it's very greatly appreciated. I'll be sure to try out everything you've suggested. ^_^
  25. It may not be just you, I'm not very good at blocking in my opinion, really but I do have a rather okay time IB'ing her stuff. I mostly try to play it safe though, as whenever I try to punish after IB I always end up having the tables turned on me again, so I usually just IAD away and try to continue zoning like you said. Also, thanks for the vid. I always tend to forget about Lam's gravity seed and it's interesting uses. Anyways, any tips on punishing Litchi after an IB? Or is it better to take the play it safe route and just zone?
