  1. SoD wallbounce yo. That'd be fun shenanigans. In all seriousness, j.2C bounce also sounds like an interesting idea. If this 3C thing sticks I really wonder how they'd intend to make up for taking away one of her few launch options.
  2. Yeah. Without 3C untechable, it renders a shitton of her current combos impossible...meaning if this sticks it's back to square one. I hope Arcsys isn't stupid enough to keep this change. I'll be very sad if it's gone, I loved 2B pickup combos so much. ;_; It's part of why I picked her up.

  9. We have a modded TE in our house with octagonal gates. I could consistently TK7 playing on PS3 pad (though I actually used the analog stick for just about everything) and could get around 2 - 3 loops with that, but nothing more. Switching to a stick that had square gates originally, I found I could no longer TK at all on that thing. After switching to octagonal gates I can sorta get off a TK9 once in awhile but not consistently. So back to learning how to TK...again. OTL But overall, I personally find octagonal gates feel nicer than square ones as far as TK motions go, but I'll just assume any stick with any type of gate takes practice to get used to. So no matter what you choose just keep at it, and you'll get it eventually.

  14. Man, sounds like it was fun. I'll definitely make sure theres nothing stopping me from going next time. We need to get the BB hype going. If we do that the arcades might decide it's worth it to invest in CS machines...cause CT is dead at this point lol. When playing as Nu I alway forget 236x parsers don't exist...but keep trying to do them anyways. She's so boring to play as compared to Lambda. So I want my Lamchop at the arcades, and my Hazama. :] So lets get some 808 BB hype people. ^^
  15. Grrr. I wanted to go then suddenly I have a doctors appointment at 4 on Friday, so I can't go as much as I'd want to. Oh well, Lunar doesn't like fighting my Nu anyways. <_<
  16. yeah, Lunar has Fridays off and I pretty much make my own work hours (lol) so Friday is probably best. We're not very good though, and not very good on stick either. And I also main Nu in CT...though it's been awhile since I have done so and I don't really member a lot of her stuff lol. Been playing CS too much.

  18. And you have balls to say that crap to me. I got into this game only a few months back, so shut up if i'm not as in the know about the scene as you are okay man? It's based on what I've seen and who I know who does play, and it's not a lot. This is in A FEW MONTHS OF RESEARCH. Gimme a break dude...seriously. And...get outside more? You're really telling me this when you don't even know me? Because...I don't know the status of a gaming scene? That doesn't make sense at all dude, I go out and do more shit other then look up who's playing what video games...so I don't see how that has anything to do with anything. So can it okay? Replying angrily to a post that wasn't even MEANT to be insulting in any shape or form...an opinion that I formed based on what I know. You could of been nice. I obviously don't know about the scene, so you could have corrected me. I might have been happy to hear it, shit I WOULD have been happy to hear it. But if the scene is filled with people like you, I'd rather play at home.

  20. Thats a good question, I've noticed that happen a few times on other characters too while actually fighting. the first hit will connect but the second hit will get blocked. Would like to know why that is. Is it spacing possibly?

Actually, I believe you end up a little lower in the air then your opponent after you C cancel the j.214D so you could possibly use j.DD instead of j.2DD depending on positioning, since j.2DD is more likely to whiff. But to answer the question, yes I'm pretty sure it does combo even if you used it on it's own outside of a proper combo. From the ground, I find it fun to do IAD > j.2DD > j.214D~C > j.DD > j.2DD > j.214D Though, that might only work on the taller characters like Tager, though I've gotten it to work on Noel in training...though I think there is a certain range you'd need to be at for it to work. If not you could just drop the extra j.DD and just go straight into j.2DD after the j.214D~C.

  23. I usually don't use the feint version but I have tried it in training before. I usually just do what the person above me said and start mashing j.DD immediately after j.214D~C...it's probably a bad habit but it works for me. xP
  24. Huh, I'm pretty sure they do combo...o.o Assuming we're talking about stuff like j.DD > dj.DD > j.214D~C > j.DD >j.214D? I see Minori use that a lot and it does combo...
  25. You can cancel the j.214D by pressing C immediately after inputting the command, resulting in a feint saber.
