Nah, I'm thinking of going somewhere in London. Or just somewhere not close to home. This place is pretty dead so I don't really wanna stick around lol. But yeah, thanks for the offer man. If/when I need some money management tips, I'll give you a call.
Checked out a couple of the UC2 vids too. Kyzer showcasing his record-breaking Lambda, you getting serious and owning Rav with Tsubaki after a couple of close Rachel matches and Fuzzy showing he's no match for the power of science. Good shit, can't wait to see the finals.

Plus there's not really much point in getting an xbox when you have a ps3 to be honest. Like you said, it's just a shame we can't get more offline sessions together. But hey, the way you keep winning these tourneys you'll probably have enough money to burn on a 360 pretty soon anyway. :p Haha. That's the one thing I'm not looking forward to when I get to Uni; I still feel like I'm too young to be worrying about money lol. I'm pretty passionate about English though, so it should be good when I do go. I've just got the same problem as you. I procrastinate way too much and I know it's gonna get me in trouble lol.

Cool, I'll check 'em out. And thanks about the tourney. It's a shame you're not on XBL. Then again, I'm not sure how much I'd really want the Black Beast in my tournament anyway lol. But yeah, besides BB life is fine. Doing my A-Levels and I just got a job recently so yeah, I'm pretty content. How about you man? What's good?

Okay, so I gotta use drive intelligently, refrain from random DDs and stay the hell away from 3C outside of guaranteed setups. I'll see what else I can pick up at LTG but thanks for the tips. Is there any noticeable difference between the animations of her 236A/B/C compared to her 236D by the way? I don't wanna be sitting there blocking when I could be punishing you. :p

How to beat her with Noel would be good. :p Seriously though, I think I just need match-up experience. Blockstrings, how to get in on her, what's safe and what's not. That whole thing. I'll check out the vids and her forum to see what I can find, but I'm guessing I'll learn the best stuff fighting you. Unless there's some pointers you wanna give me on fighting her now.

Sabotage your opponents sticks and/or insist that everyone you play uses Rachel. Seriously though, I've never seen a Noel player get that far in competitive scenes so I'm just as interested in the answer to that question as you are.

As far as CT goes, it took me about 3 months to get 'proficient' with Noel. That's most of her combos (besides the really difficult ones like the haida loop), matchups; that whole jazz. BB was also my first competitive fighter, but I have mashed my way through casual games of Tekken, Street Fighter, Soul Calibur etc. I won't be getting CS over here until the 3rd and then CSII is gonna come out in less than a week, so we'll just have to see how long it takes before I can get the new Noel down.

Yeah, Tsubaki being a rushdown character with bad normals just makes me laugh. xD Still, loketests aren't over yet so there's still a chance that'll they'll change that before it comes out. Noel looks to be heading back into mid-tier too, so I hope I can see more of her around. I'm hoping more Japanese players start using her too now that R-1 has dropped her to tier whore Bang (even though I can't blame her seeing how bad CS1 Noel was). The one thing that's bugging me the most about this patch though is how we're gonna get it; it's a pretty huge re-haul of the game so I'm starting to worry whether it's gonna be a free download or not. If I have to pay for another disk 6 days after CS is released here I'm gonna be pissed lol.

So pretty much the same thing as what her 6C(2) already does, but they can't tech in the air anymore. With the right distance, 5A > 6A > 6C(2) > 66C > Drive Juggle might work and the second hit of 6C prorates positively if I remember correctly. Edit: Looks like it's been confirmed to be wall bounce and not stick. Still, this change opens up a lot of new options for Noel.

Nah, I'm definitely gonna prepare myself for the worst anyway. I bet you the one change Arc make to Noel is getting rid of that combo. I kind of want them to change that about her anyway. I prefer the challenge and the pride in repping a low tier character. Besides, Noel is getting some buffs(!) to her normals and her drive, which is a lot better to me than just some zero effort, stupid damage combo. I'm getting a bit tired of just looking at all these changes now though. I just wanna play it already! Just two more weeks for CS and LTG and three for CSII. /hype

Alright, thanks for that Zephyr. I'm hoping that the second translation is the correct one though. No damage off of throws mid-screen or in the corner doesn't sound that great to me.
