  1. I think it's either got to do with the fact that there's no new changes to Noel or that not enough people at these loketests care about her. Something is telling me it's the latter though..
  2. I don't think it's Assault Through since there's no active hitbox.. Gotta be her Counter Assault like bmore said.
  3. I think he meant you might as well try the d.214D as a blocked j.D can also get you fatal'd. :P
  4. Gotta agree with what's been said so far. It seems that for a lot of people as soon the word 'different' comes into play everyone assumes the worst. Everyone knows loketests aren't final changes and yet there are still so many theory fighters getting worked up over a character and calling them 'unplayable' when they haven't and can't even play them. Like people have mentioned before, Noel lost a lot of good tools she had in CT when she moved to CS and people adjusted just fine. So what's to say the same can't be said about her changes in CSII? If people care so much about playing a strong character, they can just switch to Bang or Litchi or whoever else is top-tier at the time and take your whining someplace else. Try using Assault Through instead if you're low enough. That usually works for me.
  5. Good work, Pizza. Let's just hope not many of these combos become redundant with the release of CSII.
  6. Not to mention how ridiculously impractical it is to pull off in a real match. xD
  7. Noel has a full kill combo. So yes, yes she can.
  8. Will do. Thanks for the info.

  9. Nah, only people who ordered the Fan Edition will get Makoto and that's only because it's part of the deal. The only bonus people are going to get for having to wait so long is a free Taokaka mouse mat (again only to those who pre-ordered the Fan Edition). There's also a very limited amount of stock for the PS3 Fan Edition left due to people no doubt cancelling their pre-order and importing it.
  10. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think same move proration is where doing the same move over in a combo makes that moves damage diminish after each successive hit. For instance, 6C might do 100 damage on the first hit and only 50 on the next. Positive proration is the opposite and is why haida looping nets so much damage. (I'm pretty sure Noel's B silencer has positive proration, but I think her C silencer has same move.) As far as tips go on wakeup go, 6B works I think? Haven't got much experience with CS Noel.
  11. That being said, the XBox release of Valkenhayn should probably be around early next month or even late this month. The European release of Blazblue was delayed because of DLC issues and ZenUnited reported that the issues were fixed and they were planning on getting the game out around Nov 19th/3rd Dec (there's conflicting evidence for both these dates). Anyway, not too long to go either way.
  12. For characters who don't have a big enough hitbox to land that last d.6B maybe you could add one haida rep instead to give yourself sufficient heat for the Fenrir ending. So, 3C -> 22BC -> 66C -> 22B -> 22BC -> 66C -> 22B -> 6D -> d.6C -> d.2D -> 623D -> 66C -> sj.D -> d.6D -> d.6B -> d.5c -> sj.D -> Fenrir Or were you going for a haida-less combo?
  13. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?10443-BBCS1-Noel-Guide DT wrote up a pretty good guide. See if you can get anything from there.
  14. BB:CSII Loketest Videos http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hl7nzTCxZYM - Noel vs Hazama http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n803Nh2dFUI&feature=related - Noel vs Makoto http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hzoy9pxN7A&feature=related - Noel vs Makoto I'll post any more that I can find.

  16. Good luck with that. If worst comes to worst, DN are starting to host weekly casuals every Friday night. If you ever get Live again, you should check it out. http://www.destructive-nature.com/forums/bb-general-discussion/1656-friday-night-fights.html#post15506
  17. Totally agree. In my opinion, if you're only going to be playing a few casuals with some friends and don't have Live, then there's pretty much no point getting a stick. Unless you're maining Carl or Arakune, you can pretty much do everything you need on a pad. I've used a pad for CT for about 4/5 months and have only recently switched to a stick, but that's only because I'm thinking of entering tournaments soon where pads aren't used very much. I coped fine with the pad and don't think it held me back at all. tldr; As long as you're comfortable with the pad, stick with it. No need to spend money on equipment just for a few battles with some friends.
  18. Stick that in the first post if ya want. But this is just loketest information, so maybe put this there as well:
  19. Google Translate ftw. And thanks for the info, Faith. I'm looking forward to seeing the final verdict for Noel. Hopefully everything will pan out well for her.
  20. I looked at the Loketest 4 thread and there was nothing there on Noel even though http://generalnantoka.blog35.fc2.com/ posted some changes. Anyone with an understanding of Japanese willing to do some translations on these? (Just search for 'ノエル' under the 'BBCSⅡ第4回ロケテ伝聞まとめ!' post)
  21. I see. I'll get started on organising/advertising right away then. Thanks for the advice, Kyle. =)
