  1. @Bears: We should try and setup some GG/BB casuals at HVGL. I can bring AH3 (Actually now that I recall I think it was in my bag last week when you were here ) That's probably the only other FG atm that I really want to learn/play. @Solar: Hah. Tsu is...getting weird changes, I'm not going to complain about it though, I don't know what to make of it, but if it gets changed, great? if not...oh well. I'll still be playing her. The system changes on the other hand....is just...lol XD
  2. Trust me I REALLLLYYYY want to play Guilty Gear. It's just really hard when the only form of this game I have is for PSP. I want to use a stick for this but I don't have a copy nor do I have a Ps2 stick and I refuse to use the Dpad. Also same as the others, I don't know who I'd want to play... Blazblue is the first FG I got into, so it would be learning a lot of new stuff, but I'm open to that. Solar and I always have talk on who we'd play in GG, just....we have no way of playing it. No way of playing it didn't give me much of a reason to learn stuff.

  4. I don't know if it's been posted and forgive me for not wanting to sift through 23 pages for this...but what is an optimal combo off of an air 5B CH? The only option I'm thinking of is 2CC > normal air combo... >>;; and if you're really lucky in getting them in the right position on that hit, IAD combo.

I small kine did not want to do tests, it makes us more aware of the recording and then it takes longer for us to "settle in" to play, considering you and I haven't had any matches for awhile (*cough* more like a couple of hours...)   15. Solar does that a lot to me. Since jumping in with Tsubaki is a bad idea (yet sometimes I jump anyway >.<;; ), make it uncomfortable for her to close in, make her second guess her approaches. Make Tsubaki respect you and scare her to your advantage. It's really all about keeping your momentum in this. If I EVER do a 236x approach, it's when it's safe, with no steins close to the ground (hahahaha like that'll ever happen in my matches) and when Solar doesn't expect it (to avoid her throwing out Habaya). Charging straight into a stein is never good, two of your options will catch Tsubaki with good stein positioning: explosion or totsuka. I stick with barrier dashing, which is optimal to use in Tsubaki's case because she can stop her run to barrier and block Habaya if it's thrown out, or if you throw out a 5C. Her 236x series is an option to close distance with other characters, but Mu is not one of them. In one of our matches you threw out Totsuka with 3 steins out and I got locked in the middle of that. That was fun X__X;;; Like Solar says, as far as Habaya goes, the only thing you do have to watch out for is Tsubaki's 214x series if you become predictable with Habaya. With charge, she'll cut right through it with 214D. Her other 214x series have varied invul frames so take advantage of that, they simply cannot press a 214x and cut through Habaya each time. Mu's Habaya is also not a "get out of free" card, but it's a good tool to use when used effectively. I haven't tested it out, but I do believe that 214D is the only one you should be wary for. 214C has too much startup frames before it actually hits (that you could dash 2B and punish since 214x only has head/body invul), and I believe 214B is not reliable because it's hard to cut through Habaya with her 214B invul frames unless done at the right time. I really have yet to test that out with Solar sometime, but I do know I've cut through Habaya at the cost of one charge for 214D effectively, but 214B (and I don't even want to try the C variant) will leave you in a good enough position to backdash, zone her out, leave a stein, and frustrate her. Or her invul will run out on 214B and she'll get hit by Habaya. But like I said, I have yet to test it out effectively, this is just observation in my many matches against Solar. My long 2 cents worth XD
  16. I actually have some more matches on my computer, they're not that great compared to what we posted imo (we were both kinda out of it) but I'll bug Solar for some more matches to record later. I might upload them just to have them, will make some good material to look back on and compare in the future. Sorry I don't play Mu anymore and I post in your guys's GD, but I've heard LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of Mu info from Solar for the past year, I've always switched mains every 4 months or so (I finally settled), but I've been dealing with the Mu matchup with various characters for awhile XD EDIT: See link in one of our sigs....and our derp
  17. I hope she is~! She's been playing Mu for almost a year now (Around September/October is when she picked up Mu, we have some vids). I've been hopping around characters too much...I finally settled on Tsubaki. Solar stuck with Mu for almost a year ^^ and been dedicated...she doesn't work too so when I went to work she'd be practicing stuff and when I would return from work she would STILL be practicing. XD

  19. It was really just something that Solar and I saw and tried out after watching oboron vs. BLOOK, but it's a fact that Mu can DP out of her 6A Unblockable setup. But it seems too situational to have a combo that'll leave you in the optimal position to have Mu whiff her DP and 22D hit. It feels like its possible, but at the same time it feels VERY situational, corner carry enders will usually leave you in that spot where BLOOK took that DP hit. Origins > 6A Unblockable. That's the fact. The situational part (Finding combos that'll let 6A hit at max range) is probably right, but C0R stated earlier we wanted to avoid things like this in the matchup section. Doesn't make the statement wrong/false, but it's nitpicking at the situation. Then again what do I know, I'm technically not a good Tsubaki ._.;;; but this is my 2 cents worth...
  20. Wow lots of good stuff here O___o;; Thanks a lot for the input...will definitely try to put these all in... I'll try to get some more matches in against Solar and all...hopefully we'll see some improvement with this over time. I think now that I finally understand a bit more about her than day1....gotta start stepping away from what I'm used to and learn some more. Thanks everyone for the help.
  21. I have a feeling that the answer to that (against you at least) is...to use something else for pressure. Tsubaki has charge cancelling, tick throws, unblockable 22D mindgames, etc = other means of pressure than just the 6A overhead...I just actually have to use it.

As for the 22C > 236D corner carry stuff, I don't know why I didn't think about using that. @__@;; really useful. Tick Throws and Charge Cancelling I have to actively remind myself and work that in....I'm sure practice and lots of matches will remedy that over time. Thanks for the input, lots of things I didn't see that I can now work on. I feel still "awkward" (for a lack of a better term) about applying Tsubaki pressure effectively and what tools she has for it. That being said, is there a way to slip in 6A effectively in a blockstring? I feel that if I try to slip 6A in on Solar/Mu I will get thrown/DP out of it on reaction. But then again I don't use any charge cancelling/tick throws/any tools to apply Tsubaki pressure right. I just know that Solar has not unsuccessfully thrown me out of 6A yet.

Rip it apart, seriously, I want to get better >.<;;; Just a few notes: I can't do any 623C > j.214A whiff combos yet, I just got IAD combos down and I'm starting to use them in matches >>;;;, and I am aware that at 6:04 of the second link, I messed up and did a 2D instead of a 22D unblockable ._.;;; Fail. Other than that, I appreciate any input. And sorry for the crappy quality, we JUST got my Dazzle to work again ._.;;
