Hahaha I'm almost ashamed to post this, but any tips on the 22C > dash 5C > 2C > 236x stuff? I can't seem to connect the dash 5C without them teching out of the corner. :\ Is it like our 236D > dash 5B stuff? or is it more like the Litchi dash 5B as far as timing goes >>;;; or am I making this harder than needs be. XDD

Any advice would help really, like I said, I started off learning Unblockables with the 6A > 22D then started slowly putting them in blockstrings just to mess people up. I saw the dropping combos thing and using the 22[D] during Kiba's matches that were posted recently. It was something I noted then that I told myself to apply later XDDDD But thanks for giving me some examples, I'm just making a giant list of everything people said and going to tackle it as soon as work stops asking for my body and soul -___-;;;

Thank you Kiba. 6A > 22D is when I was first learning/applying 22D Unblockables in general. I've been throwing them in randomly to try and catch people off guard. I'll get it eventually XP

Oh god wow, there are actually a few things I didn't know about. @Kiba: I hardly use Rapids unless I did something stupid, I'll take it into consideration. The 236C option is going to help me a lot. Did not know about that. I still suck at it, I can't get it consistently, I'm inputting things waaaaay too fast and get just 623C. Or I get the 623C > j.214A and get the dash wrong >.<;; I'm still working on it. I just don't get too much training time atm, got a lot of things in life eating up my time. I'm determined to get it though >.<;; @Airk: Wow a lot of info to learn, thanks ~ and yeah, I know about the 3 5Bs, this was the last set for the night, so I decided to post my most recent match (we recorded around 4-5 sets with around 5 matches each, but I only posted one) it was around 1AM was starting to fall asleep a bit...I kinda felt bad for finishing our set on that @___@;; but thanks a lot. Probably going to write everything down and review and all. I forgot about 2C AA to be honest >>;;; I know it's good, but I don't know why I don't use it more. @Errol: Thanks for pointing out some of my fail pressure and the options that.... didn't cross my mind at all. Thanks for some combos too >>;; Half the time I autopilot combos because my brain will go to the first combo that works in my head >>;; Long range 6A was a mistake. I don't usually make that mistake but it was a common input randomly thrown out at times which wasn't good ._.;; Oh well what happens, I'll deal. Thank you all very much! <3

Was at HVGL, on the PS2 XDD I dunno, I heard Bears talking about wanting to play Third Strike and then for some reason GG was on. Least we can have GG at our BB casuals now *nod* Though I'm no pad warrior and I know little about GG, so....it'll be a fun learning experience. I want to play this game, I'm more interested in learning how to play GG than....SF or any other FG atm. @AzureVermillion: Welcome to the 808 threads. Mystic is in Hawaii atm, and he got a job here, so I think he's not returning to the mainland (he was here for summer)...he had a note about it on his FB. Solar's talking about our local casuals thaaaaat only have the three of us, plus one Bang player, and we get random people off and on to play. I don't know if he's going to NCI, that's something you would have to ask him.

Thank you both for your input. The hardest part of this matchup is that Mystic D's Tao pressure is so hard to deal with >.<;; it's just simply hard to survive. I'll be sure to try and try these things out the next time I play mystic. Hopefully I'll get some vids too ><;;

Okay I think I need some more tips (if any) on this matchup >.<;;; Getting blown up by Mystic D's Tao and I don't know what to do. I have no recordings but hopefully 2 weeks from now I'll have something on my YT on it (Mystic won't be @casuals next week) I feel like the advice I need on this matchup has already been posted but I'm not applying it...but basically a few things: -I cannot for the life of me make her block ._.;; And I'm not perfect at blocking so eventually I'll get a CH or Tao will get a hit in that leads me to a corner + 2-3k damage. He spaces well and will jump at the last second to avoid/bait my 2C so it's rather hard to get any hit in. And DP trades, and I'm stupid and I KNOW you're not supposed to mash, but...I end up mashing buttons anyway in panic (which I know is REAAAALLY stupid and probably why I get CH) hoping to get out of pressure. Few questions: How do I get out of Tao pressure...just block and find her unsafe moves to punish? Or just block forever? X__X;; And should I be prioritizing 2C in this matchup instead of 5B? I feel like I throw out way too many 5Bs compared to 2Cs in this matchup. -He's gotten smart to my charge + j.214C after his combos. Few questions: Is it wise to alternate between the other versions of j.214x? I tend to default to j.214C to get away as much distance as possible. Though even then I feel when I fall he's always right in my face or close enough to drive charge at me for another hit. I haven't tried the other versions, I was autopiloting today a bit, so was using just j.214C, or falling into the corner and getting punished. I assume after using j.214A/B you're closer to the corner correct? How good is this? (granted you don't stick to one variant like I did >>;; ) ? There were even random times where I actually hit Tao during the j.214C. There were times in some matches where I got him to block, but my pressure sucks already and I haven't been playing BB in awhile thanks to Catherine, but this was a good wake up call to start hitting training mode and playing a bit more to learn something new about Tsubaki than "letting myself plateau" as I'd like to call it ._.;; The monitors at our casuals also had around 2 frames of lag, which was screwing everyone's games, (even for him, I know he can do his combos + super consistently so it was strange), but I have no idea what I'm doing here, other than trying to 2C him everytime I see him drive towards me and block forever. If what's been posted is really what's all to this matchup then......I got a lot of work to do XD I just lack the right mindset on how to approach this, I'm still unsure exactly what I'm supposed to do other than just block and...then what. In any case, hopefully in 2 weeks I'll have something to post in the "Self Improvement Thread" about this >.<;; I do know I have to increase my pressure game by tenfold, hell, my neutral game by a hundredfold, but if there's anything else that can help, I'd greatly appreciate it >.<;;;
