  1. it would go well with Heidi's jump cancellable 3C!
  2. but you thumbs downed j.214D overhead!
  3. fun mugens in that konan batch
  4. I don't need frame advantage on 236D, or 22D. I would like for 236D>22D to be tighter so that we can punish people for mashing there, or for 22A to have better P1 (like CS2) and/or less disadvantage so that it really wouldn't ever be punishable on block or on IB, because that IS tight but does low damage.
  5. Yeah, or just make it so the D version is an exception. j.214x actually are very good starters too though, like 3.5k or something if you go into an IAD combo in the corner. The CH thing is really annoying. We didn't have it in BBCS1, and charging has been fairly nerfed since CS2.. It sucks because some characters can get some really hard punishes from full screen because of the CH status. Seems to make sense to me because charging is not in any way an attack so.. "Counter" hit? -------------------------------------------------------------- nice jubei/kokonoe gameplay BJ. Can't be that expensive to import from the US though huh?
  6. BB3 wishlist: no CH state on charging no landing recovery on j.D 5b buff. 22x P1 buff. j.236x/j.214x are overheads! B series projectile invulnerability. Done!
  7. Ya, I'll look for you. Honestly didn't feel too bad to me. Training mode to netplay could be a diff that messes you up tho. I'd like to see how BB compares if I play you directly. but then again I didn't really have any trouble iwth the KOF netplay.
  8. I've got probably 45m, anyone? ed: nm I guess
  9. Just starting to watch.. first vid should be at 8m10s, typo. missing " in third. fixed in my quote. Interesting idea in first match, 623d>j236D>j214D>IAD to get a normal, grounded ender IAD combo out of it. Hadn't thought of that. Tager match was .. lol.
  10. Does anyone want to play?
  11. But given a hypothetical 50-50 yan-dere split vs. a 90-10 tsun-dere split, what would you choose? Without naming any names..
  12. You should play me in BB sometime. Your Jin will probably crush me but don't I deserve at least that much for sending you back to BB?
  13. GGs to various people I played throughout the day, mostly on ranked. Didn't seem to be any good rooms open and didn't feel like making.
  14. Solar likes the yan but she doesn't forget the dere. Like 50-50? It's the right balance though.
  15. Yeah, of course. It just seems more extreme in some cases here, where you might hear, for example, commentators talking about carl going training mode on people. It's always the loser's fault, of course... It seems like the amount of stuff you need to know in order to play this game at a top level is tremendous though. The basic pressure game is mostly pretty similar between chars in KOF (and generally, getting out of pressure/defense is as well). So, mostly, you can go with a similar gameplan against many chars, and actually play like 10 different chars in a tournament if you want to also. It feels like (and I could be wrong) there's a lot less of throwing something out that someone hasn't seen before and catching them with their pants down. I like both games, of course.. and spend a lot more time with BB and this community. Sorry if this sounds like a 'personal revelation of the week' post C0R...
  16. LK. I feel like, compared to other fighting games I have played, BB is more about playing your own game (pressure/setups/combos) and about researching what each individual character can do so you can break out of their patterns. Matchup knowledge is extremely important. I feel like this leads to some amount of success just grinding in training mode, without really having to have good fundamentals (myself included). I've seen numerous times that people like KOF13 because of how different the characters are, but clearly all of the characters in that are far more similar to each other than characters in BB are to each other. Any thoughts?
  17. What, didn't he go to Ragna/
  18. man, I kinda wonder if that carl doesn't pick the pink just to make pink throws harder to see. Thanks for vids as always.
  19. Does this mean anything? Well, probably something, but I don't know what. (jpn 700+ psr->starting brackets-> after first round) 【307->18->7】ラグナ ragna 【167->4->2】テイガー tager 【164->11->3】ジン jin 【158->12->5】ハザマ hazama 【119->16->8】白面 hakumen 【109->14->10】バング bang 【97->16->8】アラクネ arakune 【93->8->3】ノエル noel 【90->16->9】ヴァルケン valkenhyne 【76->8->5】Λ lambda 【74->4->1】レリウス relius 【72->12->6】ライチ litchi 【59->9->1】プラチナ platinum 【57->6->3】μ mu 【55->8->3】レイチェル rachel 【52->13->9】カルル carl 【48->10->5】タオカカ taokaka 【37->3->2】ツバキ tsubaki 【36->3->3】マコト makoto
  20. A side-by-side comparison with the bluerevo participation numbers is somewhat interesting though. I mean, 307 Ragnas -> 18 ragnas, 37 tsubaki-> 3 tsubaki. 97 arakune -> 16 arakune... Here are those numbers: Ragna 18 Arakune 16 Hakumen 16 Valkenhayn 16 Bang 14 Carl 13 Hazama 12 Litchi 12 Jin 11 Taokaka 10 Platinum 9 Lambda 8 Noel 8 Rachel 8 Mu 6 Relius 4 Tager 4 Makoto 3 Tsubaki 3
  21. Right, far be it from me to judge.
  22. Sucking is nothing to be ashamed of. It's a long road, you should try to enjoy the journey. Punctuation man, punctuation. or Wording. There's better ways to get across what you actually meant.
  23. I wasn't sure where I should put that, this might be the wrong place, I don't even know anymore
