  1. Mugen combos do a good 300 less on Noel. That's annoying. i.e. the aura hit only does a few hits. no good 6a mugen combos in the combo compilation. corner. 6a>5cc>mugen>623d>j.236d>j.214d>6cc>236c>5c>2c>BBB. ~3900. start 50 heat, end 39. need 44 at start to do.

  6. 214A>22B is a good basic combo ender. 236A is sketchy. If I'm scared of combo proration I'll do 214A>22A. Your pressure is just a bit weak. Rachel has no real reversals, so get right in there. Charge a bit, and run right in so that you can get a 5a. Reset your pressure. Both in block strings and in the middle of a combo. If you get a crouching combo on Rachel, sometimes you should just reset pressure after 6b. Run back in after 2b sometimes. Try some jab pressure. etc. If you do an ender in the corner, with the opponent in the air, you want to use CCB if possible. Charge the 22B as much as possible so that you get extra charge time or the option to 6C>236236C.

  8. Yeah, there's some annoying things in this match up for me that I'll have to get used to. Her 6A seems really good now. Huge vertical hit box, great recovery, can lead into 3.5kish. It doesn't really hit forward that much, but it'll even tag you if you're jumping past her. Her j.C is really quick and hits high above her. Great proration and can confirm into what, nearly 5k if you get hit while charging.

  10. I'll try that. I'm so free to Tager. I need to stop autopiloting dumb block strings against Tager and get down my spacing on 5b/22d. 236d>anything except 22a/jump/backdash/dp is punishable by a 360b. Risk/Reward is terrible on that, really have to try to use it when you really think you'll get a hit on the 236d. But not sure how much it should be used given how bad it is on block.

  17. Sorry, I mean j.214x. and by j.214x, I mean j214a/b/c. for reference, j.236c>rc>5cc>2cc>6cc>236C>2c>5c (3147) (-32 net heat).. corner of course. It's a good starter, but yeah, when do I find myself doing that? But, that's also why I'd like it to be an overhead. You can only get an IAD off CH 214C, and it has to be an air ender. I rarely use them myself.
  18. Also, any j.214x hit can lead into a full IAD combo from anywhere on the screen, if you RC. This is a little more difficult, since you have to micro dash after the RC. But you can get ~~3.3k off of it. j.236c is also a pretty good starter off an RC, but uses for that are pretty limited.. I just don't go reading the combo compilation much anymore. That doesn't mean it isn't useful.
  19. actually, I didn't realize you could go into 3c from 5bb. That isn't bad at all... Usual way for me to blow heat is to get a 6cc midscreen. e.g. midscreen, 5a>5cc>22c>RC>6CC>BBB , 2404. 5a>5cc>22c>RC>6CC>BBB>(in corner)>6C>236236C, 3063.
  20. Happens to me. I think it's cuz barrier can cancel normal moves in their startup. If you hit one button 1 frame later then the other button, you're in CH state for 1 frame until the barrier cancels it (and barrier comes out). Kinda sucks. Doesn't have anything to do with netplay as far as I know.

  23. Well, I don't exactly base my opinion on what should change upon random people on netplay either. Theoretically, it seems like it'd make more sense to look at what it's like for someone like konan playing against others. But, you know, I also enjoy CSEX pretty much as it is. Not to mention that I'm not a level where there is any point to complaining about tiers or anything anyway.
  24. Ya, I don't think it needs it, but it would be cool on j236b and j236c. although the frame advantage on them might be too much if they were.
  25. since when do things I post have to make sense... about jc delay. Yeah, it makes sense to me. I'll use 2b after a JC, even though it is just about the slowest 2b in the entire game. I hadn't thought about how you could put out the JC and have it get canceled due to landing ------ which would be a nice thing about j.236C being an overhead, same thing going on there, but it just isn't an overhead right now.
