there was an online gods garden thing over the weekend. Dunno exactly what they are doing with these things, but I guess it was the completion of one of these online gods gardens. I guess before was qualifiers and main event was on the weekend.. I suppose they'll be doing several more of these culminating in an offline event in July. It was 300 yen on nico to get access to the event, which I did and watched it. Not sure if those videos will be coming up on here since it's a paid thing. You can guess the results though I guess.

I don't know exactly what the deal with gods garden is, but it's related to that. If he doesn't get at least 3rd in the next online gods garden, he won't be doing any more online gods garden and hence won't be going to gods garden in July of next year. But if he does end up in that gods garden, he will be playing Kokonoe. But if he doesn't he might not end up playing her. If he does switch he's not going to be playing Rachel much anymore, it seems.

Yeah. Wouldn't matter too much if they didn't decide to make 5b particularly bad as a starter. you're right on the air hits. Confirming to airhits is still on the rough side for tsubaki. 5bb> j.B is now tight because of the 5bb attack level nerf. but really the problem is more that 5bb whiffs so much. if 5bb would actually hit you still have more time to confirm into an air hit than if you just 5a5b. But that's the thing, you've gotta confirm that they jumped when 5b hits. and if you're mashing b, then 5bb will automatically come out and whiff. I think you have the right idea. when 5c hits an airborne opponent I usually have no problem because 5cc will usually hit. Note that I rarely do 5a5c, that's why. if I get an airborne hit with 5c it's because I did raw 5c, and then 5cc hits. which easily confirms into jC for a pretty good combo with 1 charge. Overall I'd say on wakeup you should try to avoid using jabs now if at all possible. there's still lots of other cases to use jabs a lot though, and if you want to be able to confirm you really need to just do 5a>5b and see what is going on before you press another button.

I told TD to play you yesterday to get some matches against a solid tsubaki. you're like orange right. I'm dark green. you're both ultra late nighters so I'm confused how you haven't played yet.

yeah stick takes some getting used to. it is good but some stuff still is a tad odd to me compared to if I were using a pad. it's better but it feels less symmetric. need more practice on both sides. my rachel will improve a lot once I stop messing up wind directions and such.

I wasn't actually saying you should schedule a match. I meant it as he should schedule a match. Unfortunately I am forseeing things getting harder when teams realize they're not in the running and don't feel like participating in something they won't win. this is kind of rough. but looking for good games on the weekend.

nemesis, if you want to play, just say schedule a team match even if only you can make it against another team. I don't want to boost your ego any further but your team would probably do better that way anyway. Maybe it will be considered a subversion of the format but bloodwolf did it. If your team never shows up I mean what are you going to do.
