  1. there's a period after a roll where you can block and do nothing else. it can be tight to pick someone up during a roll and it's harder to punish at the end of a roll with a normal than with a command grab, again, timing. if you backdash and they roll you won't be able to punish with a normal I believe, but you can punish with a command grab. if they don't roll you can 5b.
  2. so what I was saying was after a J214A, you backdash and if they roll you punish with a command grab. you can only block for a good period after a roll so you can 100% punish it with a command grab. command grab vs 5c mixup on normal wakeup is good though.

  5. there's so much time there. people I play do not let that pass. if you're going to try that I think you need to do it earlier and lower in the air really.

  7. There aren't overlapping attributes except for projectiles now really. Basically the end result is that 214x doesn't work on air moves anymore, but it works on more grounded moves, and it doesn't work on any projectiles. some chars just use a lot of low moves. good luck using 214b against nu ever, she pretty much never sticks out anything it will work against in this matchup, and there are enough other characters that mostly use lows against us too because if you low profile 5b the only thing tsubaki can do is try to 5a you first.
  8. sometimes less is more. Some people are very concerned about their win/loss rate and will stop playing if they see that number in their face. It's real stuff, that's why blizzard got rid of it in starcraft2.

  10. well this is simple. doing stuff in a controlled environment is different from doing it in a fight to the death match. Happens to the best of us.

  14. an interesting thing on that, since you can't crouch instantly from a jump (fuzzy), if you time it properly it will overhead on the 18th frame or whatever. basically it is the situation where you bring someone down to the ground with jumping attacks, land before them, and overhead. Not sure how many frames it takes to go to crouching from landing.
  15. I haven't looked. Actually I thought the only 64 man stuff was the virtual arcade thing. Normal rooms have a limit of 8 now.

  17. nah I wouldn't do that but I ended up occupied for a bit. your play is too yolo, same as relius, doing things where the risk reward doesn't match up. 6c, or trying to run up 6a me and having it whiff on crouch.. GGs though I'm glad to play and you'll improve over time for sure.

  21. under the network options part of the options menu, turn everything off. it's first auto-upload replays, then each option after that is autosaving replays for various types of matches. The only one that really ought to be turned off is player room matches but w/e. the network options is the second from the bottom item as I recall.

  23. But the timing is still specific isn't it? If you do it immediately, you'll hit some characters too high for an IAD and if you don't do it immediately on others it'll drop right? So even if it works on diff chars you would need to know which char falls into what category, right. in which case the only reliably consistent thing to do is probably 5c>2c but it'd still help to know. tho I might be remembering something like 6cc>214d
