Some of the animated avatars people use on here are ridiculously obnoxious. I adblock the worst ones, but I guess I thought it would be nice if you could check a setting to not animate avatars. like display the first frame only, no animation.

The niche use is holding j.D to delay falling. It's like a poor man's version of litchi stuff, etc.

there are tons of characters without dps. there are tons of things that can help on defense besides having a dp. Barrier, IB is universal. everyone has a backdash, but certain characters that don't have DPs, have utterly broken backdashes (Relius, Valkenhyne, Taokaka). is your 2a 6 frames, how much range does it have, how about your 5a, range, crouchers?

you shouldn't be pressing j.D outside of a combo. anything will beat it. it's a piece of shit.

why, a loketest didn't ferret out valk, tao, jin, hakumen, etc. much better will be giving us the game for 3 months and then a balance patch or CP2.

Does anyone remember how long it normally takes for the hitbox rips once console version hits? Or were the hitboxes ripped from the xbox version and it won't be so easy with the ps3 one, and since there is no xbox version anymore...? Kinda looking forward to seeing new hitboxes and realized I had no idea when/if we'd get them...

well, unless you don't count things like tsubaki, hazama, and bang's standinh low hitting normals. they're not 5bs though.

Yeah, I mean, it is worth keeping in mind that air barrier reduces your hitbox size quite a bit. it's very possible that you can dodge an attack with air barrier that if you pressed a button, you'd get hit by. and 623c is hella active. it's very easy to get hit by it after you think it won't be active anymore.

I don't think that was a deadzone anyway. it's possible he might have been air grabbed if the valk had gone for it. but it's also possible the valk woulda been hit if he tried. the dp did end up being blocked I think, before the j214d even came out.
